I am a single woman in my mid life. I called this company based on an emergency plumbers…read morerecommendation. I just moved into my condo at the end of January. one month later the place sprung a leak in the laundry room inside the drywall. I woke up to a soaked hallway and a half soaked bedroom. This company was refereed by an emergency plumber from A absolute plumbing. Based on the extent of water damage and this plumbers recommendation I called Quality Care. They came in that afternoon with a few workers and cut out about three square feet of carpet and drywall, left blowers and a dehumidifier for three days. I was charged $3800. alone for water damage remediation. They wanted to charge me $10,000. total to come back and do the repairs. The homeowners insurance gave me a specified amount to fix the damage. When I told Dane the amount allocated for repairs he said to me " we can ask your homeowners insurance company to allow for supplemental coverage". My home owners insurance adjuster never received a call from them to work out the differences in cost. Quality Care didn't follow through with connecting with my adjuster and frankly took advantage of my situation. I sent this estimate to my insurance adjuster, and after my complaints and persistence I was reimbursed by Allstate insurance for my out of pocket expense. I'm glad Allstate was there for my homeowners claim but shame on Quality Care for their inflated and incorrect charges when I was in need of water repair damage. I do not recommend this company and I'm quite upset that I never received the $100.00 I should have received from Dane for work that was never done. Internet advertising doesn't make a company good. Their work and accountability does!
