I contacted Aby after founding them on google. I called a bunch of different places but they were out of budget. They picked up on the first ring and were able to quote me right away over the phone. The price was very affordable for what I wanted. They even gave me a discount for non profit which was awesome. My only issue was that they said they would deliver at 3pm and didn't show up until 530. I was really worried they they might not show up but they did. They set up fast and came the next day and picked it up. I did have some issues when I called because their mailbox is full so I hope they empty it if they read this. read more

I can personally attest to the complaints other reviewers have made about their poor communication and follow up. Their prices were good, but communication was so flaky I had to give up after numerous calls and texts to finalize a quote. They apparently have no computer system so that the quote is handwritten and any revision is a huge deal to them. They said they were "so busy" multiple times and would finalize the quote, and then didn't. They also gave inconsistent info about timing of payment and some of their prices. read more

They moved location and fail to update the new address on yelp! They are now located on Venice Blvd same center as YUM Donuts. I went to Aby's for my daughter's 3rd birthday party, there was a woman there who was not very helpful...I asked questions about renting a bouncer, tables, chairs etc.. and she would just knob her head - what does that mean???!! She was just too busy watching her soap opera "Novelas" on TV instead of providing customer service! I asked her for a written qoute instead she gave me a piece of paper and a pencil to write down prices and her calculator to do it myself - just awful! We threw a 40 person party down the street from Aby and were so happy with the outcome. We rented a pretty large tent, some tables and a few heat lamps. The total came out to about $250 including a $10 delivery/set up fee. We had called around to a few other places who refused to set up the tent the day of, didn't call us back, were too expensive, etc. Aby was great, totally helpful and more than affordable. They also were really accommodating to make sure they didn't make too much noise setting up and made sure to test all the heaters. We will be using them again! read more

Aby Party Rentals provided almost all the stuff we needed for my daughter's birthday party this past weekend. We rented a bouncer, a 10x10 canopy, two kid tables, 20 kid chairs, and a helium tank, and added a bunch of balloons to our order, and it came out to about $200, which included delivery and set-up. I can be kind of an annoying patron -- I went in a couple of times to add stuff to our order and ensure that they wouldn't forget about us on the day of the event, and I saw the same two people there every time which was very reassuring. I asked if we might be able to call on the day of our event and add some heaters if it ended up being cold, and while we ended up not needing a heater, they seemed to be very accommodating and used to that sort of thing happening. Moreover, they called us to ask if they could come set up earlier than our scheduled time, which I'm really glad they did as it allowed us to decorate for the party a little earlier. Everything went off without a hitch, they didn't forget a single thing, they were also very punctual with the pickup, and they were super nice. Their party supply in-store was kind of lacking -- their prices were actually much better than Party City, but unfortunately they weren't stocked like them. But I would absolutely rent from them again with no hesitation. read more

Recently helped a friend organize a fairly large party. We needed extra chairs so contacted this place. They did tell me they had moved from their original place to the Yum donuts shopping center. Rented the chairs and they helped me load them into the SUV. A painless, easy and fast transaction. I noticed they had a lot of colorful Pinatas. Very nice people. I had to get 20 balloons inflated for work & they were much larger than expected. No way could i get them all into my car. This company is completely disorganized. I placed an order for a client to rent a Thanksgiving Day table and chairs. I'd get a different answer each time I called them as to whether the order was set. Then, the day before, I come to find out they've canceled the order because they claimed to not have a call back number (which they definitely had, and could have asked for again any of the several times I spoke to them). Rented a dance floor for my daughter's Quinceañera. Great price and the floor was a huge success! They didn't charge us for delivery, and labor was only $35. Totally worth it! It was a little hard to get a hold of them over the phone, so we eventually just went in person to get quotes. Also, the floor was a little dirty, but they did come back later to clean it up. I picked this place because of the price and closeness to me. I called them for two days, no answer and a full voicemail box. I had about given up when someone answered on the 3rd day. Placed my order and went there the next day to finalize order. The woman there was not concerned about the full mailbox and could not find my order. Started over and everything was squared away. My husband picked up the rentals the day before the event. One of the chairs was missing the rubber feet and was thus unusable in our house, and 3 glasses were damaged and unusable. When I returned them, the same woman told me that I must have damaged them. Really? I didn't ask for a refund for the damaged items and was frankly amazed that she thought I was lying about the $.65 glasses. I would rather spend $.50 more for chairs that are inspected and clean, and same for the glassware. Plus, they still haven't emptied their voicemail and don't seem to care to answer the phone. By the way, someone else was there to complain about a bounce house that had protruding parts (???) and the woman blamed them for it! read more

I used this company after attending a kids birthday party at my friend's home. She's been very happy with them and uses them a few times a year. I wanted table/chair rentals for my daughter's birthday party. In the past I've used a larger company with lower prices but ABY has the children's size white wood folding chairs that I wanted whereas the larger party rental company only carries plastic chairs. It makes a difference to have just this nice touch and although the price was high at $2.45 per chair I still went ahead with it. Delivery was early and I might have missed the driver had I not arrived home at the exact moment he pulled up. Pickup was the next morning around 9am. Rental was booked last minute on the day before the event. I thought they were reliable, courteous and quick. If the prices weren't so high I would have given them 5 stars. read more
