My central air conditioning stopped blowing cold air last night. As you can imagine, things got…read moreuncomfertable by mid-day today. It being a weekend, I needed to find a good reliable HVAC technician fast so my house would remain at a reasonable temperature. I am no stranger to extreme discomforts, either physical or emotional. That said, I did not want my dog to suffer. Unfortunately for him, I have raised him with a high degree of comfort, and a hot house would not do for this fragile creature (he's not really, I'm being hyperbolic). In any event, Just Better HVAC came to our rescue. After calling about 10 HVAC services with no success on a Sunday morning, they were here for us when we needed them. David, the technician and company owner, was at my house in less than an hour after calling. Fixed the unit by replacing the dual capacitor in no time. He was a super good dude as well! Mini crisis averted. Now I can go on with my day as originally planned. First world problems, ya know!

I can see why I was referred their way. They showed up with a whole crew who were all very polite and engaged. They came and got our unit going and explained to us our options. As explained we knew it was going to be a temporary fix till the next morning. As mentioned they showed up the exact time when they said they were going to be here ( I personally am a strong believer in being punctual) so them being here on time was huge win in itself. As promised they went above and beyond and completed the task with excellent craftsmanship and execution. After completion they walked me through everything and the last thing they did was hand me my paperwork with Manual and they thanked me. I have had nothing but trouble with my HVAC system for the last 6 years. So I've seen quit a few. When our HVAC blower motor decided to take a dive, he quickly diagnosed the situation and explained the options I was faced with. He noticed little things within my system and gave me some tips on how to address them. Going forward I will be using Jonsair for yearly maintenance and any other issues that may arise. Update, the next day the AC stopped working due to a drain clog, he quickly fixed that issue as well.

He did show up with the job start and made sure my requests were fulfilled. A few days later I went into the attic when completed. There was a nice thick and smooth "snowfall" over the entire attic. I was impressed. His son, who works for him, covered the catwalks too. That was okay since I knew where they are. I may clear them at a later time. It was like walking through a winter wonderland with all the white fluffiness. However, not great for making snow angels. LOL! Frank was the ONLY ONE who quickly reached out to me with an estimate after contacting three others. The others NEVER returned anything! Frank was busy since I did see his appointment book. It was a week later when two of his experienced employees arrived with a huge utility trailer. They were friendly, clean, and organized as well. The price of insulation has shot up. However, once it is done it is done. It will pay for itself in a short amount of time. Our house now feels like it is at a constant temperature throughout. I can't wait to see what any cold weather will be like. The attic is quieter as well. We only had 4-6" previously. Now, we are up to CODE REQUIREMENTS as Frank emphasis.

The only issue I had was the that their answering service did not relay my message, so I had to call back the next day to set the appointment. I cannot vouch for their other plumbers, but JD is great and I will use him for any job that I can't handle.
