    Cali-Style Burrito

Burrito Social is such a gem! We stopped in on a quiet Sunday and met one of the friendliest bartenders on our trip. He shared recommendations, checked on us often and was such a fun guy to chat with. We knew the food wouldn't disappoint (thank you, Yelp) and true to form, it didn't. I ordered Cabo style grilled shrimp tacos and my guy ordered a massive Cali style burrito. Fresh ingredients make all the difference and when you're in the Caribbean, it's easy to taste the difference. Our margaritas were great - and if you're a spicy fan, order it. Nope, it's not on the menu, but they can make it! Even the chips and rich tomato based in house made salsa was great. Loved the coastal vibe also - blue is my favorite color, lol and I really dig the simple but classy touches. It's cozy, coastal and def somewhere you need to stop into.

I'm briefly visiting San Juan for cruise trip and walked by Burrito Social and tried the beef barbacoa taco and socialite margarita. I was blown away by the flavor of the barbacoa taco . I wasn't really hungry and I want to eat another! The chef was very kind with recommendations!

Drinks and food were amazing. This is probably the best chicken bowl I've ever had. If you are staying in Condado Beach area in Puerto Rico I highly recommend. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Service was little slow but hey we're on vacation so no rush. We sat outside which was nice. There is an inside sitting also if you prefer to not hear that noise from outside construction.

Carlos was our amazing server! He provided excellent recommendations and was super helpful. The food here is very good and exceeded my expectations. You can eat indoors or outside. Lots of margaritas to choose from. We opted for the regular frozen ones which were sweet and refreshing. The melted manchego queso with mushrooms was so good... I'll be dreaming of this!!! The tacos are very tasty and flavorful. You will not be disappointed here! Don't forget the melted manchego. YUM!

Love this spot, absolutely perfect walking distance of most hotels, next to the beach, quick service, great customer service, indoor and outdoor seating, modern ambiance and most importantly damn good margaritas!!! The food was also very tasty! Definitely must try for a quick lunch!

Cali-Style Burrito with Steak and I got it Wet.

First time in Puerto Rico and was there for a bachelors party. We needed something heavy but tasty for lunch since some of us were still not feeling great and some of us had already gotten at it. Lucky for us we found Burrito Social. They had clearly just opened since only the staff was inside but they quickly seated us. I started off with a Margarita since I knew it had to be good at a place called Burrito Social and what to do know it was. I will say this place has a very large menu. A number of different tacos (like 12+), bowls, quesadillas, and of course burritos. I had to go for the Cali-Style Burrito since it was there "unofficial" house burrito but we all know what that means. This monster comes with fries, pico, salsa, sour cream, cheese, more cheese, guacamole, and bacon with your choice of protein. I of course made it steak for $15.99. You can also get it wet for $4.50. Now I didn't know what the means but I went for it anyway. It didn't take too long for our food to come out an wow mine looked amazing and I quickly got into it. I'm not gonna lie there was some but in this burrito I wasn't also sure what was in each bite but it did taste good and it was filling. Really had to push my self to even finish half of it. Lucky our very friendly waiter got my a box. This place is a little on the pricier side but if you're looking for some good food this is the place to come.

The food and drinks here are reasonably priced. The tacos we had were amazing. We will definitely come back again. The tacos had alot of flavor. We sat at the bar the service was great. We were greated at the door quickly and seated the bartender gave us great choices for tacos. The ambiance is casual with an upbeat vibe.

Was going to Pinky's but went in here. Food was actually bomb that phone forgot to eat first, good vibes, very nice and friendly service

The vibe was great, the food was fresh and well made, and the service was friendly overall. A fun bonus: we actually got to see the famous rock band Maná dining there, which was such a cool surprise! We ordered quite a bit--the chips and queso, chips and guac, hot sauce, tamale, rice and beans, kids cheese quesadilla, and veggie fajitas. The kids' quesadilla was a huge hit with our 5-year-old (who is a picky eater and devoured it). The veggie fajitas were decent and tasty, though for the price I would have liked a bit more on the plate in terms of sides. There was a small hiccup where cilantro was accidentally added to one of my dishes, and it did take quite a while for the corrected dish to come out, but they were very kind about it. That said, everything else was enjoyable and the overall experience was still very good. Overall, a great spot for solid Mexican food in Old San Juan with a fun atmosphere and fresh flavors.

Duck Quesadillas: When I think of a duck quesadilla, I think of something that has a rich profile, but this was surprisingly humble. The duck, mushroom, and cheese all harmonized well to create a symphonic doughy pillow. Definitely recommend it. Grouper Fillet: I don't get the chance to eat Grouper often, but when I do it always hits. I can confidently say that my experience has continued. Despite the bed of sweet potatoes, you could still make out the distinct semi-sweet flavor of the fish. Also the creamy sauce paired perfectly with both the potatoes and fish. Of all the different restaurants I could've chosen, I think this was one of the best ones to end off my night in Old San Juan. Looking forward to coming back!
