I asked about the hinge first and the associate was not having it, and said to go on google and find it they don't order hinges for other cabinets. I asked if she knew of a company that could help as I've already been through Home Depot and Lowe's and she informed me that they can't help. They don't order hinges for items purchased online. A custom cabinet company can't help me order a hinge ... So you guessed it: Not going to order my coffee bar cabinet from these people. If I wanted to be treated poorly from a sales associate/company I'll just go to Home Depot and pay less. Why buy small and local? I do not recommend this business, bad first impression for sure.

We contracted Andy Dellisanti to build a 6-foot addition off the back of the house to increase the…read moresize of the kitchen and laundry room. We also gutted the kitchen and replaced the flooring across the first floor. We felt very good about using Andy and Dellisanti Construction for our project after seeing other reviews and talking to previous clients. The project started in December of 2023 and as of June 30, 2025, is still not completed. Unfortunately, Andy ran into some money issues and was using our project funds to cover other projects. He lied about having the cabinets for months until we finally called the manufacturer to get the real story. He came to us in December of 2024 asking for our help to finish the job. He requested we stop paying him any future funds and just pay suppliers for the granite and cabinets because he couldn't afford on his own. He would then do the labor for free to finish up the project. The expectation was that we would pay the same amount for our project, with the last funds going directly to suppliers. He begged us to let him finish the project and said this would be his last job and needed it to get done right before closing his business. He also lied multiple times about having our hardware, hood, sinks, faucets, etc., all of which we ended up buying on our own to keep the project moving. Andy has sent us dozen and dozens of texts promising to show up and do the work to finish up. We ended up paying another contractor to finish the backsplash because he is so unreliable. We have rearranged our schedule so many times because he says he will be here but never shows. At this point, I think he is out of the business and now working for a roofing company but in the event he ever tries to get back in or do some side work, I wanted this review out there. He comes across as a really genuine guy and we wanted to like and trust him to finish up, but it's clear he has no interest in doing the right thing. Please be very careful when dealing with this guy. He will say anything and then not deliver. It's really sad that contractors think it's okay to treat clients this way.

We hired Kitchen Solvers of Greater Cleveland to remodel our kitchen. There were red flags from…read morethe very first that we should have noticed. First, the contract. It is very cumbersome and demands 90% of the money before the job is completed. That being said there were many issues. Jay is not a man of his word. He told us many things that simply didn't happen in a timely manner. His workmanship is not good. We have 3 very glaring issues; a large gouge in the sink, a hole where the countertop does not meet the wall, and braces under the bar that show. It would be major to repair these mistakes. We will live with them. In August, before we signed the contact, we told Jay not to start the project unless he could get it finished before the Thanksgiving holiday. We were in no hurry and said he could start in January of 2024. We had a house full of company coming for Thanksgiving and we were also celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. Jay told us this would not be a problem. He assured us as time went by that he would be done the Friday before Thanksgiving. The week before Thanksgiving Jay came several days, late morning or early afternoon and worked well into the night. Of course, he asked us if this was OK and we naturally said yes because we were running out of time to finish the kitchen. One night he stayed until midnight. The job was finally competed the Monday before Thanksgiving at 8:30PM. Jay does not communicate. There were times when we didn't see him or he was here for a short period of time for several days. There was plenty of time to complete the job if they had worked. He originally told us the countertop would not be a problem as it was made in house and took from 2 to 3 days. Our countertop took 7 days and then was not correct. The Plumber came to do what he had to do and not only was Jay not here but neither was the countertop or sink. There were also extra costs that we did not expect. Jay originally told us the quoted price was all inclusive. We had issues with the backsplash and the sink faucet which added $775 to the cost. Naturally Jay said neither of these was his problem. We disagree. After completing the job, we had a list of issues that could be fixed. They came and fixed what they could. They still had to replace a damaged door which Jay told us would take a few days. Two and a half weeks later we had not heard from him so I called corporate Kitchen Solvers and that afternoon I hear from Leslie. This is the first time in our 80 years of life that we have published a negative review. Just be careful if you are considering Kitchen Solvers (Jay) for your remodeling project. Our experience was not good. If you want more information you can get our number from Jay. If he refuses to give it to you, it is an indication that the above is correct. George and Joyce Smith

It took almost six weeks for the cabinets to be installed. Measuring for the counter tops was delayed. They apparently had an issue with getting the counter top material delivered and here i am, three months later and my counter tops aren't even scheduled to be installed. What's worse, they made a big deal of getting paid well in advance and have under delivered. Dave, Matt and Geoff are all terrible at communicating when to expect work to be done or when things will be delayed. I have had a good experience with communicating with the designer, Lauren, who has helped me several times in the process... so, she's been the one saving grace. Thank you Lauren. In general, steer clear of Cleveland Cabinets!
