So my friends and I were looking for yacht to rent over the weekend. As you never know what you are getting in Miami when you hire anybody for anything! There are a lot of yacht companies out of Miami that try to scam customers but definitely this is not the case with Miami Yacht Access! From the beginning to end Yessenia and Eduardo were amazing! She was ultimately extremely helpful with all the arrangements such a sweetheart. She is an absolute superstar who made herself available at any time to answer my questions and went above and beyond many times to ensure everything went smoothly with the charter. The booking was effortless and highly professional. Competitive pricing and top notch service. All in all, we had a memorable experience, one for the books! This company delivered everything they promised and much more. In addition, they can help you with any questions or concern you might need as they are trilingual; English, Spanish and Portuguese! We used a Ferretti 92 and wow it was one of the best times of our lives! Our captain, first mate, crew and chefs took care of us from the moment we got up to the moment we went to bed. We were extra spoiled to say the least! The boat was beautiful, super clean, modern decoration and very well maintained. They definitely delivered 5 Stars! Cruise lines currently include Azamara, Carnival, Celebrity, Crystal, Cunard, Explora, Holland, Hurtigruten, MSC, Norwegian, Oceania, P&O, Ponant, Princess, Regent Seven Seas, Royal Caribbean, Seabourn, Virgin, and others. I think that this port has eight cruise terminals. My husband and I have been cruise passengers in this port. Most recently, in March 2026, we sailed on a Norwegian ship from terminal B to several countries. Our ride-share driver got angry at the amount of traffic, but obviously thousands of passengers were arriving at the same time. My husband and I went through security fairly quickly, but we had a sort of long wait to board the cruise ship. Later we went through U.S. Customs in a reasonable time.

The first thing that stands out is how organized everything is. With the amount of people moving through there, you'd expect it to feel chaotic, but it actually runs pretty smooth. Checking in and getting through the process is fairly straightforward. Lines move, staff directs you where you need to go, and before you know it, you're on your way. The location itself adds to everything. Sitting at the port before you depart is actually one of the best parts. You can just watch the city move. Boats going by, cars, people, everything just flowing. It's a really cool vibe. Last time I was there, I watched a guy land a seaplane right on the water, then take off again flying through the skyline with all the buildings in the background. That was one of those moments where you just sit back like... yeah, this is different. Definitely the kind of stuff I'm trying to be on when I grow up...lol. It can get busy depending on timing, so you'll want to give yourself a little extra time just in case, but nothing that feels out of control. Staff is helpful and keeps things moving, which makes a big difference when you're dealing with crowds. Overall, it's a good experience. Efficient, organized, and a smooth way to kick off a trip.

Cruise Virgin if you do not want to hear or see children! Was supposed to cruise Meraviglia for my son's 21st bday but the pandemic hit. Took us 2 years to get our money back from that crazy! Then I booked the family all rooms in the Yacht Club for Xmas one year. Was told by my concierge at the time (who unbeknownst to me was quitting his job) and he told me 120 days out or more was a refundable cancellation. Well guess what ppl-it's not! I didn't read my papers b cuz I trusted his word-so I got screwed out of $1200 in deposits b cuz we had to cancel. I still cruised MSC. Still said I'd take my son on MSC. Decided to go Yacht Club this time. WORLD AMERICA! Ship is beautiful. Staff is friendly-our butler was overworked. He had 3 jobs and was never available to help us when we called. Twice we actually reached him and he said call the concierge. My yacht club bedding had a hole in it and had a yellow color to it in spots. For $11k I do not think you should see that kind of linen. I couldn't charge my wheelchair b cuz u need an adapter to go to a US plug. That wasn't on my paperwork. That became a "thing". Day 2 I saw a $140 charge for 2 of the 3 of us. The 3rd day all 3 of us had it. So that ruined day 3 for me b cuz I also didn't see that on my paperwork. $420 a day for gratuities and we can't get any service! ????Found out that was an error. It's only one time and no option to opt out of that. Couldn't use the pool cuz there were kids jumping in it. Which also is not Ada friendly without the use of the lift! No walk in steps-just 2 ladders which u can barely hold onto with wet hands! That pool is also like swimming in a metal rectangle pan from a heated prep line! Very small - especially with kids jumping in it! My son was denied service at lunch dressed in his white outfit b cuz he had no sleeves by day. But lots of young boys running around in speedos. Girls of all ages with bikinis that barely cover their parts and a netted something over it. But my son's sleeveless white shirt and white linen pants are not acceptable for lunch!???! Did I mention, LOTS OF KIDS IN THE YACHT CLUB ALSO! (That wasn't on my paperwork either)! But there is! Must fall under the whole kids sale free thing! That should not occur! There's also teen kids that discover the pool door opens and lets them in and they can use the stairs to go between floors of the Yacht Club! Saw them order drinks and snacks never showing a card and then they went and chilled on the pool deck. I did say - Never showing a card, right!? We wanted to eat lunch in air conditioning so we ate in the lounge one day. The next time, we were asked to sit in a corner and asked to move to said corner to eat. A tribe of children came in and sat out by the window where we were and they were allowed to EAT, climb all over the furniture, put their hands all over the windows and mess with the lights while their parents slept on a sofa! Guess we are the wrong nationality!? Our eating was more disruptive than that?! Still trying to understand these things. Only American music was heard on 70-80's night. When u ask the DJ to play some American music - he says "like what"?!!!? Food is still just as tasteless as the others and getting food or drink to your room is inconsistent. But omg! They nail pizza! By inconsistent I mean, from where or when, etc when ordering. If you are lucky your drinks won't take an hour to arrive and will still have ice in them. I did not check out the casino b cuz it looked small and my hubby said "no new games"! It's a new ship! Y are there no new games!?????! We managed to get the only uncovered balcony on the row! Day 2 I was sitting on the balcony to have cleaning water from above brushed overboard onto my head! The next morning I woke to see a card under my door about balcony cleaning that day. Lolol! Like I didn't know that was coming! The next day we don't take off until 6:30 pm from our room. At 9:40 pm we return to find an invitation to a bourbon and chocolate tasting at 8 pm-that evening, which obviously had already occurred. Why did they not slip that under my door during the day so I could plan that in my schedule!???? Our phone only works on speaker and they can barely understand us. We have complained about that since day 1. Yesterday, they said we did not know that! Lolol. We literally call 3-5 times daily and go thru the whole "we can't hear u" game. The movie on demand on tv has never worked. There are 39 channels of nothing!

From entertainment, to the bars, kids clubs, arcades, food, clubs, and so much more! From the modern MSC port of Miami to this iconic boat everything was a splendid experience. The customer service from the cleaning staff to the service at the restaurants everyone was very helpful and friendly. Don't get me started on the food! Everything was delicious and there was nothing I can say tasted bad or not cooked properly in my opinion. So much to do and I would definitely go in again without a doubt. This was our anniversary trip and we loved it so much. Highly recommend to anyone!

My earliest reference to Miami Beach was as a kid watching the Jakie Gleason show. It was announced every show that ,it was broadcast from beautiful Miami Beach. That was enough to " book mark" it in my mind. Then in 1977 on my way back from a scuba trip in the Keys,I drove up Collins Ave from South Beach all the way up to Bal Harbor. It was a shocking sight most of the way. Lined with high rises, obsolete hotels and bus stop benches full of generations of elderly that had retired and been ravaged by the then raging inflation. Yes boys and girls,if you think inflation is bad now it's nothing compared to the late 70s and early 80s . As those generations left us and Miami in general and Miami Beach in particular reached economic obsolescence,the real estate deveopers moved in and the gentrification and renewal began. What a job they've done. Now, development is always controversial for100s of reasons not the least of which is environmental concerns. As I've returned to the Miami area over the years it amazes me how dense it's become. The first time I returned to the South Beach area was 1998. The restoration of the old art deco hotel movement was in high gear, I felt like a million bucks. The boutique hotel I stayed in was fantastic, with a view from the second floor window ( that opened) onto the busy avenue below and beach beyond. The development continued and it wasn't until almost 15 years later that I returned. Overall development was now completed,Miami Beach was again a desirable destination and I was back! My intentions are to return at least one more time. It's what's great about our country. We are constantly renewing,sharing cultures and looking forward to the future. I highly recommend you... Go!

I can't explain it, you just have to go and see and feel it for yourself! It is a lot of fun. That's why it is a #1 tourist spot. The one disappointing thing is that in June-Oct, like right now, the Sargassum seaweed floats in and settles on the beach. It's a nuisance when it washes ashore, it decomposes, releasing hydrogen sulfide gas, which causes a strong "rotten egg" smell. While the seaweed itself is not harmful, it can cause skin irritation or rashes due to small sea creatures, such as jellyfish larvae, that live in it. Locals stay away from it. Just be aware.

The last two dive trips that we have done with them were great and we had a wonderful time. I have done approximately 20 dives with this company. However, this last time the guides were so disconnected. Michael and Dololly in the shop were so helpful but as soon as we got on the boat we were basically on our own. The only person that was even remotely helpful was Marco, who we had dove with before. He seemed to be the only guide that knew how to man the boat. Riley was absolutely clueless and rude. She was the guide that stayed on the boat to help us on/off the boat and while my mother was trying to get back on, she let go of her without warning leading to her falling and gashing open her leg. When I asked my mom what happened to her leg Riley snidely commented well she fell on the boat. Then while she was helping me get on the boat she grabbed my air gauge causing me to almost fall as well. One of the guides, didn't catch his name, was drinking alcohol on the boat before and after the dive while certifying a 10 year old boy. I don't understand how this is allowed. Furthermore, our guide left us in the middle of the dive. He eventually showed up but did not seem able to navigate under water as the previous guides had. Which was very nerve wracking considering the currents we were moving into. He also did not help with getting on and off of the boat for the dives. He was very disengaged with our group and did not seem to want to even be a guide. Overall, a bad experience sadly as we have enjoyed our previous trips with them. It seems their guides have become much less knowledgeable and supportive than they used to be. Most dive guides are personable and want to share their dive knowledge, however this group seems to be more about just getting it done.

We booked Miami Del Mar Charters with some friends that were visiting from out of town last weekend…read moreand we had a blast! The staff was very friendly, and knowledgeable, and went above and beyond during the entire charter. The captain is very experienced and he was very accomodating. The boat was in great condition, it felt like we were on a brand new boat as it was one of the cleanest boats I have ever been on. I highly recommend this charter company to anyone that wants to have a good time on the water in Miami!
