I initially posted a not so great review due to a situation I had with a few of my out of pocket crowns. I am here to say, they made it right! Janet, front office called me after seeing my review and asked me to come in to see if the issue could be resolved. In which I was inclined to do. The original crown I had put in was shaved down so much that I was not able to chew properly on one side. They were able to fix the crown that bothered me the most, and my gosh can I say how happy I am with the results. The consideration and care this team put in I cannot thank them enough. They really do care about their patients, and want to make sure everything is done with care. Major props to the entire team from point A to Z. Lesson learned, please speak up again if you ever have an issue because you'd be surprised as to what you can get resolved. Thank you to Dr.Yang! Stay far away from this place! 1. The worst pain I ever experienced getting 3 fillings. This was my first time crying in the chair while getting fillings. I felt every bit of him drilling my teeth which I've never experienced before. 2. After receiving these filling, I have extreme pain in each tooth he worked on. It's so hard for me to eat certain things now and my tooth hurts when I floss.... Things I've never experienced before. 3. Won't get in a chair until 20-30 min after your appointment time. Waited 40 min once and got sent away due to low staff. 4. I needed a referral to see an endodontist for pain in 4 teeth. They emailed me a referral to get my wisdom teeth removed..... I don't have my wisdom teeth 5. When I finally got the right referral and I'm at the endodontist, my general dentist said the 4 teeth that I am having trouble with are my wisdom teeth.....again, I don't have my wisdom teeth. Unprofessional, low care quality, and I left with more problems than I started with. Currently trying to get everything corrected at a new place. read more

Absolutely no pain or discomfort. Dr. Yancey is so gentle. They were all so accommodating. They wanted to be sure I wasn't cold and asked if I needed a blanket. Did I need to use the restroom? Dr. Derrick Pham is the best dentist experience. Everyone in the office is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We met Dr. Pham and Ivy previously and were referred by friends when looking for a new local dentist. Check-in was a breeze, although there are quite a few papers you have to fill out on your first visit. They were able to get our insurance policy coverages confirmed in advance of our arrival, saving a significant amount of time. They walk you through everything and explain what insurance covers and won't cover (copays, etc.) very thoroughly. They take their time, I never felt rushed. Their office has the latest technology, for example, they send close-up shots with a special camera to digitally send to insurance for faster approvals. Highly recommended, even if you have to drive a bit further to visit. There is free, easy parking right in front. They also do cosmetic work. read more

I don't have insurance, when I call to ask if they could do root canal in the molar teeth in their office, the lady told me yes. and after I did a full mouth X-ray, the dentist told me they can't do root canal in the office. He said he never did molar teeth root canal!! They just want to earn the X-ray money from me which is $95 dollar for just 5 minutes talking with the dentist. I felt like I was cheated . Dr Pham has been my dentist for years. He is a perfectionist and always pays attention to details. He is very gentle, and makes sure I'm comfortable while receiving any dental procedures from routine cleaning to deep cleaning or fill-ins. The staff is friendly and accommodating . Icon dental is over priced with supporting customers with proper dental care. They speak with you about your billing while your sitting in the dentist chair instead of doing so in either a private area or at the front desk before I sit down in the dentist chair. My insurance and break down of services should be given to me before I sit in the dentist chair. The front desk lady who handles billing is condescending so I asked for my records and decided I would take my business somewhere else. She proceeded to remind me of their policy of getting a job refundable deposit on any procedure over $100, which I was offended by, before I sit in your chair, that should be reiterated. I politely declined the service. I have never been asked for a deposit on a procedure in my 30 years of going to the dentist; it gives a message of mistrust and inability to treat customers like they matter. So I move on with finding another dentist and they have the nerve to send me a letter as if they declined to service me and literally stated, "because of a breakdown in our doctor-patient relationship, which is necessary for optimal care; your dental needs would be better met elsewhere." The dentist NEVER spoke with me at all when he didn't my cleansing, he never asked me why I wanted to leave his dentist office but he sent a letter that was clearly written by his front office. It was highly rude to send that letter because I am the one who cancelled moving forward, I do not need a letter telling me they will no longer be able to provide dental care or treatment. It's all the 100% unprofessional to send a letter like that. Dr. Pham you are disconnected from your patients and your billing receptionist needs training on how to communicate effectively and when to communicate about billing and insurance. Do better if your going to serve North Las Vegas. read more

Went in for cleaning and exam with insurance. They didn't perform a cleaning, instead the doctor spent maybe 40 seconds looking in my mouth, (not even poking with an instrument), just enough time to reference some teeth for the hygienist to write down. They told me I had 5 cavities and needed over $1200 worth of work. They however wouldn't do anything until the insurance company agreed to cover it. In the meantime, I went to another dentist for a second opinion and was told none of those teeth had cavities, nor did I need a root canal. read more
