It being a weekend, I needed to find a good reliable HVAC technician fast so my house would remain at a reasonable temperature. I am no stranger to extreme discomforts, either physical or emotional. That said, I did not want my dog to suffer. Unfortunately for him, I have raised him with a high degree of comfort, and a hot house would not do for this fragile creature (he's not really, I'm being hyperbolic). In any event, Just Better HVAC came to our rescue. After calling about 10 HVAC services with no success on a Sunday morning, they were here for us when we needed them. David, the technician and company owner, was at my house in less than an hour after calling. Fixed the unit by replacing the dual capacitor in no time. He was a super good dude as well! Mini crisis averted. Now I can go on with my day as originally planned. First world problems, ya know!

As explained we knew it was going to be a temporary fix till the next morning. As mentioned they showed up the exact time when they said they were going to be here ( I personally am a strong believer in being punctual) so them being here on time was huge win in itself. As promised they went above and beyond and completed the task with excellent craftsmanship and execution. After completion they walked me through everything and the last thing they did was hand me my paperwork with Manual and they thanked me. I have had nothing but trouble with my HVAC system for the last 6 years. So I've seen quit a few. When our HVAC blower motor decided to take a dive, he quickly diagnosed the situation and explained the options I was faced with. He noticed little things within my system and gave me some tips on how to address them. Going forward I will be using Jonsair for yearly maintenance and any other issues that may arise. He did show up with the job start and made sure my requests were fulfilled. A few days later I went into the attic when completed. There was a nice thick and smooth "snowfall" over the entire attic. I was impressed. His son, who works for him, covered the catwalks too. That was okay since I knew where they are. I may clear them at a later time. It was like walking through a winter wonderland with all the white fluffiness. However, not great for making snow angels. LOL! Frank was the ONLY ONE who quickly reached out to me with an estimate after contacting three others. The others NEVER returned anything! Frank was busy since I did see his appointment book. It was a week later when two of his experienced employees arrived with a huge utility trailer. They were friendly, clean, and organized as well. The price of insulation has shot up. However, once it is done it is done. It will pay for itself in a short amount of time. Our house now feels like it is at a constant temperature throughout. I can't wait to see what any cold weather will be like. The attic is quieter as well. We only had 4-6" previously. Now, we are up to CODE REQUIREMENTS as Frank emphasis.

I cannot vouch for their other plumbers, but JD is great and I will use him for any job that I can't handle.

I contacted American Appliance Repair Corpus for of my whirlpool icemaker. They sent two men out…read moreand said they could service it and make it work. it worked for a couple of weeks and then stopped working. I contacted them and they ordered a new icemaker and sent me a written quote for its installation. I also had to pay $169 upfront for the icemaker. One hour before they were to arrive, they called and said they had made a mistake and it wasn't going to be a $50 install but a $225 install. Of that amount it had to be paid before they would install it. this is after we had already paid them over $200 to service the existing icemaker. We debated the issue and they would not change their mind. One of the technicians hung his over our bar top and mysteriously my 45 year pin for the Masonic Lodge, a commemorative pocket knife, came up missing. The knife stays in the exact same place every time it is not in use The technicians left after they demanded that we pay cash only. The technicians left the new icemaker and we had a reputable company come out yesterday and said the unit had not been serviced correctly and that there was a burned connector which should have been easily noticed if it had been serviced properly We have left multiple messages for the American Appliance Repair to call us back, but they have failed to do so I would not recommend this company to anyone they advertise this company as a Christian philosophy, but that is far from the truth

Called today at 11:43 was told they would pull file and call me back at 3 I called them and was told they don't work weekends I explained I can not do Monday only weekends. I asked how I could get my money back since nothing they did worked and he told me that would not happen. The convo did not go well, I hung up and he called me back hitting the record button stating how disrespectful I was to him. My husband got on the line asking for this to start over and the person on the phone kept insisting we had threatened him.

Total Assurance is a top notch company. I had be having unusual issues with my current a/c for quite some time. My bill kept going up and up. At certain times of the year the outside fan would kick on but the inside unit would not. The humidity inside my house was warping my blinds and collecting underneath my lpv tiles causing them to come loose. I had three different a/c companies come out. No one could diagnose the problem. I did some online research myself to try and understand what was going on. It helped shed some light on what some of the problems might be. Time went by and one night I noticed water coming out on the floor around the ac return vent. The line was plugged but I had no inside clean out plug So I went outside to the line and got it flowing a little with a coat hanger. I was referred to Total Assurance A/C by a contractor. Kyle came out that night and put a clean out plug on the inside Drain line and checked the unit over inside and out. He began telling and showing me all the things that he observed that were not right with my unit. Finally someone could tell me what was wrong with my a/c. I knew he was telling me the truth because it lined up the research I had done online. Kyle got me out of a bind that night and provided me with options going forward. Having a new two stage unit installed was the best option for my home considering all the issues I was experiencing and would continue to experience with my current unit. Bianca in the office was a great communicator and coordinator. My new unit was ordered and installed within two weeks. The two young men who installed it did exactly what they said they were going to do and visibly worked great together as a team. Kyle comes out every six months for two years for the preventative maintenance that was included in the contract. He is always very thorough. Putting my trust in Kyle's diagnosis and Total Assurance's product and staff was a winner for me. I'm a year in with the new unit and couldn't be more pleased. No issues whatsoever and my bill has gone down between 100-150 dollars. Great company!!! read more

I could tell the night before that something was going wrong with the blower motor in my ceiling. It had a vibrating noise that I had not heard before. I called Total Assurance AC Heating, and much to my surprise. they were their in at the front door within 2 hours on Saturday. The technician introduced himself (Josh) and he got to work right away. Josh had fantastic customer service skills and explained everything. He put me at ease. He said he could get the OEM blower motor within a couple of days or he had a universal in the truck that he could install that same day, and it was the lower cost option. I chose the universal motor. He took my blower out to his truck, inspected the fins, and cleaned everything up. The best thing was is that it was Saturday and I thought I was going to get the weekend rate and braced my self for the worst. However, that was not the case. The whole job was a a lot under what I thought it would be. I found it to be a great deal. I am very appreciative to the way the whole experience went down. They explained everything, were very knowledgeable They are now my new AC support. read more

I tried filing through my home warranty when my AC unit stopped working, and after waiting 4 days in a sweltering house, the warranty company called me the day of the appointment and cancelled due to personal issues with the technician. I was going to have to wait another 5 days for an appointment. Enter Annaville AC. We called at 1pm and they gave us a same day appointment and a time frame of when to expect them to arrive, within hours. They arrived on time, calling 10 minutes prior to showing up. Within 30 minutes, I was running again and the cost of the visit with parts wasn't much more than my deductible would've been with the home warranty. Very happy customer. I don't hesitate to recommend them and I'll definitely call for any further ac issues.

I had removed all of the existing ductwork, so I was expecting the quote to be very expensive. The Foreman came to give the estimate. He agreed I needed new a/c but said the existing furnace was not very old and could be saved. He could easily have sold me a new furnace, but he was honest and that saved me a ton of money. The quote for the a/c unit, condenser, and ductwork was very reasonable. They sent over the installers as soon as I was ready for them. The two young men doing the work were so nice to work with. They explained everything they were doing, and answered all of my questions. Their work was incredibly neat. The existing furnace looks brand new and the new ductwork is so clean looking and neatly installed. It looks amazing. I am extremely happy with the results and will definitely call Omega for my future HVAC needs.
