Visited this restaurant twice during our visit to Puerto Rico. Lovely drinks, and food options for all. The server were friendly and very helpful with menu suggestion and accommodating with customizing vegetarian meals for us. The first time we got an order of elote and quesadilla. Both were extremely good however the quesadilla was a little spicy and we had to scoop out the jalapenos. The second time, we ordered the same plus an additional order of nachos. We didn't realize until the food arrived that both the nachos and quesadilla had plantains and this time we had to dig and leave out the plantains. But again, no complaints. The overall vibe and food satisfied our souls so we would definitely be back wherever we are in PR. read more

You won't have the best meal of your life here, and if you're looking for that from a fast casual restaurant please check your ego at the door. Food was delicious. Elotes came on the cob & were with Parmesan which is very different than the kind I've had in the states but worked very well. Pastor tacos were a very good recommendation. Mainly impressed with the corn tortilla- softer than anything with corn in the states. Diana was a great bartender with amazing recommendations for margaritas. She made us feel at home. She was very transparent about which margaritas were made from scratch (the juices/syrups) & which ones were bought. She let me try the flavors before getting the margaritas which is going above and beyond for me as a cocktail instructor back home. Cooking time was slow so don't come for a quick bite but we are vacation which a lot of people seemed to be as well. Great experience overall. Place is decorated in a fun Mexican pop art style. Wander over here cause it was a restaurant that was open at 9pm night and it was the closest one to us walking distance wise. We came up to the door and their was a bouncer at the door to greet us and asked us if we were staying or going. We decided to stay and have drinks and take food to go. We order 3 quesadillas, 1 burrito and their tuna poke special. The inside has music bumping and people chatting away. It wasn't as busy until after we were there 15 mins then it got really busy. The only thing that was disappointing about last night was it took an hour for our food to come out. But the piña coladas were so tasty here. This place has the best daily specials! We came on a Wednesday and the waitress told us they had $10.95 fajitas (chicken, steak, fried fish, or veggie) & $5 margs! We got spicy cucumber margs, a watermelon marg, & a coconut marg all at just $5 each - and they were great! My BIG Pregnancy Craving has been 1) Mexican Food & 2) Lemonade I remember the fajitas of this place being really good so we decided to have lunch! It was kinda packed when we arrived, perk there were tables available so we did not have to wait not even a minute! We already knew what we wanted to order so it as soon as our server came, we order drinks (2 waters & Hibiscus juice for me). My juice took a slight while to arrive and when it arrived we did only asked for recommendation of appetizers. We had already ordered the chicken & steak fajitas, noted that we cannot consume lactose so to change the cheese & source cream (which they did for more guac & beans at no extra charge). The server KNOWING we cannot consume lactose recommended the corn (elote). Soooo the Elotes arrived and it is full of cheese and cream after that our server never came back.. I had to call someone else to please change the plate because we told our server we cannot consume lactose. They brought the elotes with lemon & very little Tajín... we were charged $7 for 1 friking corn cut in half... Sorry, but you can purchase the whole bag at costco for this price... After that, the rest of the food came and it was good, but our server NEVER came to bring water or anything.. Someone else ended up bringing all of our food, taking empty plates, bring the tap & charging us for the food. Our initial server waited other tables and ignored ours, after that I saw her in the bar using her phone. Hey, if you're going on a break or something please let the people you are serving aware. Parking can be found in front during off-hours. We had to park about a block or more away. Service was friendly and prompt. Decor is kind of hipster Mexican... if that's a thing. Pricing is a bit high for the amount of food but it's been good each time. They also have some cheap $5 margaritas during certain hours. This is the second time we've been here. First time was great. This time was great. On this visit we ordered the Torta con Cochinita Pibil (Pork Sandwich) and the special, an enchilada plate called Enchiladas Gratinadas Entomatadas. Both were delicious. The sandwich bread was soft but firm and the filling was tasty. The fries it came with were also good. The enchiladas were good. The Mexican rice and beans here are unique in their flavors from the usual Mexican style rice and beans that I am used to. But they were delicious and satisfying. I think this place is pretty good overall. Both times we've been here, we've had a good experience. The service is friendly and prompt but perhaps inattentive at times. The burritos were flavorful and delicious. The sauces provided add some nice heat. My kids loved the nachos, which were loaded to the brim. What a fun restaurant and close to our AirBnb, so win win. The whole place is decked out in rich Day of the Dead themes. There are multiple wallpapers on the wall including a Frida cameo. It feels textural with the different prints. The inside is small, but there are a lot of seats crammed inside, so I can't imagine you'd have to wait long. We sat at a small table by the window and were given a verbal tour of the menu. They have everything printed in Spanish and English which explains all the dishes down to the last ingredient. We chose the frijole dip and chilaquiles and both are highly recommended by me. The chilaquiles was unlike any I've had before.
