Armature is a hidden gem. Located behind Popeye's on Broadway in North Little Rock, you'd never…read moreknow it was there among the residential homes. I found them with a Google search when I needed to have my car towed from my driveway to a place to have a belt replaced, or so I thought. I called the usual places on McCain and was given a higher price and the suggestion of the a longer wait time. Armature quoted a good price and said they could work on my car the same morning I called. They were courteous, thorough, and most of all honest. The plan was to put a new belt on so my power steering would work again. When I arrived to pick up my car, I was given a much lower price. When I asked why, I was told that my original belt was fine. It had only slipped. Therefore I only had to pay for labor, which was very reasonable. That's what I mean by honest. They could have easily replaced the belt anyway or kept my old belt on and told me it was new and I would not have known the difference. I had to make a 2nd visit recently, and it was just as pleasant. I don't think they are a full-service repair shop, I think they may just specialize in alternators, starters, belts, and selling parts. It's best to call them to see. And don't let the area frighten you. Again, it's just off of Broadway. Although the street is quiet, people are in and out and the garage doors are open, at least in the summer. I don't believe they keep cars overnight, but I could be wrong. And I don't know much about car parts, but they've literally got piles of them. Very happy with my experience with them.
