I don't write reviews often, but AC Home certainly deserves the highest praise. The company who serviced my air conditioniing for years let me down BIG TIME (I won't bore you with the grisly details except to say we have parted company forever) So, I contacted Leo based on all the positive reviews I found about AC Home. He was at my house only 90 minutes later! (I had already waited 12 hours overnight for my "priority" visit from my former service company.) He quickly diagnosed the problem, installed an improvement to allow me to properly and easily flush my drain line if needed, and reworked the rest of the drain line which was improperly installed in the first place. He explained everything he was doing as he did it which I liked, and charged a very fair fee. As far as I am concerned, he is now my go-to guy for my A/C system. Thanks again Leo! read more

Don't waste your time with this company. They replaced our entire HVAC system 12/2020. The system failed 12/2024 and to replace the condenser (under warranty), he quoted $5200.00. Was told parts from Carrier are unavailable and he won't intervene with Carrier to do the warranty work. Had a reputable company come out to evaluate in 1/25. Told the system was improperly installed in 2020 resulting in a premature leaking of the condenser coil system. Don't use this company, they don't stand by the 10 year warranty, blame issues on the Carrier, they do shoddy work and their names don't match the contractor license. Buyer beware. read more

AC Home LLC is like having a family member who will show up anytime you need them to repair your AC! Leo, the owner, is the most reliable and honest repairmen I have ever met. He has kept our 20+ yr. old HVAC system going for several years. The Friday before Thanksgiving, I called Leo and he honestly informed me that it was time to lay our very old HVAC system to rest and we should invest the money for a new unit. I wanted to get the new unit installed ASAP since I was off for Thanksgiving week. Leo said he would try his best. On the Tues before Thanksgiving, Leo texted me and said he was able to get the new HVAC unit and could have it installed the next day! I couldn't believe it! Not only did Leo make sure the install got done that week, he gave me an amazing price! The next day, the install technician, Gustave, came out and had the new unit installed in about 4 hours! I'm so thankful to Leo for all his help! I had my AC compressor burned on 08/16/2017, and I was not in town at the moment and I had tenants at the house that were very unhappy! I called Leo and he was able to get to the house in just minutes. He gave me a fair price for replacement of my AC unit and installation cost, and he was very honest about my options! Instead of waiting for insurance company for days to at least come in and look at the problem and pay high deductible, I decided to use Leo's help! He did it same day, removed old unit, installed new one and run it to make sure it works great! He was also respectfully to my tenants needs and requests! What a blessing! Also he offered me to install Nest thermostat in my house, it was such a good idea! Because I'm away and I don't see what's going on in my house, now I can control it from my phone! Very poor service! Leo came late and didn't bother calling. I had to call him to find out why he wasn't here. Then, he spent 5 minutes and didn't bother to find or fix problem. He actually told me that I should wake up in the middle of the night and turn down the temp 1 degree in order to activate the AC. He was unprofessional and didn't even want to know what the problem was with the AC. My AC stays at the same temp for hours even though the house is getting hotter. He didn't spend a minute to listen to what I was saying. It was a horrible experience and will NEVER call him to fix a simple thing. Unprofessional and RUDE! read more

My unit is 25 years old, and one day it just stopped cooling my house and I noticed a leak.. Leo is a gem to work with! He will get to your situation as quickly as possible. Luckily for me, I had a blower and fan going bad to which he simply texted me, asked me some questions to diagnose, and was able to do so via text to place an order on the parts. He came by within the next few days to install quickly and efficiently. This was also the only establishment that listened to me about my issues with my dampers going bad. A few other locations just told me "they're fine, that'll be $75 for the visit". One of Leo's associates came by, inspected the problem, and let me know the motor was bad. They replaced it same day! This business is worth your time. They will do a great job at a fair price. I cannot recommend this enough and will absolutely be using their services in the future. read more

Terrible customer Service. i called with my AC out they said they could send a Tech the following Day. No phone call no one turned up. Took me an hour and a half to get through to Service Center nothing resolved. Still waiting 2 days AC not working now and I have an expensive service contract with Del Air. Leo charged me $280 to change a former. A little steep, no problem. But he was too lazy to do it properly. He attached the transformer which gets hot touching all of my wires which could cause a fire hazard. It did not work and I realized why. I connected one of the low voltage wire wrong. So he charged me an add it all $160 to switch one wire. I let him do it because I am already in it for $280. He knows that my AC unit is 21 years old and will be needing a replacement in a few years. He saw where I lived and decide to milk the fat cow. He is new to doing business so he will learn. He could have won me over as a life long customer if he wasn't so greedy and saw dollar signs. A life long customer would have been annual maintenance, duct cleaning and a brand new system. But no, his greed got the best of hm and he lost the opportunity to earn the trust of a life long client. You will learn Leo. What goes around comes around read more

Our home was hit by lightning on Sunday evening and I submitted a thumbtack request late that night. When we woke up Monday morning we had a response from Leo at AC Home. We called him right around 8am and he was at our home by 9am! Several of the elements (zoning board, transformer, etc.) of the A/C had been damaged from the power surge and were not functional. Leo found the parts for us below published costs and gave us an incredible discount on his labor. My house is already cooling and will be back to normal before my kids even get home from school.
