Only 5 stars because there are not 10 on the scale. Dr. Trinh is truly the best dentist I have gone to in my adult life. I was referred to him several years ago by a friend, and have never looked elsewhere. They are professional, friendly, and Dr. Trinh WILL NOT LET YOU HURT during procedures. I have had 5 crowns, and 1 more pending and he is quick and does excellent work. I felt compelled to leave this review as I had my first root canal/crown done yesterday and it was painless and not nearly as traumatic as some folks relay root canal experiences. And he has a cool new machine on premises that can make a crown in office as opposed to having a temp crown for 2-3 weeks and coming back in for yet another procedures (this also opens up more appointments btw). If I ever leave the area, I'll have to fly back to Vegas to get my dental work done. Dr. Trinh only has one draw back--there is only one of him--highly recommend Elite Dental. read more

I visited Elite Dental after a couple of years with another dentist. The other dentist's office did a poor job of actually cleaning my teeth and I visited every 6 months.. I would walk out with plaque and stains remaining behind my teeth which was so odd to me. Decided to switch to Elite and was so pleased with how thoroughly they examined and cleaned my teeth! I've been going to Elite Dental for over 17 years, and my whole family has been patients there too. Dr. Trinh and the dental assistants are honestly great--super skilled and friendly, no complaints there. But the billing associate? Absolutely awful. The rudeness and complete lack of customer service from her have ruined it for us. I was calmly explaining to the front desk staff that we won't be coming back, and the billing lady stormed out, basically shooing me out the door like I was a nuisance. It was so unprofessional and disrespectful. After our next couple of visits are done, we're finished with this place. It's a shame, but I can't keep dealing with that kind of treatment." read more

I'm very late on this review, as I had root canal and crowns done between April and October of 2020. But my recent experience at another dental office close by made me realized just how great Elite Dental was! When I tell you I have never had a painless procedure at the dentist office ever in my whole forever life! Who has a pleasant root canal? Like, who does that?? I needed a procedure done, and they told me they no longer did the more economical procedure. I will soon be 79, so do I really need the more expensive procedure? Even if I do, should I not have a choice? This is the third office that has refused to do the more economical procedure. So, I know of at least three dentist in Fresno who are more interested in making money, than in the needs of the patients, and this dentist is one of them. When I wrote a review on their web site, I hit 3 stars, but when I went to write the review, it showed FIVE STARS!!! Dr. Sinh Trinh has been our family dentist (6 of us) for sometime. Today my wife went in at 10:30am to have a procedure done. He numbed her and told her he would be back in 10-15 minutes and went to see another patient. He returned an hour later and numbed her once more and told her he would return in 10-15 minutes. It is now 12:19pm and still no dentist. She asked the front desk staff to speak with the dentist. They go to the back and return to tell her that he stepped out. What in the ****?! He was just there an hour ago to numb her! This is completely unacceptable. I told her to inform the office staff as such and to request all of our files. To let them know that there unprofessionalism will not be tolerated and we will take our family elsewhere. This dentist office used to be great and over time they've gone downhill. I would rate this office 0 stars if possible. read more

Had cleaning done on 3/21 by Val. I have had 3 hygienists so far with Elite Dental -- Melissa, Jill and now Val. I must say that all of them are really awesome! For my latest visit, Val took really good care of me and was extremely professional. Even though it was my first cleaning with Val, she was very friendly and immediately put me at ease especially since I already gave a heads up that dentist and doctor visits really give me utmost anxiety. Overall, I had a very good appointment and I commend Elite Dental and staff for always giving excellent customer service and going the extra mile in assuring patients like me to just stay calm all throughout the visit. I recently had a double root canal with Dr. Lotfi since one infected tooth had infected the one next to it. This was not fun since I also had decay below the gum line that needed treatment. Yet I found Dr. Lotfi to be thoughtful and kind through the whole process. He communicated well about what he was doing and answered all my questions. I never waited a long time to get treatment. It was a several step process, but the final result was very good. I asked him why Yelp reviews for Elite Dental from several prior years are not good. He said that a different dentist had been there at that time and is not working there now. Based on my recent experience, I would recommend Dr. Lotfi and Elite Dental. read more

Dr. Trinh and Elite Dental was recommended to me from a long time friend. I needed a dentist after chipping one of my veneers. I had no problem getting an appointment and the staff was very friendly. They brought me back on time and immediately took an x-ray of the chipped tooth. Dr. Trinh came in a few minutes later and did a very fast but professional examination. He explained what we recommended for treatment and a lady from the front desk explained the options. I had a bit of sticker shock with the prices and of course there was an up sell to a better material for the crown. I'm still deciding whether to get the work done or get a second opinion. The material they recommend (E-Max Crown) is an additional $250. Luckily there is no urgency to get this work done and I'm not in any pain. I do know that I'll be seeing Dr. Trinh at some point in the future as he is great with people who have dental anxiety. read more

I looked up Dr. Trinh (Elite Dental) on the internet and saw that he had very good ratings. Also, he is near my house, so I decided to go. I had a large filling in one of my back teeth, and after an examination, he stated that I needed the tooth refilled and topped off with a crown. I went through the process and opted for the upgraded crown. So far, so good. The next problem was a filling that fell out of my front tooth. I called and the office was very receptive. I got in there the next day, and the doctor was able to re-fill the front tooth. The woman who does the dental cleanings is very friendly and competent. In fact, all of the staff in the back are very friendly, yet get the job done. The front of the house has changed a couple of times, and the last time I was there, there were new people. They are cordial and professional, but not as down-to-earth as the actual dental staff. I had several fillings replaced, and the doctor was very thorough. I wanted to get the amalgam out of my teeth. One Sunday, while eating breakfast, the crown on the other side of my mouth came off of the tooth. I called the doctor's emergency line, and he called me back about an hour later. He told me to come in when they opened the next day. The doctor was able to clean up the tooth, and get an impression for a new crown. Once again, I got the upgraded crown. I like that they are flexible when you have an emergency, and also that they are patient with you. It takes a lot to get my mouth numb, and they remembered that. Now they use products that can numb my mouth with less waiting time. If I say it hurts, they give me more and wait. I have never felt a sense of impatience from them. I think that they strive to constantly improve their customer service and send appointment reminders via the internet, and surveys to determine how to better themselves after your appointment. This is a great place! I went for my initial appointment and everyone was so nice. I then had a follow up for my cleaning and to get a chipped tooth fixed. I signed in, was taken back within 5 mins, and got done with both appointments within an hour! The dentist was great. My tooth looks like it never was chipped. I was seeing this clinic for a year. My children and myself. I felt as if the care was amazing from the hygienist my family saw. However the individual was not working for our next appointment and we saw someone else. That individual I was told was an assistant I did not know that at the time of my cleaning, I complained at the time of treatment of an aching area however never having a cavity or sensitive teeth I wasn't sure what it was. The assistant looked over my concern and after that I had to see a dentist elsewhere for a second opinion. I did not fault this office. I asked well in advance that my children's upcoming appointments be with the hygienist we have come to trust and was told she would be available for the appointment today. However when we arrived it wasn't her. I asked the lady at the desk if we were seeing our hygienist and she FIRED US from care. Seriously terminated care because of the fact we have a preference in whom cares for us. I'm sure me speaking to the lady went in one ear and out the other but I had zero issue with the care we were given by the Dr. I had no problems with the original hygienist but to request to see a specific hygienist and be terminated from care is disheartening. I'm not sure if it's a personal thing but it sure does feel like that at this point. I would suggest gracious professionalism. read more

Dr. T and his staff are the best!!! Even though I recently moved across town, this place is the best and I will continue to go here. Never in 27 years have I experienced such awesome customer service and patient centered dental care. I can't even name drop because every single person in this office goes above and beyond to greet you and make you feel welcomed. After not having insurance for a few years, I had some cavities that needed work. As soon as I moved to Vegas and got coverage this is where I went and I could not be more happy. They go over in detail what you need done as well as discussing accurate pricing (that didn't change or go up) As well as flexible options. After going back 3 or 4 times for a crown and some fillings, I have nothing but good things to say. Even when my crown was not comfortable they got me in the next day to go in for 5 minutes and fix it. They really care about their patients and it shows. The waiting room (and private rooms) are always super clean. HGTV is always playing when I go there and all the rooms have TVs as well. I'm not from a big city so this was new to me and I really enjoyed the luxury of being able to watch something while I'm waiting...and while they were working on my teeth! Im also always surprised at how quickly they do everything. It's done well with great quality but I'm always in and out in no time. I've also always been taken back right on time for my appointments. I've never really had to wait, whether it's in the waiting room or in the private patient room waiting for the dentist. I really love it here and they deserve all the high praise they get! read more
