Needless to say, on top of not seeing your vegetative state mom because of shelter in place, the paperwork and process was draining out family. Roxana was honestly the most comforting and informative person I spoke to. She provided a lot of insight on what we can do going forward, the options we had if we wanted to relocate my mom after she's exhausted the medicare piece, which plans were good in the future for my other elder family members, and information on home care and how insurance can "refresh" after that (with a lot of conditions, etc). Honestly, retyping it all out is still too much for me till this day. All I know is the nightmare of our situation and Roxana definitely helped with making sure where to go and how to avoid the disastrous situations going forward. After I got home, I slept for a couple of hours, and when I woke up we chatted--the conversation helped me stay alert and shake off the grogginess from the anesthesia.
