What a bunch of B.S. They came to our senior building for a marketing event. I showed her my insurance, told her it was Medicaid, and was assured it was covered. After the exams and x-rays, they then tell me that only the exam and x-ray were covered none of the fillings would be, and they would cost over $200 each!! Be warned. Horrible was referred by a friend at work. And after I get this tooth pulled I will NOT be coming back. I was originally SCHEDULED an appointment to get a broken tooth extracted. I come the day of my appointment 10 minutes early to find out the company or this particular location had a security breach.... You guys just opened this location not too long ago so how?! Anyways I was hesitant to reschedule because of this incident...... as I should've kept to my 1st judgement. I am here again to get this prolonged tooth pulled. My insurance covered most of it. I pay and wait to be taken back. NOW all of a sudden AFTER I pay, the original dentist isn't here at my twice scheduled appointment and I cannot be refunded (it is used as a credit) I told the receptionist I have another appointment at 10am way in summerlin and the only reason I scheduled an 8am appointment was to get this out the way. Now it's looking like I have to come back a 3rd time because the new dentist will be arriving a "little" late. Did I forget to mention the receptionist saying I can just come back Monday like I don't have work. So now my "credit" is sitting with them until I schedule to get this tooth pulled. Who wants to walk around public like this?! So unprofessional, never organized since my first visit, I'm already seeing new staff. I been coming here for a couple of months to fix my teeth. I swear this location has the worst communication. First off, they rarely even answer their phones. Took me two days to get a hold of someone to confirm an appt. When I come in for my appt Im told that I have a balance on my account and I need to pay it to be seen. This upset me so much because the person that confirmed the appt with me was the same person that told me about my balance when I came in. Why wasn't this told to me previously? It's always the same girl that has the worst communication. This is mot the first time she told me one thing and then I arrive at my appt and it's another thing. This is so frustrating. You guys need to pay attention to detail. I paid my balance that no one told me about until I got there. I finally saw the dentist, then the same front office girl comes to me to tell me that my insurance is saying that the dentist that is seeing me is no longer in network. WTH! I am not understanding why insurance is not being verified prior to the appts. I left work early to get there at my scheduled time. It was such a waste of my time. It's ridiculous on how unprofessional this place is. You guys really need to come up with a protocol to avoid all of this. I will never come back here even if my insurance is in network. Had a new patient appointment at 2:00pm, I did all my paperwork on my phone before I arrived. They didn't call me back until after 3pm. MULTIPLE people walked in and checked in after me and they still called them first. They have a printed paper on the wall saying they might not call in order so why even set appointments if I'm not going to be called in a timely manner. First off Dr. Cortes and the Staff are AMAZING. I have had no teeth in over a decade, with 2 sets of dentures that were made by other dentist incorrectly. Dr. Cortes and the rest of the staff took there time, treated me like family, was very professional and courtes. after 1 month of seeing them, I actual have teeth that fit great, look great, and I am actually able to function with them...THANK DR CORTES FOR GIVING ME MY SMILE BACK :-). I have been so pleased and impressed with the staff at this location, i now even bring all my kids and have her seen them as well. This location is always clean some what busy in the lobby area but there is quite a few seats. Customer Service is always pretty good once you get to the back the area is fairly clean and organized. All the workers are doing something the doctor is nice and she looks at your teeth tells you what she thinks, what is left on your program and then you make your next appointment and that's it super easy. read more

Bunch of crooks. They demand payment before they can treat you because according to them, the insurance doesn't always pay what they quote you. They promised they would refund your balance as soon as they receive the payment from the insurance...that's all a lie! My insurance paid them by electronic funds transfer on July 15, 2024. As of today, it's been almost 6 weeks and I'm still waiting for my refund. I've called the billing office, spoke to the office manager and they all claim they are working to help me get my refund. Let me start by saying this was the worst dental visit yet. I gave a two star because the environment was nice. I walked in around 4pm. Apparently I was the last patient of the day and they let it be known that I was. The place had very dim lighting. The front office lady wasn't personable. She sounded like a machine and could care less who you are. Her tone was everything. I get that people get tired through work but do your best not to show that to others while at work. The lady that took me back, pretty much stood in the doorway while I was coming in. Told me to wash my hands and sit down. Told me we are doing X-rays, asked me if I could be pregnant I said no. If anyone knows getting X-rays with that thing in your mouth hurt!! She also showed that she truly did not care about anything. It was a open/close 20x And follow me. I do not like that kind of treatment. I view it as rude and uncaring. It was so quiet in there. I felt like it was if a classroom got in trouble and no one made a peep. It was kind of awkward too. The doctor took a look for 30seconds said I had 7 small cavities. Pointed to them and said okay.. The next one came in dental hygienist, she was the sweetest of them all. Said I didn't need a hardcore cleaning and asked if I wanted to get it done today. I said no thanks because it seems like everyone is ready to get out of here. She said I can do it if one other person stays. I said no don't worry it's okay, I have to get some cavities filled next time so I'll take care of it then. She said okay no problem that would prolly work better. The other lady made a quick remark "yeah" so you can get it all done at once. Now I have a specific insurance that apparently doesn't cover any cavity fills or cleaning. I was giving a pamphlet with original prices and discounted prices if I paid $100 to the clinic I would get discounts. I am so confused.... I won't be going back, that's what I do know. read more

Absolute Dental has made several mistakes during my treatment for the past year and my insurance plan refuses to pay for them. They have failed to provide necessary documents: such as, radiographs, intraoral photos and probe charts, so that the claims could get paid. They have also failed to work within my dental plan regarding the timing of procedures and have performed services too soon, leading to denied claims. The experience I've had at this company is an experience I never want to go through ever again. I needed to get my wisdom teeth removed so my primary office on 3880 lake mead recommended me to this location. Both receptionists at lake mead told me my insurance approved to get my wisdom teeth taken out. Before I needed to get my wisdom teeth removed, I needed a deep clean. My insurance denied the cleaning so I had to pay over 1,000 out of pocket with money I didn't have. The receptionist told me I could get care credit (a credit card) free of interest charge for one year. This morning I woke up to make a payment and I was charged $2.09 for interest and $18 for a deposit fee. It's not that expensive but the fact the receptionist lied about the interest charge and did not inform me about an security deposit fee. The credit card is very pointless because it does in fact charge for interest right away and a "deposit fee" even though I don't know what that is. I already did a balance transfer to another card so I won't be paying more in interest in the long run. Second, my appointment for my wisdom teeth was on 6/30 at 8:30am at this location 4250. 2 minutes before I was suppose to go in for my appointment, the receptionist called me to the front desk saying they need to cancel my appointment because my insurance denied my whole treatment cost. Mind you, two receptionist told me a month before hand it was approved. Of course I started to panic since I don't have 1,200 but the healthcare workers told me to calm. I just wish they could have handled the situation in a better way rather than telling me bad news then expecting me to calm down. I ended up paying $691 which is better than 1,200. The doctors or assistants won't explain the after care of your wisdom teeth to you or your care taker but instead give you a piece of paper with directions when you're high off anesthesia. IF your insurance approves the cost of treatment then by all means go for it but I wouldn't recommend coming here for anything. With inflation rising, insurance will not try to pay for anything so just be careful of what office you go to. Just make sure you save or have the money for any appointment you come here for. This place is okay if your insurance covers your cost but if it does not, it's a hassle. Try to go to a different office that is better at communicating. I have another appointment in august that I will be canceling since that cost $173 because insurance denied it again. It's not worth the stress and lies from the receptionist. read more

My oral surgeon was amazing and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I had to get my wisdom teeth removed and did it under general anesthesia. Took less than 30 mins for the procedure. No complications from it. Reasonable on prices with insurance. Only OTC medications for pain, but luckily that was enough for me. Would recommend 100%. The staff here at this location are really professional and courteous and made sure that I was completely taken care of first before doing any of the work. My mouth was completely numb and I didn't feel anything which is a big plus to me and it went so smooth. After the first session they showed me everything that they did and what needed to be finished, then scheduled me for the next session. I have to say this is the best dentist and staff that I have ever been with in a dentist office. The front receptionist, Brittany, was wonderful and so pleasant to talk to , you don't normally find that at these places..she made the visit easy and worth coming here.. This is the worst dental office in the city. Make an appointment at your own risk. In my first attempt to make an appointment the receptionist told me they didn't take my insurance (it was a new insurance for me but I made sure to call my insurance company first to get a list of dental providers, all of Absolute Dental's locations were on the list). I explained to the receptionist I had prior contact with my insurance and they verified Absolute Dental was on their list of providers. But instead of the lady taking my info and checking she insisted they didn't take my insurance. Thinking maybe my insurance company made a mistake I called them back to check again and the representative assured me Absolute Dental was a listed provider. On my 2nd call, the lady still persisted so I suggested she take my info anyway and at least check. Well what do you know, she discovered Absolute Dental does take my insurance. After my first appointment I was scheduled for follow up cleaning and some fills. While scheduling the follow up appointment I asked to pay for my services in advance but the lady insisted I was covered 100% by my insurance. Weeks later I get my teeth filled and I have never felt so bad after having a filling as I did after going to this place. Additionally, I had an early morning appointment, I was early to the appointment but had to wait an additional 45 minutes to even be seen, smh! Months later... of course I get a call EARLY on a Saturday morning stating I had a balance because my insurance doesn't cover me at 100%. Trust me I was waiting for the call because I already knew my coverage. I paid the full balance and will NEVER return to this place. It is my opinion that the workers are trained to tell you you're covered 100% to insure you return for the services so they can make money. I can afford to pay my bills in full but others may not. read more

This place is the WORST!!! Run, run fast. It used to be Aces Dental and a cool place. Then they got bought out by Absolute Dental. All locations are BAD. This place schedules you through a phone bank NOT THE OFFICE you will go to, there is no communication between the two so the phone bank just schedules back to back appointments the office cannot possibly get to in a day. That leaves the patient sitting around waiting for when they MIGHT get them in, WITH AN APPOINTMENT. PLUS, you cannot get through to the almighty phone bank, they offer a call back service and then no call back. They have no respect for your time. Plus, their prices went through the roof. If you are paying out of pocket, you are double screwed. Go elsewhere. Absolute Dental is the worst. You have been warned. read more

My appointment was at 3pm. I arrived about 10 minutes early and filled out my paperwork. I was called back for my x-rays fairly quickly and was done within 15 min. I asked the lady, "what about my cleaning?" She just said, "I don't know, I don't make the schedules". Only after stating a couple of times, that the cleaning is what I'm here for she finally said, "let me check". It's now 4:40p and still waiting. What's even more frustrating is that there is no sense of urgency and customer service lacks empathy. This has been my same experience the last couple of times.
