I HAD HIGH HOPES, DIDN'T LOVE IT. All around: 2/5 I think the place is so cute and in a great little area. I love that they sell boars head, and have a cute little menu with drinks and food. However. the customer service could use a little bit of help; both workers were quiet and didn't really have a warm welcoming. Smoothie: 1/5 I did not like the warm temp of the smoothie, I didn't like the consistency, or the taste. I am new to the area and I will admit I am a smoothie snob! For some reason in the Downey - Montebello area it is extremely hard to find a great smoothie! I will not be back. My friends have been talking about this place all week and finally got to try it. Definitely worth the hype! My favorites are the chipotle chicken ciabatta (perfect taste and crunch) and classic pagode açaí bowl (fresh ingredients and perfect amount of agave). My friends got the MFD sandwich, mod tuna sandwich, and sao paulo açaí bowl and they all enjoyed it! Will be back to try different items on the menu when I'm back in Downey!
