Each apartment comes with stainless steel appliances, gray hardwood floors, an updated bathroom, washer/dryer in unit, and a digital intercom. The interior design of the apartments was one of the best I'd seen in this price range and location. The overall building is also secure. You need a fob or code to get in. Delivery packages can also be delivered inside the building through a code instead of being left outside. The apartment's digital intercom also allow you to see who's outside. Management for the building is also very responsive and accommodating. They really try to work with you if any issues to arise. The only downsides of this building are the construction next door and the thin walls.

I contacted Steve and right away he put my mind at ease, which is not a small feat. He explained the different options, conventional, FHA, borrower PMI, Lender PMI, etc. and put no pressure on me what so ever. He also was extremely efficient and knowledgeable with regards to estimated closing costs and quick with advice on how to save money on things like title insurance and homeowners insurance. As luck would have it we fell in love with a home at the end of December and Steve and his team sprung into action. They moved so quick and had everything set up perfectly. He found us an amazing rate the next day and had an offer letter ready the next day as well. Long story short we closed on the house 25 days later, seriously, 25 days later and this is with the new year and MLK day in between. I had expected it to take double that time but Steve absolutely came through for us. And his estimated closing and cash to close numbers were spot on and less than the realtor estimated. Steve is an awesome lender. My only complaint is that he couldn't be our realtor as well because with someone like Steve on your side there is almost no need for one. If you are reading this then do not hesitate to contact Steve, especially if you are like me and have a million questions and feel the need to text and call randomly as thoughts come to you... sorry Steve. As a first time home buyer I had a very specific area I wanted to live in, but not necessarily the budget to do much in that area. Our search was anything but smooth and quick, however John was a complete professional every step of the way. Not once did he try to talk me into spending more than I was comfortable with. We looked at countless houses together over a period of months, and I never felt any pressure from him. This was extremely important to me to find somebody that would advocate for me, not just look to make a quick buck. We tried to buy a short sale, got rejected, then again went for the house at auction. This type of transaction is probably the most frustrating thing I've ever done. We dealt with countless delays to the settlement by the bank and were given the run around by the Ocwen customer service every day. Lets just say this required more than a little extra determination and work ethic on John's behalf. Along the way I never felt like he wanted to give up and go for an easier deal. He actually encouraged me a few times to stay patient. In the end John's perseverance paid off. I truly believe that without his daily phone calls, emails, and eventually getting a lawyer involved, I would not have closed on my home. I have recommended John to all of my friends, and my parents were so impressed they are going to use him for their next move.
