I was given a gift card for a one hour message by my fiance to Absolute Body Balance for my birthday. I waited to use the gift card until I was in some real pain, and being a carpenter their are times that my body is in real pain. Even knowing I have been to other message therapist in the past without any real results from the messages. I chose to wait with hope that just maybe this time it would be different. I'm being completely honest when I say this.... It was worth the wait, and I finally found someone who can give immediate results to body pain. My message was scheduled at random with no particular message therapist in mind. I was blessed by the hands of Megan. Megan was, and is amazing at what she does with results appearing while laying on the bed. I have been back to see Megan one more time since the first time, and I have three more scheduled at this time. I found a (my) message therapist that is amazing at what she does. Megan has a very unique way about how she gives the message, and its obvious she paid attention while going to school to become a message therapist. My shoulder muscle was out of place, and partially dislocated, as well as my hip. Prior to getting off the bed the first time I could feel that all of my muscles, and bones were back where they belonged thanks to Megan. I'm looking forward to being a regular customer of Megan's from here on out. Absolute Body Balance is an ABSOLUTE winner! From the initial contact with the business to the final strokes of the massage, everything flowed smoothly. First, I filled out a form and was asked questions which helped the therapist identify the type of massage that would most benefit me. Of course, my imput was also solicited on what type of massage I would like and what I was hoping to experience during, and as a result of, the massage. The therapist's objective was to provide a massage that was both enjoyable and beneficial. The massage environment is very friendly and comforting. Everyone I know who goes to see Kim at Absolute, comes away feeling rejuvenated. I have had trauma to my back caused by a car accident, which exascerbated the small amount of scoliosis in my spine. When I went to see Kim, she knew her work was cut out for her. My entire back is a series of big knots. Kim almost crawled onto the table to free up my knots! Before I dragged my happy body out of her office, she explained to me in detail what I needed to do going forward in order to relieve some of my pain. This was our second visit as we live in another part of the state, and don't get to Raleigh often. I really cannot compliment the staff here enough. We were pleased with both therapist last time, and this time the treatment was stellar. My husband and I both are long time fans of therapeutic massage, but often find less than optimal treatments when travelling. This place, make me wish I lived in Raleigh. We both experienced talented therapists, who really know what deep tissue is all about, and will back off if they can tell it is too deep for you. Absolute Body Balance is a really good place to go for that all over personal therapy massage. I have issues with my neck, back and shoulders from years of playing sports and now just a little aging. Michelle Reynolds is just the very best. I find that I have some blood flow issues in my hands and arms from issues with my neck and shoulder area. She is able to really get the blood flowing and return feeling to my fingers, hands and arms. She was able to get to know my exact issues and offer a comprehensive plan to help me feel my best. I love this place. I've been seeing Alicia for over a year. She's great! I had a longstanding painful knot in my shoulder that my previous massage therapist had not been able to resolve- after one session with Alicia I was much better and after three the pain was totally gone. I visited Alicia Miller last year around six times to get massages to help with persistent and very painful tendonitis and carpal tunnel in my wrists and arms. The massage seemed to make a huge difference by working out painful tight spots (both knots I knew about and ones I didn't know were there) and increasing circulation.
