These guys are the best!! I am a woman who recently decided to stop working with another another local auto service place because their front desk staff personnel changed and most of the new ones are very rude (i overheard the woman at the front desk talk to a colleague and make fun of a customer on the phone) . Stay away. Loyal customer for years and always had mediocre service. Had a fuel pump issue and had Leach's preform the repair. as soon as I received my car i noticed multiple issues with the fuel system. After 8 months of them "trying" to fix it I decided to take my car to the dealership. The dealership noticed multiple issues with the original repair from Leaches. Owner was not open to discuss the issues found by the dealership. If you're looking for a mechanic I would look elsewhere. read more

There are certain people that are difficult to find, but once you find them and they do quality work, you want to keep them. Auto mechanics are one of those people. I happened to stumble upon Leach's several years ago when I needed my car checked out--they sit right on the main street that runs through Lemoyne and I'd driven by them hundreds of times. Since that initial time, I don't hesitate to contact them when I need something as simple as an oil change, to something more complicated. The staff are always friendly, very willing to help me understand what's going on with my car (and not try to "talk over my head" with technical lingo), and never try to talk me into stuff for my car that I don't need. They're a business you can trust with your car. One day, I was sitting in the waiting room--my car was getting an oil change--and an older gentleman had come in to get his oil changed as well. He's barely sat down, when one of the employees came to him and asked him if his car was having problems. The older gentleman stated it wasn't--that he was here to have the oil changed. The employee explained that the oil had just been changed a couple of months ago, and it wasn't yet due for another change. I thought that any other place would have changed the gentleman's oil in his car and not said anything (and charged him for work that he didn't need), but the guys at Leach's were honest about what the car did (or didn't) need. I don't hesitate to call them if I'm having a problem with my car, and would recommend them to anyone (and I have referred quite a few people there). read more

My car had been hit and I took it to the dealership body shop for repairs. It didn't feel right handling wise immediately.. So my adjuster came out and other things were done and added and it still never drove right. Then the same side got hit again a few weeks later. My adjuster suggested someone else since I wasn't satisfied with the dealership body shop repairs. This was Hoffman Ford. I got it back and it still didn't drive right. They determined the torsion bar was put on upside down by the dealership. New torsion bar. Still didn't handle right. They said shocks and struts then. I payed for and replaced them. Still didn't drive right. Finally took it to Leaches and they were the only place to finally adjust the car back to semi-normal. I would recommend them to anyone. Their Mechanics are the best and are honest as well! read more

I went to Leach's beacuse my car had an oil leak from the transer case (big metal thing under the car) and wasnt sure where the leak was or how expensive it was to fix. Expecting the worst I thought the whole shabang needed replaced. I called Leach's in the morning and spoke with a very nice guy, he told me to bring the car by, and it turns out some bolt's need tightend. I now have no more leaks. They are honest and very nice (a family type atmosphere). Needless to say I would recomend this repair shop to anyone and there grandmother. read more

Had an oil leak, they found a source, but when I brought it home with the new part expertly installed, I still had the leak. What I didn't have was $338.44. Not sure what kind of shop doesn't run the engine and check for leaks after they fixed the leak. I guess Leach's is that kind of shop. On top of that, I also got a new noise coming from the power steering that wasn't there before the car went in. I was visiting family from Florida and was recommended to them. Called when I got home to get some kind of satisfaction and instead Tom got a big chuckle out of my situation. I did not. read more

Moving to a new area, it's always hard to find an auto repair shop/mechanic that you feel comfortable going to, especially as a woman. I have been to this shop a few times and have always been treated with respect and if I go in for an oil change, I leave with just an oil change and not other unnecessary "repairs".
