I can only speak for the raspados, for which I speak at the top of my lungs for. The house made flavors are decadent AF. I know that's not usual for raspados, but trust, try em and you won't be disappointed. Their technique when making the raspado makes it so there is flavor all the way through to the bottom. The vanilla, tamarindo, pina, fresa, and fresa con crema all fire. Have them mix the pina and tamarindo, flavor level stupid. I live in Whittier but will make the trip just for a raspado. The service is quick and worked with a smile.

Came to this spot for a raspado de vainilla and a spicy apple with toppings. Both were very delicious and the ladies working were very nice and welcoming. It is a hot day and the raspado is perfect. If i could give 0 stars I would give it .. I do not recommend it because the same person who makes the juices is the one who charges, Touching money .. This is my go to esquite place! I have gone to a lot of places looking for the perfect mixture and flavors and this place does it best! It's perfectly heated and I love a little spice and this place definitely gives you what you want. The quantity is amazing and the menu has been growing. They now add chips to many of the orders. Their raspados are too die for, they have real fruits incorporated into the topping and everything is fresh! I'm yet to try their sandwiches/tortas! The raspados are the reason I keep going back!!! They're sooooo good! I've tried their esquite and their corn is always hard :( I'm only writing this review so they can step up their esquite game. OMG. WOW. This place is the place to be. You want a fresh pressed juice? It's here. You need a juice for diabetes? It's here. You want a juice for weight loss ?it's here. Whenever I am craving any sweets this is when I go. The customer service is excellent. There is always someone cleaning and the lines are long but are worth it. I've driven by this place a lot of times. I finally decided to give it a try the other day. I ordered a Bionico. Fresh fruit and very presentable. Really sanitized as well. I like to try out new Bionicos places from time to time. They're a bit over prize on some of their menu. I don't mind paying but at least give a nice amount of quantity. 2 stars because food is pretty good specially Nachos and love the mangoneadas from there, too bad today was my last day going for mangoneadas due to the ridiculous increased in price for it. Less than a year ago the price was $1.25 they went up to $1.50 and now they are up to $2.00 not to mention they charge me $0.50 xtra for asking for xtra chamoy. The cup is really small and mangoneadas are half way down so to fill the cup a little i ask for xtra chamoy which they charge me for. Total price is $2.50 when anywhere else u get it for less than $2.00 for a decent cup size. Besides that, most of the girls working there have an attitude when owner is not there. Use to be a loyal customer to them because of Mangoneadas point is i wont be going there anymore. You have to be reasonable with your prices if u want to increase prices increase portion. read more

Edible. I had a turkey sandwich and chacuimango. Nothing special about the place. The sandwich was missing something...and the drink was just a weird spin off the chamangos you find in most places. Was looking forward to it because of the reviews and referrals from a few people but this is not a spot I'd revisit. Customer service was good, reasonably priced, and the place was clean. read more

I had my whole day planned out with a list of events to attend but first I wanted to stop by Patria and grab some coffee to start my morning off. Located in a parking lot next to Wilson Park on Compton Blvd and Alameda Street you'll find this nice cut lawn in front of this small white building, Patria Coffee Roaster. Depending on your time of arrival, the parking lot can be full but it's cool cuz there's also street parking available. I was able to park in the lot. After walking in I was welcomed and greeted with positive energy from 2 young ladies who I forgot their names but we'll just call them "A" and "C" lol. A guy to my right was sitting next to the window working on his laptop. And two others against the wall sipping their coffees and doing whatever on their phones. A customer was at the register ordering while another customer walked in to stand in line behind me. I let her go in front of me while I took pics and recorded footage. I like the atmosphere and space a lot. It has a very nice decor. Artwork, pictures and murals with history displayed along the walls. Grab and cold drinks available for purchase. Nice music playing that wasn't too loud but just right to complement a chill coffee shop vibe. "A" was friendly and patient as shared with her this was my first visit. As I browsed thru the coffee menu before making my selection I noticed more costumes coming in. I ordered a medium sized Americano which is $3.75 but I requested to add some hazelnut creamer as well as some almond milk which totaled out to $4.75 which was quite exceptional to me. Giving the location, the quality of service and the quality of the coffee. Not to mention to overall experience. I even thru in a $1 tip. I support the business and love the space. It feels welcoming and safe. The restroom was clean. They also have many different events held there. If you're ever in the area definitely pull up and check em' out. It's black owned as well. I actually ended up sitting there in the lot sipping my coffee while working on my video to post on social media. The coffee was good and tasteful. Didn't need any sugar. They have art on the walls, pictures, plants, community flyers/events, and statements that make you feel safe and at home. The staff is so friendly and welcoming too! There is a little parking lot right next to the shop and we didn't find it hard to find a spot. There is a park next door so I can imagine on the weekends, parking might be a bit tricker. Loved that we found a local gem like Patria and will def be back!

I also ordered a raspberry, white chocolate and cashew cookie to share with my fam once I got home. Yes, we were able to share and enjoy 1 cookie. It was delicious. We've never had anything like it. Their theme is Friends and being a fan of the show, I think there is potential to get more creative with their decor. I do like that they have books and boardgames for their guests. They also keep the music level down making the coffee house a very cozy place. I want congratulate Cake and Coffee House for creating a such special menu. I came to buy a few stuff from this place today and order some tacos for the first time here but they didn't add any sauce for my tacos. Only lettuce and hardly any meat when I said I wanted everything on them. The tortilla is not even cooked right and all cold. It's not the same service like how it was at the beginning. read more

Like other yelpers, this is my favorite spot for raspados! My favorite is the raspado de Chongos, or the coco with pineapple. They are to die for! I've never had any raspados that taste so good like the ones here. All the flavors are delicious. During weekends it does tend to get a bit packed but it's worth the wait. read more
