I kept seeing this place all over TikTok, so I decided to stop by and try the tiramisu latte. The shop itself is pretty small, so it feels more like a grab-and-go spot rather than somewhere to sit and hang out. The parking lot is also small, and street parking can be limited when it's busy. Luckily, when I went there wasn't anyone there, so finding parking was easy. As for the drink, the tiramisu latte was just okay. The coffee itself was actually pretty smooth and not bitter, which I liked. However, the tiramisu foam mostly tasted like plain cream and didn't really have that distinct tiramisu flavor. I think it could have used another pump of flavor or something to make it stand out more. Overall, it wasn't a bad latte, but it also didn't have a unique taste or anything memorable that would make me order it again.

I got the cookie butter latte... and why did it taste like banana?? I'm still confused lmao. Not bad, just unexpected. My boyfriend got the s'mores latte -- and honestly... take away the marshmallows and it's just a regular mocha in disguise Cute for a quick dessert stop, but flavor-wise... a little plot twisty lol.
The service was 10/10 sweetest person ever and they even gave us an extra cookie they deserve more recognition!!
Today was my first time going. They had a sign on the door stating that they would open at 11 a.m. due to their power being out. So I waited until 11:15 a.m., and a worker came out and said, "Sorry, but our power is still out. Would you like some of the pastries that I have?" I said, "Sure, thank you." So she gave me five different pastries and a horchata coffee, all for free. I will for sure go back to try some of the items that I wanted to try.

I ordered the cookie butter latte and was immediately confused. It didn't look like cookie butter at all and tasted like a watered-down regular latte. For $8, it was a huge disappointment. I ended up throwing it away because it just wasn't drinkable. The atmosphere wasn't welcoming either. There was only one person actually making drinks while multiple orders were coming in, which felt ridiculous. One employee was juggling four drinks at once while another person just stood around looking for something to do. I can't help but think that's why the quality was so bad. Overall, very disappointed with this experience. Definitely a reminder to do more research before trying TikTok spots.
I love love love this place! The coffee and pastries are delicious. The staff is always friendly and I love aesthetic inside. There's some small parking to the side of the building and out front but I've never had an issue - not much seating inside, so I think that helps keep the parking manageable.
My sister told me about La Casa Dulce so I had to give it a try. When we first walked in it was so beautiful, so cute definitely aesthetically pleasing. We were greeted by three staff members which I thought was awesome. The customer service was great. Cashier was very friendly and the young lady behind the desserts counter answered any questions that we had. There were so many goodies and sweet treats in the glass case it was almost hard for me to decide. I ended up getting a Cinnabon and my sister got a Biscoff Cinnabon. We both got matchas, I don't normally get Matcha, but I decided to give it a try. I got a Biscoff Matcha with almond milk and cold foam iced and it was actually really delicious. My sister got a banana Matcha. She liked it. I think I might be a Macha girly now because my drink was on point! I was a little disappointed by the Cinnabon's. They were very dry, emphasis on very dry. We tried warming it up for a few seconds to soften it and melt the frosting at the top. I feel like that made it harder. I probably should've got like a muffin or a cupcake or a coffee cake. Definitely when I go back, I'll get one of those.

Parking is veryyyy limited, there is a plaza next door to it so you can probably park there and just walk over. All the pastries they had in display looked so yummy I wanted to try multiple ones but I held back lol. The one I got was delicious, it wasn't overly sweet which I enjoyed. The banana matcha was ok, the banana flavor tasted artificial and syrupy. I probably won't get it again, maybe just a regular matcha cus the matcha itself was good. Overall, cute place and should try it out if you're thinking about it

I believe this coffee shop is fairly new. Owner said they opened the 2nd week of December. Feels very warm inside. Food was good I got the biscoff brownie lots of flavor in it. The drinks were very good! I like my drinks on the sweeter side and this definitely hit that mark. There is parking in the back and the front this coffee shop is easy to spot it is directly across the new 7-11 gas station on Lakewood. A must visit if you are near by
Drinks are amazing. A bit on the sweeter side so if you like your coffee a bit sweeter these are for you. Everyone working is really nice.
So good. I had the Spanish latte with oat milk. Also tried the pesto croissant so delicious. I had to try the cheesecake and that was to die for good. I definitely will be back to try more pastries because they all look so scrumptious.

never tried their drinks before so I can't speak on that but their pastries are soooo good! My favorite is the strawberry & dubai chocolate croissant (not pictured here bc it didn't make it home ) I bought four and paid $25 read more
Very limited parking in their lot but you can park on the street. It's also quite small inside. They have a bench which is nice while you wait for your drinks/pastries. Customer service was okay, not much of an interaction. It was very packed on a Sunday afternoon but my drink came out very fast. I tried the Spanish latte with oat milk which was good but nothing special. I definitely want to come back and try the cookie butter latte. read more

The coffee is perfectly matched with whatever delightful sweetness you pair it with. Smooth coffee. The patisserie is on another level than other bakeries. Their leading an creating wonderful pastries like the croissant chocolate chip cookie. It was super delicious. read more

Visited a Sunday morning and the place was packed. Someone asked, it's my first time where do I order and the lady behind the counter said "I think this is the line it kind of goes around". I think an order here sign and a pickup here sign would be good. I ordered the cafe de olla hot and was equivalent to a coffee from a donut shop but double the price. Not worth it, it needs some work. The Spanish latte was decent, very pricy for the quality, it came with a stale lady finger. The pasties is definitely the best part of this place, I have some suggestions. First I'd say labeling the pastries correctly and staff knowing what is out. I asked for the biscoff roll that was labeled as a pistachio roll. I asked for the croissant muffin and lady had to look at what I was talking about because she didn't know what I was talking about. Another suggestion is to have rolls and muffins ready and maybe prepare them as they're ordered? This way they can be warmed the topped with toppings. The bread is so soft and it's decent but warming it would make it a lot better. A cold cinnamon roll is just not it. This spot was unfortunately disappointing but I hope they do grow and get better because they have a good concept read more

I go for the coffee mostly. They always have the best coffee but don't expect it to be quick and ready like Starbucks they take their time to perfect the drinks they are worth it- the flavor is unmatched. My fave coffee spot in Downey. Not to mention they have a simple dessert glass case for single serve if you want something quick. I've gotten the biscoff cheesecake shooter and caramel panda cotta and even cinnamon rolls. They are constantly rotating desserts every day; so if you like something get it because it isn't guaranteed to be there again; not to mention they're aesthetically pleasing and great little single serve options. Everything is amazing. They're on the sweeter side but they can also adjust if you want more espresso taste. Come here frequently and highly recommend. read more

The pastries are dry and do not have much flavor to them. I had ordered a cinnamon bun warmed and three drinks and we were waiting for a good 25 mins and when our drinks were ready the cinnamon bun was cold, i told the worker that i had asked for it to be warmed and he popped it in the microwave for 5 seconds and then gave it to me. The service isn't the best either. The place is very aesthetically pleasing but the actual Food/drinks are not good matcha was not good at all it tasted more like water + milk. read more
