I'm extremely excited for them to open up their second studio in the East. This location is so easy to find, and parking is a breeze. Classes here are generally 45 minutes, and they're slowly integrating beginner and mobility workshops. They're such a great group of beautiful talented trainers who support you through out the entire class. It's like a group personal training session if you've never had the opportunity to experience a Reformer's Pilates class. The trainers really know their anatomy and teach you how to properly engage your muscles with proper form and technique. They're also so wonderful at taking feedback and really want what's best for you, so if you ever have any ideas on things you want to see in the studio, they're all ears. Every one of my friends who I've brought here have been hooked on the intensity, the tribe vibes, and technicality of the variety of classes they offer. They get to know you individually and your strengths & weaknesses to make sure that you're doing what's most optimal for your body, there's always variations that they provide if you have physical limitations. So it's super important to communicate that to your trainer so you can get the most out of your session. The facility itself is beautiful and always so clean, even with all the foot traffic this studio receives. I love that they have toiletries in the restroom for you to freshen up with after class. & the theragun is so therapeutic after the sweat sesh. My son is 4 and is on the spectrum- finding a place he is comfortable at and well cared for has not been easy. We are always greeted by every single person who works there and the staff at the kids club is so incredibly welcoming and you can tell they really care about the kids. My son asks to go to the gym every single day - he has made friends, he is talking more, he is becoming much more independent and it is because of Villa Sports. Stacey has went out of her way to give me updates on my son and I feel like this place is so lucky to have her, and so is every kid that goes here. If I could list every kids club staff member I would because I truly love all of them. If you have kids, this place is for you! No question about it. I was a little intimidated to be working with him initially. I've only had female personal trainers in the past, and I came into that session during a phase of life where I felt disconnected from my body. I felt very vulnerable and exposed to be reaching out for help to a really strong gym guy. During that session, Matt made me feel so comfortable. He was kind and encouraging. We talked about all of my postpartum challenges and he took notes on what mattered most to me and what I wanted from our time together. I really appreciated how he didn't assume what I wanted or needed just from looking at me. I left that session feeling empowered, hopeful, and safe in this space. (Not to mention he fixed my squat in that first session!) Over the last few months, with Matt's programming, I have gained a few pounds of muscle and lost 6% of my body fat. He writes my programs based on my schedule and what I enjoy doing. He's adapted my workouts to support my pelvic floor health which was a very big postpartum concern for me. Any fear I had of bringing up my pelvic floor to a male trainer were squashed by Matt's caring/person-first approach to training. If you are feeling vulnerable, exposed or intimidated, but ready to get some professional support in the gym, I cannot recommend Matt more highly. He's the trainer for you! In addition to my work with Matt, I began taking Reformer Pilates classes once a week with Kate. It is the most fun I've ever had while working that hard! The Reformer machine is such a unique piece of equipment and keeps my brain really interested and engaged in what we are doing. The glide of the carriage and buoyancy of the springs feel so unique to other types of equipment. It's SO fun- horizontal jumping anyone?! But also, so challenging! Luckily for me, Kate is an incredible instructor! Her cues and prompts are spot on and always help me correct my form and activate the right muscle group. She moves throughout the room and provides individualized encouragement and coaching to each of us. Kate also facilitates an awesome vibe in the class! She is fun and friendly and has created a space that feels welcoming and easy to enter into, even as a total beginner. I'm extremely thankful for the team at Villa Sport who have made me feel like I belong while also achieving my goals. 10/10 recommend.

I was a paying member for about a year and a half, and just raved about pure barre; especially this…read morelocation. I had so much trouble losing the covid weight and tried everything to get back into shape. I took a foundations class and just fell in love with the movements and it became my church! However, a few weeks ago, I injured my finger taking a define class (pure barre with cardio and weight training), and split my finger open on the sharp part of the actual bar. There was no apologies or any kindness, "How is your finger:" Is there anything we can do?" It just seemed like they were indicating since I lost so much weigh and was weak that it was my fault; perhaps that had something to do with it, but the way I was treated was inhumanly. Granted, they did give me a free medical freeze, etc. but I think it was to cover their own hind.'' As with any business, I wanted to keep them updated and went into the studio to get WATER, and just got chewed out by the manager stating my presence was bad for business and that I was driving new members and members away. It wasn't like I was standing in front of the business with a cardboard sign begging people to go in because they would get injured. It was ridiculous. Mind you, this is coming from the owner RANDI MAKIN. If I were to have a business that served clients and paying members, it wouldn't be in my worst nightmare I would shun anyone away. I believe in customer service and think that if you treat customers/ members well, word will get out that they would want to join, or at least enjoy the experience with you. I have brought in several friends and they just loved it, but now I would recommend anyone to not even think about joining the Tanasbourne location. I was awestruck by the owners response, just not even being a bit concerned about me, a PAYING MEMBER'S well-being or taking any responsibility and blaming the accident on me. I immediately sent out an email stating my dissatisfaction with the response to Randi's txt (yes, it eas all in a text mind you), and basically asked for any kind of kindness as to the state of my finger. They never offered me any kindness and therefore canceled my membership immediately. The only response I received was "So sad to see you go." I was stunned! Next steps are to contact corporate because I have done all I can do to complain about the ridiculous text. I am in no way try on to drive business away from PB, and maybe all the locations are the same, business, not member focused, but do not go to the Tannasborne location. They didn't even offer to pay my medical bills. The text totally confused me and left me feeling angry and resentful, so I waited a day, just to get any type of recognition or response and I got peanuts.
