I just spent 2 weeks here and fell in love with the staff. First, the hotel is new and has that new boxy type feel with little storage room and smallish rooms. I was lucky to get a corner room with a view of the river, so lucky me! Location is perfect and parking easy. But it's the staff that's makes your time memorable. Every time I walked in I got a hello and smile from EVERY front desk person. That made every long day better. The bar should get its own review... from the one and only Amanda and Ebony to chef Adam (who kills with small plate dishes and conversation) they became my hub for the happy hour to before bed glass of wine. I stayed here for a work trip and loved it. It's located downtown and I could easily walk to coffee in the morning as well as restaurants for lunch and dinner. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. There was construction going on at the hotel and they were extremely accommodating. They let us set up in their business center which was essentially sound proof. I will 100% be staying there when I go back. read more

I have to come to Columbus for work a few times out of the year. I usually stay at a hotel thats nearby and I had been watching this hotel. When I went to book my reservations I decided to give it a try. When I arrived to the hotel it made a great first impression. This hotel is right downtown on Broadway. It's in walking distance to almost everything downtown. This definitely was a plus. Check in was a breeze and off to my room I went. This hotel is new and it looks great and smells even better. When I arrived on my floor, I noticed a housekeeper who had the best spirit. I further learned she was the housekeeping manager. I believe her name was "Katina" I believe. I'm terrible with names but I know the front desk had referred to her as the housekeeping manager. As I walked to my room, she asked me several times as I passed by her if there was anything she could do for me. I loved the hospitality. Over the week I noticed that she is one dedicated employee. She definitely appeared to be the one person who keeps this hotel afloat. Every single time I passed her she greeted me with the biggest, sincerest smile. I had an Amazon package delivered and I had the wrong room number on it, she figured it out and personally delivered it to my room. Everyday I would see her working very hard with a smile on her face. AC you are very lucky to have an employee like her. If I owned my own business, I would definitely want an employee like her. The hotel is nice and new. The bartenders were very lively and engaging. I wished the bar had a more extensive menu. My last night I wanted to eat in but the bar only has small plates. I had the potatoes and they were good but I wanted a whole meal. This is my new go to hotel when in Columbus! read more

We stayed here while going to see Spamalot at The Springer Opera house. It was a great room and extremely spacious. While the hotel had a lot of guests from different events going on in the area, it was not noisy at all which was nice. I did want to try out the bar and tapas downstairs but there is always next time. The room was extremely clean, comfortable, and overall really great. It's also across the street from Kilwins and Rocket Fizz so you can get some really good snacks and within walking distance of a ton of restaurants. Only thing I wasn't really fond of was the parking but you cab only so so much with the space. We both said we would definitely go again. read more

At check in, I was greeted by a very friendly lady in a dress and blazer. She was very helpful. There was another lady in a gray uniform that just stared at me. The gentleman that works overnight was helpful and Justin. Other than that the experience of this hotel was a headache. The hotel is very unorganized. Restaurant and lounge did not open on time, when brought to staff, their reply was "We can't help that, things happen, we're trying our best". The shower was nasty, it had black stuff in it and pink residue, thank goodness I travel with my own cleaning products, but shouldn't have to at a hotel of this price bracket. The shower gel was out and had to request more. Justin was so nice to bring it to our room. We also had to request soap to wash out hands but they were nice to bring it to our room as well. There was trash left over from the previous people who stayed in out room but I just threw it away. After checking out I noticed they overcharged my card. We paid the deposit at check in and noticed they charged me an additional deposit after checkout. This additional charge was not on the bill they sent after I requested a copy, I called and they said they didn't see the extra charge so I ended up having to dispute it with my bank. This was a major headache.We should've stayed at the Indigo, but wanted to give this new place a try, but we know for next time. The only good thing about this establishment is it's location and a few staff members that work here that provide great customer service. They need some work, hopefully they'll get these things worked out. read more

Nice, clean and very accommodating hotel. Called very late at night in need of a last minute room. Our current place had roaches, and we needed a clean place to sleep. The front desk staff was very helpful and even found me a discount. Room was immaculate and bed was comfortable. Nice clean lobby and bar area. This place is great! The customer service is top notch. I like the design of the hotel rooms, no old ugly carpets, lots of lighting, lots of places to charge your electronics, spacious, lots of pillows on the beds. Very clean. Great neighbors with lots of places to eat within walking distance. Would highly recommend. read more

We attended a reunion and stayed at the AC. My understanding is that it's a recently opened hotel. I'd have given it a 4 because their staff is very friendly. Especially the front desk folks and the bartenders. The room was clean when we got there. Which brings me to our biggest complaint. They clean the rooms every fourth day. Seriously? By the third day our trash cans were overflowing and we were out of coffee, shampoo and conditioner. I went to the front desk and asked why our room wasn't being cleaned and was informed about their really stupid every fourth day policy. The person that I was talking to offered to have housekeeping resupply us with what we need. I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO ASK FOR EXPENDABLES! They don't stock 4 days worth of coffee/sugar/creamers/shampoo/conditioner in the rooms. I was a professional traveler in my working days and NEVER had this kind of experience. The breakfast buffet was also disappointing. The food was pretty good..... when there was food to select. They ran out of a surprising number of items to include coffee. A decent buffet doesn't let anything completely run out. They resupply before that happens. It's likely that we'll be back in Columbus in the future. It's doubtful that we'll stay at the AC. read more

VERY noisy. Hard floors add for a very noisy experience. I'm here on a Tuesday/Wednesday for business and I can't sleep. This is in the middle of night and the culprits are college aged kids. I'm 33 and can understand partying until 3 am, trust me. A couple was fighting by the elevator at 2:25 am. I thought surely the cops would come over that one. I was awakened at 12:10 AM by loud music and partying above me and next door. No games in town, no concerts around, nothing.. a simple Taco Tuesday set this place ablaze. OFF. THE. HINGES. Very "nice" looking place. But man, this was a rough night. read more

The hotel lobby was great. Smelled nice. Our room was on the 5th floor and at first glance was nice. However, we stayed for 4 days and no one would clean our room, replace toilet paper or towels for 3 adults. It was disgusting service from a Marriott. My husband had to go buy stuff from a local store to clean the toilet in our room & it was just gross. We were there to visit my son on leave from Fort Moore for the weekend pass. We have never felt more disrespected than we did here. I would not recommend. If you choose to stay here plan to bring your own toilet paper, fresh towels & clean bedding bc even though we asked them kindly over 6 times during our stay we got no assistance. I plan to call Marriott directly for this stay. Never in my life had a bad stay at a Marriott, but this was absolute trash. I do not recommend especially if you need some place for your brand new Soldier to call home for 4 days. The ventilation was filthy & covered in dust in the room. I'm unsure why they would not refresh our room. The recycling trash cans in the room are gross after 4 days & no one to empty them. They smelled. They do not contain liners. Horrible experience overall & next trip to this area will be with Hilton. read more

Five stars well deserved! Alisa and all the front staff were super accommodating. My entire family had travel to columbus for a wedding and the hotel was super understanding and let us enjoy ourself in the beautiful lobby.
