He rather quickly concluded that my ducts needed to be replaced because they were damaged and he estimated the cost at $750. He C left my house on a Friday without switching on my system because he said its damaged. i suspected he was scamming me and I switched on my A/C to cool my house. I contacted a different A/C company to perform a routine system check. This company concluded that my system was in good condition and no repairs were needed. My system is working OK for two months now after the scammer tech C told me I needed ducts replaced for $750. The tech from Ridge Energy Savers tried to scam me but I outsmarted him. I do not trust Ridge Energy Savers because they tried to cheat me. I called Ridge Energy Savers and told them their tech tried to scam me out of $750 and I called them several weeks later and that same tech C is still working for them scamming more people. I hope they quickly go out of business for their unethical and cheating business practices.

Chilly Billy on recommendation from our next door neighbor attended site the same day I called, gave me a quote within an hour and were on site the next day with new equipment to install. They even offered me a few portable a/c units in the area that was down to cover the kitchen, office and family room areas while they got everything organized and did the work. Tech said we had a bad capacitor, disconnected the compressor and told us we needed a new one and our whole unit was old. Quoted us $11,500 after Veterans discount and left compressor disconnected. Called a second company. Tech said he could get us some A/C for a couple of weeks for almost $900 than would replace the whole unit for $13,000.
