Two years ago (2022) in the middle of summer, my A/C just stopped working. I felt like I had been overcharged by the previous company I had used, so I looked for a new place. Unfortunately, the issue was a defective coil and, although it was covered by my warranty (I replaced the unit in 2017), it was still a bit of a pricey fix and took over a month because the part had to be manufactured. Keiley was super helpful and kept me updated throughout the process, and I decided to get a preventative maintenance agreement for twice a year service because I didn't want anything like this to happen again. We have had several service visits, including one to our new house right after we moved. I believe the technician Javier has come to every one of the visits, and he is extremely professional and really goes above and beyond. There was an issue right after we moved in (because I installed the thermostat - badly) and even though I believe it was slightly out of the scope of his job, Javier took the time to help me fix my mistakes. read more

They did not install my A/C unit correctly 3 years ago and I've been dealing with issues ever since. They have come out to my house multiple times over the last 3 years and have never once diagnosed that they installed it improperly. I had another company come out and diagnose the issue. I started using A Prestige Air earlier this year for routine maintenance on our unit based on good reviews. They did a great job then. Recently I had some issues with my unit not cooling efficiently, I thought it was time for a new unit. I was also due service so I hoped to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. The service manger, Jim came out and personally serviced my unit. He immediately found the issue and repaired it. He was honest and upfront. That's a big thing with me. They could have easily sold us a new unit. He broke down what caused it and reassured that my unit was good for at least a few more years. From the opening phone call to the service, this is a top class business. Bill came out and did a fantastic job! We're still cautious when it comes to strangers, indoor spaces and Covid so when he saw me with my mask, he immediately put his on and then put on shoe covers. Each time he came in and out of the house, he respected our home by taking them on and off. This type of behavior is rare of anyone nowadays, but especially for house calls for some reason, so it was pretty surprising. He explained what he did and everything seems to be functioning great! At about 4 o'clock in the morning one of the days this week, our AC just stopped working. We called around a ton of companies in the area to compare prices and company morale. We were immediately impressed with A Prestige AC. Natalie was extremely attentive via phone, Yelp! messages/email and even text message. Upon contacting her she was clear about pricing and did not give me a run around. She sent Jim over to my home to help my wife and I get the problem sorted out. We already found it pretty affordable to have a $65 service call fee in order to diagnose the problem. Jim was incredible! Within half an hour he had everything pumping and ready to go. There were a couple problems so I won't bore this review with the service that was done but we did decide to get their annual plan which is sort of like a membership that includes certain services to be done during the year. It's great because we had the condensation line drained and that is one of the services so that fee was waived and so was the service call fee. We ended up paying less getting the membership than what we would have paid without the membership! Think about it like an insurance on top of any possible warranty for labor or parts that you may have. At the end of the day, you really never know when your AC is going to go out and it's important to be protected with a good company that will not haggle you or give you a bad service. we purchased a new Goodman hvac unit and installation from A Prestige heating and air company. The installers apparently were out sourced and were not qualified to do proper installation and did not complete the installation as the electrical box needed to be moved and they could not install the rain shield. A prestige told us that they would have to get a permit and an electrician to move the box but it was all right to run the unit .That process took about three weeks. Upon running the unit we noticed it was short cycling and a very strong Oder. A Prestige made three trips to complete the rain shield as each time they did not have the material needed. We asked them to correct the odor and short cycling. they installed a new thermostat to no avail. They finally finished the rain shield 12-21-21 and I asked their service tech check the duct work under the house but he refused. After that I called another heating and air company to look at our problem. They found that the return air duct was too short and had been pulled off the boot when installed,sand had been pulled into the unit, and that the electrical ground had not been connected to the unit. After that nightmare I certainly would not recommend Prestige Air. u read more

Just reading through your email shows the company's values. You took time and effort to write a very long explanation, but unfortunately, the company has not taken the time and effort to make sure the customer's needs were met and that the customer was treated with basic respect. I mentioned that no one reached out to me after I spoke with you and explained how I was yelled at on the phone by Jim. Jim's response was rude and incredibly unprofessional. It was a humiliating experience and the response to this situation showed how little value is placed on the customer. I realized afterward that the correct price was quoted on the paper provided by Jim; however, as mentioned previously, I verbally noted the price several times on the phone with Jim, and I was not corrected on the price. Despite these mistakes on both parties, the disrespect I was treated with was unwarranted and unacceptable. Additionally, I have been attempting to schedule an appointment to evaluate the performance of the AC unit since I have not been receiving the 20% - 25% energy cost savings that I was told. However, the company has been making it challenging to have this appointment created and is making me go out of my way to find and provide information instead of having someone come to check the unit and make sure is working properly. To conclude, my entire experience with the company has been more than unpleasant, and no one is willing to make an effort to assist me with my situation. read more

Our unit starting giving us some issues, as it was now approaching 15+ years old. Jim came out, and he was very nice and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the system had lived long past the usual timeframe and so we had to get a new one. Prices were very reasonable, and he explained in detail the different options. Jim even put Freon in the unit, the original main issue, to get us through till new system could be installed a few days later. When the day came, the guys arrived, everything installed and looks great. Even with one little recommendation, Madonna took care of it immediately. Jim came out and diagnosed the problem and found out that there was no more refrigerant in the system and immediately found the source of the leak. Fast and professional. Had my heater inspected in a few hours and brought parts to repair it the next morning. During inspection, I asked the technician to take off his shoes. The next day, the other technician came wearing shoe covers. Very thoughtful. Also managed to find my part is under warranty and saved me money on parts. Highly recommend. Not too sure what market price is for labor and inspection but I paid $65 for inspection and $370 for labor for switching out the motor. read more

Wow!!! If you are in need of a new A/C unit, this is the company! From Start to Finish it was a pleasurable experience. The lady who answers the phone Natalie is so sweet and personable. Her customer service is Top Notch! She gave me my quote within an hour with multiple unit options and prices which no other company did. She also had someone come measure the same day and was installed the next day. The two men who came to install the unit, one by the name of Coffee and I can't remember the other gentleman name, were really great. They made sure my cats were safe at all times, cleaned up after themselves and were very friendly. They were able to remove my old unit and have the new one installed in less than 6hrs. They sold us the bottom of the barrel unit and less than 2 years later I've gone thru 2 compressors and had to spend over $400 in electrical repairs due to their ineptness. They tried to fix their mistake and offered a "discount". The discount was the same price a new company charged to fix their problem. Sorry I ever trusted them with my ac needs. I called these guys with an air conditioning issue that my tenant in Orlando was having. I live in South Florida so I looked around online, called them up, and they were out there the same day! The tech (I think his name was Jim) was professional, and cleaned up after himself (I cant say this about a lot of HVAC companies I've dealt with in the past). Due to the age of my air conditioner, he wasn't initially sure if he could get it working because it wasn't in the best condition. But he really went above and beyond and got the AC back up and running in just under 2 hours. The price was VERY reasonable and my tenant was happy again. They made the process easy. But the best part was I was not taken advantage of just bc I'm not in the area! Their tech was in direct communication with my tenant so I barely had to do anything.
