I received a sleep study with this organization last year in August and September 2024. For the…read moremost part my insurance covered what I expected, but this 1 star review is for the lack of care I received after the study. My health information on the POLYSOMNOGRAPHY REPORT says "The patient's comprehensive subjective sleep disorders questionnaire was not completed due to a language barrier," this is insane to me as I speak perfect English. I had an appointment with the person who replies to the Yelp messages, Dr. Henry Qiu. The appointment went fine, but I was then referred to Cassandra to schedule a follow up to see what my options were. This last communication happened in September 2024. Today at 5:39 AM, I receive an extremely vague email saying my health information is available if I click a link. I try multiple times to log in with my gmail, to success might I add, but every time I log in it redirects me back to gmail to click the link and start the process over again. I cannot access, nor do I even know what is supposed to be found with this link. I email Cassandra and she tells me to log into gmail which I have already done and there is no further help. I called and left a voicemail and well as a text expressing my frustrations, but am waiting to hear back any resolution. I'm publicly posting this here as I think it's rather unacceptable to be reached out to a year after receiving services and in such a vague scammy way. This company needs to do better at keeping their communication with their patients in check, I was supposed to have a follow up last year, and when I didn't ever hear back, I knew I would not want to continue working with this company. This email put a further bad taste in my mouth, I should not be directed to Canva to click another link that leads to me having to login to Gmail multiple times to no end. I expect a follow up either here, over the phone, or email. This was a rather disappointing waste of time, and I'm lucky that my sleep was sorted out on my own as I don't believe this company was looking out for my health at all.

I am grateful for the support they have provided and have nothing but positive things to say about them. Unfortunately, my experience with Accumen Healthcare's administrative staff has been the complete opposite. I have made repeated attempts over several weeks to obtain a copy of my own medical records. I have left multiple voicemails for my care coordinator, Caroline Villegas, as well as messages in other voicemail boxes. I have also emailed Intake Coordinator Maria Manrique numerous times and left at least four voicemails for her. On the one occasion I was able to reach Maria, I was told that my file had to be reviewed by a director before my records could be released. I was never given a clear explanation as to why this review was necessary, nor was I provided with a timeline for when I would receive my records. At Maria's request, I promptly completed the required DocuSign authorization on June 26, 2026, authorizing the release of my records. Since then, despite multiple follow-up emails and phone calls, I have received no response. The lack of communication became so concerning that my attorney sent a formal letter reminding Accumen Healthcare of my rights under California law and HIPAA to obtain copies of my own medical records and requesting an estimated production date. Even after that correspondence, I still have not received my records or any meaningful communication regarding the delay. The issue is not simply the delay--it's the complete lack of communication. Patients deserve to have their calls and emails returned, to be kept informed about the status of their requests, and to receive timely access to their own medical records. I sincerely hope Accumen Healthcare improves its administrative processes and patient communication. The quality of care I received from Leizer Meyer and Josh Reinoso deserves to be matched by the professionalism and responsiveness of the administrative staff.
