I visited the store, met with the owner, and selected balloons for my daughter's birthday. Later, I returned with my husband and daughter to finalize the arrangements and requested delivery. After we left the office, the owner called me back. Her tone was extremely rude and aggressive. She questioned why I had switched from pickup to delivery, implying that I had previously committed to picking up the balloons. Her manner was unprofessional and confrontational. Frankly, it's none of her business why I changed my mind. Delivery is a service they offer, and I simply decided to use it. That should have been the end of it. Instead, she put me on hold, then hung up while I was still on the line. Shortly after, she called back to say they could deliver if I promised not to be late. At that point, the level of stress and negativity she added to what should have been a joyful process made me decide to cancel altogether. Businesses that treat customers this way don't deserve our patronage. Your customer service was terrible. Balloons are meant for happy occasions, and your behavior over the phone was negative, unkind, and completely inappropriate for this industry. I had worked with party city every year for 4 years using their delivery service they were fantastic. I felt a big reason she spoke to me was because I had an accent speaking English. Do not recommend! I placed an order days ago for my son's first birthday. Not only did they no show on me but when I called to check on my delivery I was met by the most unprofessional customer service I have ever experienced. Instead of apologizing for the mistake I was yelled at by a woman in their shop and told I was wrong and never ordered (while I had my order confirmation right in front of me). I had a hard time finding the right balloons at any of the surrounding Party City locations so tried my luck here, and I am so so happy I did!! I got a couple of regular 12" baloons, unicorn, and irridescent #23 which all came to about $50. The prices were competitive with Party City's but I found the quality to be much better!! There's plenty of street parking right in front of the store, and after filling all the balloons she even helped me out to my car and made sure they were all safely stored in my back seat. They even gave me a complimentary balloon just in case any of them popped during transport!
