First off the customer service is A+. The young lady at the counter is always so friendly and welcoming. The acai bowls and portions are just perfect! Love the fact that they have a size option. Cute place that is now added to our favorite places in Winter Park! My only comment is that I wish they were open late every day. :)

I had the pleasure of discovering Açaí n'Me today. It's a small family owned business that has the BEST and most fresh Açaí bowls in Orlando. I got the strawberry cream (made with coconut milk) and açaí combination with all the toppings. It was delicious. Excuse the messy picture, because I just took the lid off the to go bowl at work. They have so many different toppings, oils/butters you can drizzle, and powders to place on top. I feel healthier already!

So good! The owners are nice, the food is fresh and the place is adorable. It's my favorite Açaí place.

We stopped here since it was one of the closest spots to the golf course, but I was pretty disappointed. The biggest issue is that it is not actually a bowl, it is served in a cup. It makes it really difficult to enjoy all the toppings together since you can only eat one layer at a time, which defeats the purpose. The granola portion was also lacking, and you do not get to choose the amount. The ingredients themselves tasted good, but the execution made the whole experience underwhelming. On top of that, there was only one employee running everything during a busy Sunday around noon. I felt bad for her, but it did slow things down a lot. We had to wait while she made multiple orders before even being able to place ours, with a line forming behind us. I understand if it was a slower weekday, but during a peak time it just did not seem set up for success. I honestly wish I had not brought our cousins here for their first acai experience.

The design inside is minimalist and is definitely a place you could easily sit and relax in. We got the Tiger bowl which is an acai bowl with granola, double strawberry, peanut butter and protein and decided to add bananas which in theory sounds delicious. It comes in a smoothie cup for some reason which makes the amount of toppings you get much less than when you get bowls in other stores and it's filled to the top which also sounds great but awful considering the "bowl" comes layered so if you want to try the layers together it gets messy quite quickly. Once we got to the protein layer, we quickly found out it was raw protein powder. Just a layer of protein powder in the middle of the "bowl" is insane and takes up quite a bit of the space so you're getting less of everything else for something that could easily have just been mixed in from the beginning. After getting to the protein powder layer, it quickly ruins the rest of the layers as the powder doesn't mix well and clumps up everything and makes it gritty and close to inedible. And all in all, the "bowl" came out to around $23 before tip. Whilst normally I'm understanding of places having bad days, open to trying other things even after having a poor experience once and some menu items just not being for me, I would personally never want to return.

When I asked what they recommended, they said they hadn't tried anything, and they seemed like they'd rather be anywhere else. Still, the food and laid back atmosphere were enough that I'd go back. Updating my review: I went back because I wanted to give them another chance and I brought some friends with me. Honestly, I didn't think the service could get any worse, but somehow it did. When we walked in, the two girls behind the counter didn't even acknowledge us. They didn't say hi, didn't come up to the register, nothing. We were the only people there, and I actually had to ask if someone could help us. I asked a few questions about the menu, and they couldn't answer a single one. Not because they were new or didn't know, but because they genuinely didn't seem to care. The whole interaction felt lazy and like we were bothering them just by being there. If I owned this place, I would 100% have some kind of customer service training because these employees truly do not care about the business. What really sucks is we all just moved to the area and were excited because we loved the food and area it's in. But that feeling of being unwanted or like you're inconveniencing someone just by asking them to do their job isn't worth it. After we left, my friends didn't even have words. We all looked at each other like, "What was that?". I felt bad because I picked the place. It's a shame because the food is really good, but there are plenty of other places with the same kind of food where the employees actually make you feel welcome.

I ordered the Japanese BBQ Wrap (low net carb tortilla with romaine, roasted chicken, napa cabbage, carrots, avocado, crispy wontons, Bachan's Japanese BBQ Sauce, & teriyaki dressing). It was a good wrap! A little high in filler greens, but there was enough of the other good stuff to make this feel like it was worth the price of admission. I'd ask for more sauce, though, always.

I'd heard about…read moreBricks & Bowls before (as well as the Ghost Kitchen concept), so we decided to give it a try. I was immediately drawn to the Ghost Pepper Chicken sandwich. I noticed they offered a Boxed Lunch combo that included a half-brick focaccia sandwich, a choice of side, chips, and a cookie. Under the Soups & Sides section of the menu, I saw soups, salads, fruit, chips, and bread listed, so I asked if I could get the Kale Caesar Salad as my side. I was told it wasn't considered a side. That struck me as a little odd since it was listed under "Soups & Sides," but I didn't press the issue and instead ordered the sandwich and salad separately. I do wish there had been a sandwich-and-salad combo option, especially since it's Florida and 100 degrees outside--hot soup wasn't exactly calling my name that day! The Ghost Pepper Chicken sandwich was a bit dry, and I didn't notice much Swiss cheese or enough ghost pepper bang sauce to add much heat or moisture. On the plus side, the focaccia bread was fantastic, and the sandwich was piled high with sliced chicken. Even the half-brick size was plenty filling. The Kale Caesar Salad was much smaller than expected and, ironically, seemed like it would have fit perfectly as a combo side. It also contained more romaine than kale, with just a sprinkling of baby kale on top. The Caesar dressing, however, was excellent--rich, creamy, and full of flavor. At $6 for a small bowl, I was hoping for a little more substance. I also treated myself to the Belgian Chocolate Salted Caramel Cookie that would have come with the Boxed Lunch combo, and it was outstanding. Soft, gooey, and packed with flavor. Bricks & Bowls has a pleasant outdoor seating area in a courtyard setting, with tables shaded by large umbrellas. Just keep in mind that there is no indoor seating, and even with the shade, it can be pretty warm during a Florida summer. Overall, it was a decent first experience with some highlights and a few disappointments. The food had some strong points, particularly the focaccia bread, dressing, and cookie, but at around $20 for a quick-service lunch, I left feeling that the value didn't quite match the price.
