they canceled my appointment 20 min before it was suppose to start. No apology. Just a professional don't come. this place sends a million text saying if you cancel they will charge you 50 dollars. funny how that works. I walk in later in the day to reschedule. they front desk lady had one of the nastiest attitudes. had to ask her multiple times about availability as she literally just sat there and stared. rolled her eyes multiple times. she shouldn't be allowed to deal with the general public. do not come here. it's god awful. there are way too many options for dentist offices for a front desk lady to be acting like that. read more

This place is the best to get work on your teeth done! For starters everyone in there is so unbelievably nice and kind that it makes it kind of fun to be there. The work they do is from my experience safe and you feel so when they are operating on you. Usually when I go to other dentists I leave with pain but here I did not. Dr. Singh in particular does great work and I never leave unsatisfied! I come here for all types of things from cleanings to cosmetic procedures. I love this place and would recommend! read more

Started with Absolute Dental in 2024 with Dr Singh. I had an acoustic neuroma which had been treated with gammaknife surgery years ago which has been proven by NBIS to causing teeth to crack and break. Had some problems with my crowns which adjusted when I complained. Changed the bite in my mouth. this year I had two more molars break while in Florida. Had appt on 2/6 and after exam new appt to start crown on 2/11. Have been suffering with nausea, pain, vomiting since temporary put in. Some days I can hardly open mouth to get spoon in for my yogurt, jello, pudding I am forced on. Have sickening taste in my mouth and my mouth is also sore. I vomit from taste if my tongue touches this tooth. Called about insurance problem as they had not submitted all required. Also asked if crown came in and explained how I was sick. Was told crowns take two weeks. Told have to wait till my appointment on February 4th which is actually three weeks. Now whenever I call no one answers and when I click 1 on phone to leave message it doesn't work. Yesterday I received a card saying was due for my dental checkup on Sunday February 23. I called several times and no one answered today February 22nd and unable to even leave a message. An assistant started my temporary crown for Dr Singh which she had to fix by taking it in and out of my mouth more than one dozen times. It is rough to feel by my mouth, feels like there is space between tooth and gum and have to hold my mouth I'm certain way as not to get severe pain. Dr did make a few adjustments as to what assistant had done before saying I was done. If you touch where needle went in to numb my mouth I get pain and then can hardly open my mouth. I need second broken tooth on right side done. I don't think I will be returning for that one. I don't think any of my crowns were made well especially the bottom one from last year is flat. NEVER BEEN IN SUCH PAIN. read more

I visited this dentist earlier this year and had a great experience. The fact that I can schedule appointments online is great. I love the convenience and online tools they offer. I have had pain in my jaw for years and my old dentist made me a nightguard. It worked but is uncomfortable so I stopped wearing it. Dr. Singh recommended Botox injections to help and my oh my, it's been a game changer. I no longer wake up with jaw pain because I am not grinding my teeth at night anymore. read more

I made an appointment with absolute dental in Mokena. My husband actually gave good reviews so I decided that most of the time if someone shares their personal experiences that I would be interested in making an appointment. I actually made the appointment, and the young lady who answered the phone including Mary in the background stated to me that they did not accept my insurance. (Very Abruptly) Mind you Absolute, had already verified my insurance company and they were in my net work. So I received another phone call stating that I would have to pay $150 for a cleaning. I was a little confused because they were in network. I decided to speak to the office manager by the name of Mary. She was extremely rude, unprofessional, and stated that my insurance was not in network, better yet she explained that they no longer take Dental Max. Which is an Aetna subsidiary. Based on her unprofessionalism, I had the supervisor from my insurance company speak with the individual and she still was rude and stated that she talked over me to the supervisor from Aetna.. as a result, I made a decision that I no longer felt comfortable coming to the office based on the managers behavior and thus far has been reported by my insurance company and I'm looking forward to them rectifying the error because Mary explained that they no longer take my insurance, but was still registered as in network with Dental Max subsidiary of Aetna, but they never canceled with the insurance company so actually she (Mary said they canceled but there was no documentation to state that. I'm also going to file a complaint with the dentistry board. Even if the office resolved the issue, I don't feel comfortable going there based on the poor customer service I received from the office manager,including bad tone noticeable by Aetna Supervisor This causes for further investigation because the office verified my insurance prior to my appointment date for July. Verification was approved and company still wanted me to pay 150.00. Beware of Mary's rules and I hope this will not affect the excellent service my husband received. This review is definitely for new Patients and possibly existing patients. This experience was so unnecessary and I have an extremely demand that Absolute take a look at who they have as an Office Manager who shows no compassion, rude and very unprofessional. read more

I've gone here a couple of times so far for routine cleanings. I've found them pretty good for that - I never have to wait long, am in and out pretty quickly, and the front desk staff is courteous and helpful. I haven't been impressed with their demonstration of caring, or "bedside manner" so to speak. I was given a boilerplate recommendation for wisdom tooth removal, and the dentist either hasn't noticed or hasn't cared to mention anything about my prior dental work (which may need mentioning). They offer a pretty good membership-style plan for those who don't have dental insurance, which is a plus. read more

it is really sad that I have to give a star for this place, they dont even deserve the one star. I visited this place a couple years ago to do some fillings and decided to never come back because of the bad treatment we received back then and the poor dental experience their doctors had. However, my wife and I just bough a house in the area so we thought we would give this place a second chance considering that it is close to us and hoping that they learned and hired new staff. AGAIN, I just feel so dumb for making the same mistake once more. these people are very unprofessional, have no manners, desrespectful, never prepared for their patients and . they have two ladies at the front desk that treat people like they are granting charity or something. I completely understand if you are not happy with your job or life or whatever but YOU HAVE TO BE NICE TO PEOPLE. Not to mention, even with all those honest reviews, management never commented or explained their position, which makes all those reviews true. If I owned that place, first thing I would do make it better is fire people who are the face of this business and making it undesirable. Even though we provided them with the insurance information over the phone and they told us it was approved but they still denied it. Before the appointment for my two year old, we have been calling for TWO WEEKS, no answer and nobody calling back and their excuse is "our phone has been down". why the heck are you open then? I believe that places like this are an insult to dentistry and good dentists AND patients. it is up to you but I would NEVER go there again or let a friend or family go there. If I could have given them 0 stars I would have! I waited 2 months for an appointment with an orthodontist. Showed up and was told the orthodontist switched their days. I did not receive any notification and waited in the office for a while before being told there was no orthodontist in that day! We had many questions about a dental issue that my daughter was having and they took the time to put us at ease. These people tried to tell me that I had 15 cavities! For real? Is that even humanly possible??? Going to get a 2nd opinion.

I am so unhappy with this office, I have been on the phone with my insurance co for about an hour now. The dental office told me I needed to replace my crown which I did and then a few months later they told me I needed to replace another crown and they again, gave me the form stating that they contacted my insurance and this would be my out of pocket expense. I had them put on the new crown and like 4 1/2 -5 mos later I get a bill for a past due amount of 75.00. When I called and spoke to Trixie who has been represented to me to be the office manager she blamed my insurance co and said they agreed on one price and then said they would not pay that amount so I had to pay the difference. I immediately called the insurance co who told me that is not what happened that they quoted me the price for a metal crown and then put on another type more expensive crown and that is why the price changed. When I relayed the information to Trixie she said she would speak to the owner and get back to me. That was approximately 3 mos ago and I have not heard back from her even after numerous attempts of calling and leaving a message for her. I just called back my insurance co and asked that they do an investigation because I feel if this was an honest mistake they would be trying to fix it. I thought that Dr. Singh did a good job I even brought my family member to them. But I believe there is something going on behind the scenes and for that reason I would not recommend them. They go above and beyond to make my family and I comfortable during appointments that work around our schedule. They're new office manager is so personable and congenial. She went out of her way to call me and get in touch personally with me to discuss my family's dental situation. Something I really appreciate in today's high tech world is human interaction. I honestly can't believe the reviews that I just read, as they were so negative. I have had only the BEST experience at Absolut Dental. The front desk administrators are nice and friendly. The dental assistants are kind, as well! And I can't say enough good things about Dr. Singh. My whole family sees her for our yearly cleanings. But recently, my mother needed some dental work. She hates dentists!!! So the entire staff had their work cut out for them, when my mom walked in. All I can say, is now my mom loves Dr. Singh! The first visit was difficult, my mom had so much fear. But the entire staff was so patient and kind, that my mom has overcome a lifelong fear of dentists! It's hard for me to believe but I was at every appointment and couldn't believe the way they embraced my mom and treated her with such compassion. I do know that Absolut Dental is under new management. I think this could explain the drastic difference in the experience I had versus the other reviews. read more

The staff is absolutely horrible!!! Ruuuude! My first visit was so uncomfortable, but I gave them a chance, thinking maybe it was just a bad day. Prior approval from my insurance was needed (for a deep cleaning), made an appointment for 2 weeks out, approval had not been requested let alone approved!
