It was determined that we could limp along our 15 years unit, but that soon we would have to replace our unit. We previously used Hinds when we replaced the AC 15 years ago and were extremely happy with the service then and over the years for annual maintenance and when service has been required. Hinds quoted us the option to fix the unit and various options to replace the full unit. After speaking with the owner, we decided upon one of the options that best suited our needs. The owner did not try to push any certain option and truly promoted the option that was best and most economical for us. Not only that, they were able to get the machine in and install it in just two days! This is the same great experience we had 15 years ago! Happy to say we now have cold air pumping in our home! Finally on the last call I was advised that it is now leaking and I was advised that the best course of action was to replace the unit, after less than 3 years and maybe 7 weeks of use in that time! The technicians response, "here are the quotes for new units and we gave you a $400 loyal customer discount." Wow thanks considering I paid over that in repair calls for a problem your install caused.
