During our initial meeting, we sat down with Shaun at Panera Bread and I was sort of star-struck to actually meet "Dumb" from Rover's Morning Glory since I have been a loyal fan of the show since the very beginning!   He was very cool and professional in person, thoroughly explaining all of the services he offered and providing us with pricing sheets and everything else we needed to consider him for our big day.  He gave us his availability for the following calendar year so we had an idea before picking a wedding date.  We ended up using Shaun's services for both our ceremony and reception.  His prices were very reasonable and his rave reviews on wedding sites had us convinced!  He was very accommodating with our song choices and even did custom fade ins/outs for a few of them per our request.  Since he's been DJing weddings for so many years, he was very helpful with making suggestions on certain aspects of the wedding to help things go more smoothly.  When it came time for dancing, the floor was lit up and the music was booming! He did great with engaging with our guests and all of our friends loved him! All in all, our wedding day was great and we couldn't have done it without Shaun's help.  He kept us on track through the evening and was in contact with myself and my wife throughout the night as needed. She was amazing and added so much to the shower experience. Virtual guests received the most lovely boxes in the mail with small items to set out at shower time and help them feel like they were really included in the event. She added so many touching things to the shower format that were more than just fun games. People had time to offer advice and share there love for my daughter and husband. I have done a virtual shower by myself before and it was such a treat to have someone else manage the tech or virtual guests so that I could enjoy the shower myself. Sometimes, picking out a business online can make one nervous, and I felt a bit that way when I first contacted her, but once you meet her you will sense her reliability and creativity. We got to eat shrimp while looking at the aquatic tanks. Seemed odd. But the appetizers were good. They had servers walking around and a few bar stations set up. Nice spread half way too that had a beautiful vegetable spread, cheese and crackers. The windows on the river venue where we ate dinner was decorated nicely. The team working the service were awesome. Friendly and smiling! The food was amazing. I had the chicken piccata and my husband had filet mignon. The chicken was tender and the sauce delicious. My favorite was the green beans with red peppers. Really well done. The dessert was tiramisu. It was also well done. Great job Chefs! The entertainment was Disco Inferno. So a freaking Friday 3 PM wedding on the west side of town - with a 2 hour window before the 6 PM cocktail/7 PM reception. This was hard to find and once in the parking lot - it was still confusing. The cocktail hour was on a terrace - outdoors and rather chilly. And not wheelchair friendly as my elderly mom could not make it to this part. Uneven flooring, jammed with people and tables and chairs to maneuver. Plus there is no elevator to get her down from the reception area. Just bad planning on all levels (no pun intended). I think the food on the patio was good - it looked good but hubby wasn't hungry and there were so many people, I only ended up trying one chicken skewer thing as a waitress wandered by with a tray. It was very good. I also don't know about bar service as again - we don't drink and hubby never offered to get me a soft drink. Plus - no place to put it and eat while standing, too. So just was well. We were seated upstairs for the reception. The room has these huge metal black steel pillar-beams which blocked my view from everything happening - cutting the wedding cake, bridal dance, etc. And I was seated at the family wedding table. The room was too small for the size of the party. When the dancing started, the music was so loud those seated at tables could not talk. I don't think it was the DJ's fault for having the music too loud - we were just all crammed together right by the dance floor. One good thing - the food was absolutely delicious. I went crazy and had the beef. It was a huge serving. I would have preferred med-rare - but no choice given the size of the party. I was just happy to get a choice: beef, salmon, chicken. The squash was also fantastic - with asiago cheese. YUM! Don't know about the potatoes but they looked good. Rolls were average. Salad was good. And I guess dessert doesn't count as it was wedding cake. I do not recommend this venue for a reception for almost 200 people. Pick a bigger place. I don't imagine it was really worth the cost.

(oatmeal is a very close second) Michelle and Marc delivered ahead of time and insisted on setting up, we are used to the hand off at the door and run! What a refreshing change. We already booked for next month and the month after! Definitely my go to from now on! And the selection is so varied you can go any way with them. Our next events are an appetizer assortment at a brewing company and then our end of the year Brunch! Oh, and just for the record I never do reviews - they are just that dang good!!!! The event we attended was a beach barbecue at Edgewater Beach. The beautifully set table right next to the water was perfection! The food and wine were very good overall (barbecue isn't my favorite in general). And the highlight of this experience was the phenomenal service! The event started with passed apps, a bar with a signature cocktail among other selections, and live music. Once seated for the meal at a very large table next to other attendees, the food, wine and music didn't stop! I enjoyed the concept of being seated near others who we didn't know and had enjoyable conversation. I'm eager to attend another one of their events!

All of our guests loved the food, her servers were competent and eager to please and her attention to detail (and there were oodles of details!) was fabulous. She is a delight to work with! Celebrated Mother's Day and a birthday by signing up for City Brew Tours Cleveland. I knew I'd…read moreenjoy it, simply based on the company and the fact we'd be trying all kinds of different beers, but I underestimated just how educationally stimulating the experience would also be. Our Beer Guide was Christian, and he couldn't have been better! At each stop, we took a tour of their facility and learned about different phases of the beer brewing process. I had very little knowledge about the process going in, but by the end of it, I had a whole new appreciation for one of my favorite beverages. We stopped at Market Garden Brewery, Goldhorn Brewery, Collision Bend, and Brick & Barrel, and each stop educated us a little bit about the selected beers they offered, what they pair well with, etc. All told, we tried 13 different beers, and had some food pairings specifically at Collision Bend. In the end, it was well worth the money, the day was enjoyed by everyone involved, and I can't stress just how great Christian was at making the experience a memorable one. I can't wait to try another one of their tours in the near future! FWIW: if you enjoy IPAs, the Dead Man's Curve IPA from Goldhorn Brewery is fantastic!

We also had soft pretzels at Gold Horn Brewery. Roger, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about beer and the brewing process. He was friendly and welcomed any and all questions. Our tour was full with 14 people and everyone lived in the Cleveland area. The tour van was very comfortable and we arrived at all of our destinations quickly. Our tour lasted approximately 3 1/2 hours. It was interesting talking with people and discussing the different beer options. For those interested in more than tasting, there was an in depth talk regarding the brewing process. We were required to wear closed toed shoes and we visited two of the brewery's brewing areas. I was a little disappointed at our stop at Brick and Barrel. It appeared that they were not expecting us and we could only find outdoor seating. It was chilly. Fortunately we were not there too long. We ended the tour where we started at the Double Tree downtown. We had good beer and good conversation. It was a nice evening.
