    Horrible customer service. Would give ZERO stars if allowed. Have been extremely disappointed 3/4…read moretimes (4 times out of necessity) at the McCain Blvd, NLR, AR location. Most recently at 4:30PM, Sat 3/16/19 with a screw in my Bridgestone 22" tire that I had purchased at this very location with additional road hazard. Standing face to face with the very polite and professional older gentleman at the counter, he caught Paul, the service mgr, coming through the lobby and asked him if they could take care of me. Paul immediately and rudely screamed at him (right in front of me) "Only if you want to be here until 9!" (closing time was 7PM - a full 2&1/2 hours before closing), then stormed outside. Both of us stood there in disbelief for a moment, then the gentleman told me "I guess not". I followed Paul outside and told him I would absolutely never be back and he in a smart-ass tone told me "Sorry you feel that way sir". My wife called the Cantrell Rd, LR, AR location and Jay, the mgr, told her to send me right away. I drove 20+ minutes away (when the NLR location is 300 yards from my home) and Jay personally took care of me on the spot. He could not have been more professional, polite, and accommodating. I cannot imagine a business that sells and installs a product, also sells the repair service for that product, that refuses to service the product it sold, for a fee!; nor a business that cares not how much business it has. OK, follow-up: Both corp customer service (emailed me) and Chaz (sp?), store manager, called me personally and discussed incident. He was courteous and professional and told me he had investigated and was handling internally. I am pleased with the response of concern and changed to 3 stars. It still put me and my family in a potentially severe predicament but that's all I can ask for. I commend a company that will listen, as many don't.

They told me that they had availability at 2pm, so it was a good idea to bring it in as soon as possible. I brought it in just before noon. I spent 6 hours at the mall, waiting for a call. I only got an update when I called them at 6:10pm. They said the mechanic just got under my car. I told them, "okay, I will walk back over." They called back a couple minutes later and said "they were able to start it, but not finish it. So do you want to leave it overnight with us?" I said, "haha, no, because I need to get home... so if you guys can just put the car parts back and then I will bring it back tomorrow... that would be great. They said "okay." I get back there and said I was there to pick up my car and "it was my mistake to not take that 2pm appointment, so I want to set up an appointment for tomorrow." Another guy walked in and said, "oh, your car isn't drivable. Did Sean not tell you?" I said, "No, the only time I got an update was when *I* called you." He said, "oh, yeah, the whole shifting cable needs to be replaced and we can't even call about that until Monday because it's a dealership part." First of all, I don't usually go to this mechanic because the last time I was there (which was over 5 years ago) they were super condescending to me and I left there in tears. I only came back here because it was the closest mechanic to me that was open on a Saturday. Secondly, I told them I had an appointment to replace my front brakes, and they nicely offered me a sale on their brakes, which I was going to take since the only thing I came in for was a simple bushing replacement. The guy who I dropped my car off with was nice and is the only reason this isn't a 1 star rating. Third, I don't know how mechanic hours work, but why start a bumper to bumper inspection if you can't finish the job? Because I drove the car there just fine, they MADE IT not driveable. So because of them, I had to walk home because the only person who could help me was in Rome at the time and I wasn't going to take an Uber because I need to save up all the money I can in order to afford this mechanic bill that I expect is going to cost around $500 based on a quick google search on how much a shifting cable costs, not to mention, labor... I won't return to Firestone again. I can see why they have such a low rating on here. Should have listened to by gut and not gone back. A friend of mine who works security at the mall also said Firestone will keep the security vehicle at the garage for over a week sometimes, and they need that security vehicle for their job.

    I had ordered 4 new tires over the phone the day before and contacting my credit card company of…read morethe amount since it was a high purchase with the quote given to me on the phone, and I had asked the total price with taxes included, balancing, mounting, and was given a certain quote. I had told the person on the phone that I would be sending my credit card with my husband to pay, but NOT ONCE did they tell me there was an extra 3% surcharge if paid with a credit card; they mounted the tires, put them on my car, and when done than they decide to tell my husband of the 3% surcharge that was like $18.00 more added on if he swiped my card, but what was he supposed to do just drive off, that's theft or have them remove my tires?? My husband had went inside and even repeated the quote back to them before the tires were mounted, and NOT ONCE was anything said about a surcharge or asked how he would be paying for them. They didn't even have a sign placed in a visible location that stated the surcharge; it was located on a bulletin board as you entered the garage area where customers aren't allowed. Now how is that even legal? I called back up there after my husband informed me of the situation once he was back home. I tried to explain to them that I WAS NOT informed about the surge charge beforehand and I wasn't expecting to pay that extra $18.00, I got met with them NOT caring and rudeness to the point I told them I'll NEVER do business with them again! Now, if they had informed me that they charged the surcharge on Credit cards I could have made a choice if I wanted to finish the transaction on the phone, but they took that from me by forcing my husband's hand to have to swipe my card after the service because he didn't have the cash to give or a check to write and that is just Bad business ethics and just plain wrong!! ERR!

    Our office van had a flat in our parking lot and we were unable to properly jack it up to put on…read morethe spare. Even if we could, we would still have to drive somewhere else to have someone fix it on their schedule. On Call quickly sent a repair truck and they were able to jack up the van, remove the tire, repair it and put it back on in a matter of minutes right there in our parking lot. Very convenient.
