Hands down the best shawarma wraps I've ever had! I tried both the lamb and chicken shawarma, and each one was packed with flavor and perfectly seasoned. I really do enjoy this place. Every time I go the owners are very friendly and welcoming. If you need a late night place to eat that won't make you feel guilty in the morning this is the place. My favorite quick meal is the chicken shawarma arabi but the italian shawarma is also great if you like cheese. One of the guys gave me a sample once and now I get it every once in a while to change it up. Also to me, the portions are pretty big. If I get a rice bowl, I always split half of it and add it to some lettuce I have at home and its like two full meals. I just wish their location near LSU was still there :(. I don't eat pork and its also really nice to just have a place that I know I don't have to make 50 million adjustments to or request information on how its cooked. Nice people, good food. I had the pleasure of trying this halal food truck. This was also my first time trying halal. This bowl was interesting lots of different herbs and spices used. The black olives kinda threw me for a loop. The garlic sauce didn't taste like anything to me so the spicy was also the same. The meat was also a bit dry. I hate to do this one but it wouldn't be right if I don't share places I didn't enjoy like I do the ones I love. I wanted to love this place. My daughter picked it out for us to try bc she loves rice & chicken shwarma. However the rice bowl just was way too much. It had chick peas, pickled vegetables, rice, corn, garlic sauce, and chicken shwarma that was unfortunately dry. The beef shwarma was better but also kind of dry. My kids love shwarma but they refused to eat it & I had to heat up chicken wings for them. The staff was really kind and ot seemed really clean and inviting. The loaded fries with the chicken zinger was also good. Classic loaded fries style. I think the cheese sauce reminded me of cheese wiz so I didn't enjoy that as much but the other flavors covered it. The chicken zinger is fried chicken and it's good. Juicy, not too much batter. The chicken shawarma arabi was pretty good. The chicken shawarma was good and the arabi is just a burrito but cut into pieces. Less flavor than the Italian shawarma I think. All of the dishes had fries which were good. Pretty classic and reminded me of the ones you get from the market. The vegetable medley was cooked in a sour sauce which was not my cup of tea. I didn't enjoy it. Overall, it's a pretty good new place in BR. I would definitely try it if you're in the area. Grape leaves: 1/5 way too sour for me, inside was good tho. It was also cold Lamb gyro Italian Shawarma: 5/5 my favorite, cheesy and flavorful Chicken zinger loaded fries: 4.5/5 tasted like normal loaded fries with fried chicken but the cheese whiz was what I had to detract for Chicken shawarma arabi: 5/5 good, decent flavor Fries (that come with the meals): 3/5 pretty standard fries Sauce: 5/5 not sure what that white sauce is but it's really good, goes well with the whole dish Vegetable medley: 3/5 pretty sour as well but not as bad as the grape leaves. Friendly service. And very quick. To be honest was waiting to try this for so long finally took the gamble and it was lack luster at most the white sauce with the Sandwhich was very plain, no flavor. The lamb sandwich wasn't bad but they put an interesting pickle that takes over all the flavor everything else is very dense and heavy. Not terrible but definitely a bit disappointed and won't be back. read more

This was so bad. I got the beef kofta wrap and the beef was cooked so long it was the texture of a dog chew. I couldn't eat it. It went in the trash. My boyfriend ordered a bowl and they messed up his order and gave him something totally different. The fries were cold and tasted like they had been sitting for hours and were microwaved for 15 seconds prior to being put in the to go box. Don't bother with this place. read more
