That's not their normal approach but it worked great and provided some in-depth instruction that made my teenager a better driver who was able to pass the re-test. Everything I heard about the instruction sounded informative, direct, and useful. I'm really glad we used their services. They are located in a booth inside the Towerpoint HEB by one of the exits. I spoke with them on the phone, by email, and in person, and they were always helpful and pleasant. Drives are scheduled through a web-based dashboard and fill up quickly. They used their cars for the lesson and test, so I wasn't stuck waiting at the HEB. Overall it was an excellent experience.

Came here for the first time for son. According to him, class are mostly video taught then some…read moreclass work. Class is approximately 2hrs. They provide a certificate after they take a written test. I take the certificate to DPS so he can get his drivers permit in order for the instructors to teach him how to physically drive. We got the $415 package deal that includes 3 weeks (Mon-Thurs) class work, 7hrs of driving and 7hrs of observing someone else drive, all using the company vehicle. Once everything is done, we're required to take him to continue driving for about 30hrs. There's a sheet that we record when and how long we took him. My son retains his permit for about 6 months before being eligible to take the actual driving test. I know the package is pretty expensive, but it's worth it when both parents are working and they don't have to deal with the hassle of the initial training and this course gives you a discount for your insurance company. They have their own vehicles for my son to use. They're conveniently located across the street from Bryan High School. My son passed his drivers test and they provided us a certificate in a sealed envelope which we take to DPS to take his picture and we're done. Overall, if you can afford it, it's worth it because my wife and I just didn't have the time to teach him. It was so convenient because my son would go right after school. Now I'm just saving up for my youngest son lol. The staff are informational and helpful. At one point, calling them was very difficult and even scheduling driving lesson time blocks. I think they could be a little more organize, but I know they're shorthanded on drivers and all. The parking lot large and is shared with other other establishments including Aldi.

Why not use this time to work on skills with your students? Expectations of the skills test not clearly communicated. Testing environment set up poorly and not conducive to passing. They have a really neat program to teach drivers the techniques for rally driving and it works. Wes and Scott were super and really focused on safety and having fun. Their program is focused on showing you what needs to be done, doing the skills, taking a break to let is soak in, and then doing it again. It's very well structured and by the end of the day they were doing the slalom course with a lot of confidence. As for the team, I didn't meet anyone at Rally Ready that wasn't outgoing, personable, and just plain nice. They love rallying, but are genuinely good people. It's not about pulling people in to stack the house, but about teaching a subject which they are passionate about. Cypress Creek had great reviews, so even though it was a longer commute, we wanted a positive experience. We purchased the 6 lesson package for my daughter and it was a good fit. She already had some driving experience, but she needed some fine tuning. Each lesson was 1.5 hours and my daughter's driving ability and comfort behind the wheel improved. After the 6th lesson, we scheduled her road test with an extra lesson right before. She was thrilled when she passed. I'm very happy with our experience. The facility is state of the art and the instructors are the best. Dr. Savell and Dr. Griffin know their stuff and are great at conveying it in an interesting and understandable fashion. Everyone affiliated with the program is very professional and knowledgeable. I have been in the food business all my life and always learn a lot from these guys. The courses aren't cheap but well worth every penny.
