Months later, this same dental office charged me a fee for the services provided on an annual checkup, after assuring me that I would not be charged and that insurance was covered. Upon inquiring about this bill, I was spoken to in a very aggressive manner, and was provided no help to resolve the matter. Needless to say. I could not recommend this dentist any less.

I decided to also come here and get a cleaning and a full set of of x-rays. I checked in and filled out paperwork with Marilyn, who was very nice. She researched my insurance and let me know ahead of time the cost. Chis was my hygienist and she spent a good amount of time taking panoramic x-rays and really cleaning my teeth. Chris was very upbeat, cheery and pleasant. She was very conscious to check with me to make sure I wasn't experiencing any pain. Once she was done Dr. Parnika Bhatag came in examined my teeth and gave me a plan to get back on track. Dr. Bhatag was very professional, along with her entire staff. The office itself was very neat clean and comfortable. Soft Care Dental is located in downtown Warren in the strip mall near Alfie's Restaurant. There is plenty of free parking. Soft Care Dental also has evening hours during the week. You can book your appointments online, or call like I did. Me personally, I always double check my appointments. Unfortunately, we've recently experienced a few issues that have caused us to lose confidence. The first was a medical concern: a shard of titanium was left inside my son's tooth after a procedure. We were told this happens, but it was not removed, which is concerning to us. The second was a financial policy issue: my husband's recent appointment was canceled because he was only informed of his full out-of-pocket cost on the day of service, rather than in advance. When he was unable to pay the full amount that day, he had to cancel, and he was later refused service entirely. We feel these incidents reflect a concerning lack of attention to both patient care and communication. This focus on financial policies over the well-being of long-term patients has been a major turnoff for us. As a result, we will be transferring the dental records for our family of four to a new provider.
