First of all, the receptionist was not very nice. She was being short and seemed very annoyed. Second of all, doctors and nurses were not Thorough with examining me. They told me I have a common cold and sent me home. A couple days later, my symptoms were worsen so I had to go to another urgent care(Immediate Care in Henrietta). They diagnosed me with laryngitis and put me on a nebulizer and sent me home with an inhaler since I had trouble breathing. If I was treated correctly in a first place, I could have been better by now. I will never ever go to Accel Care. read more

Every single person we talked to at AccelCare was professional, kind, efficient: basically, ideal healthcare workers. If the need arises again, I would definitely hurry back to this place. The only downside was that AccelCare does not have a call-ahead list -- this came in handy at another urgent care center when I was able to nurse my concussion in my home vs. a waiting room since they wouldn't be able to see me for an hour anyway -- but we were headed there just before close, so it didn't much matter. There's water and a Keurig in the waiting room. They take $100 before you see a doctor, up to another $100 after, and then send you the bill for the rest. There are also TVs in the waiting rooms, so if it takes a while for a PA to get to you, you're not bored out of your scull. All-in-all, it was as pleasant as I possibly could have hoped for an emergency trip to the doctor. And a heck of a lot faster and cheaper than the ER. read more

Avoid at ALL costs!! I had a fall and arrived in the worst pain of my life. Following x-rays and 30 minutes of small talk about my job, I was sent away with a flimsy sling and a prediction that I would be better in 2 days. The reality was that the doctor there had mis-read the x-ray, and I had a shattered radial head (elbow) and torn ligaments galore. But he sent me home. The car ride was sheet hell as my fractures continued to displace. So, no, I would never, ever go again. read more

This is for the Henrietta Location which isn't posted Location is clean & didn't feel sketchy, there are plenty of seats & a TV available in the waiting area. Service was relatively fast (~10-20 min wait time) when compared to the hospital ED & was always able to resolve the issue. Staff was kind and professional. read more

I highly recommend this center!!! Super nice people who gave us caring and professional services! At firs I was discouraged after reading some of the reviews here, but my friends told me that it's a good place. We went there for a tricky injury, the nurse and the doctor took very good care of it. The waiting room is big and really nice! Cold water and keurig coffee are provided there as well. Additionally, even though I'm self-paid, the price was reasonable. No need for an appointment, and that's like gold here in Rochester!!! Our doctors never gave us an appointment in less than 3 days, and without AccelCare we would have had no option but the emergency room! (which is lots of money even with our insurance). If I could rate with 6 stars, I won't think twice! I would definitely go there if I ever needed. read more

I'm not sure what happened to this place since UofR took over but for a simple health issue we have sat here for over an hour and a half and have seen the nurse for two minutes and the doc for less. It's been 28 minutes since anyone has been in the room and I just went out and asked to be discharged and it's been another 11 minutes and no one has come in here. What's worse is there is NO ONE ELSE HERE!!!!! Under staffed maybe? Either way- go to a different location. I won't do this one again. read more

So my experience was decent I guess! I came here because they accepted my insurance. The front desk lady was nice and personable and my nurse was equally personable. The doctor was very standoffish she seemed aggravated and annoyed. She did the basics and got me out there quick! Now after Checking in there was definitely a wait of like 20 minutes. I did see people go in before me who got there after me but that could also be because it was my first time. Idk if you need an urgent care you can't really be picky but this place isn't the best or worse place you could end up! read more

Although their medical service seemed to be top notch, my problems with them is with their billing practices. I have insurance which shows I only have a $25 copay for urgent care services, and as noted by other users the insist on taking $100 up front anyhow, and also charge for the balance which in my case was an additional $165 at the time of the visit. They say you will get reimbursed once insurance claim is processed. After over a month, I noticed that my insurance company had paid the urgent care company within 2 days. When I called about a refund they sent me to a third party billing company (Patient 1st) who told me that they only will process any refunds once a month, and that I had missed the refund time for the month. After waiting another month with no refund the billing agency was called again as told me that they just processed it but it can take another ten days before they send out the refund. Finally after an additional two weeks I received a check from Patient 1st for only $25, which it turns out was an overcharge from over two years ago that I did not know about, but they still have not refunded the large overcharge from early January. It seems bordering on illegal that a company can insist additional payment over and above what your copay from your insurance card says, and then once they receive the payment from the insurance company not immediately send a check to the patient who is only out the money, because your policy is to charge more than you are due for services that are covered by insurance. The unfortunate part is that the staff and doctors at this location are fine, and I have gone there several times in the past, but it is difficult to overlook the systemic over-billing and their refusal to return funds in a timely fashion. When you talk to the people at the office about your concerns they calmly state, we do not handle the billing so we cannot help you. read more

Do not go here, you will be better off just making a doctors appointment or going to the emergency room..3hours just to get into the back and then seen by 3 different people who all took my vitals listen to my lungs, obviously there is no communication within this facility...complete waste of time... read more

We had a very positive experience at AccelCare My husband had glass imbedded in his foot. From the front desk with Mary, then onto Laura his nurse and Kerry who removed the glass shards all were very professional, very pleasant to deal with. It was a great team effort. I was recently out of town and had a relative taking care of my children. My son became very ill and his pediatrician recommended his caretaker take him to this immediate care. I called from out of state and spoke with the receptionist and gave him all of the details of the situation, and all documentation he would need to proceed in caring for my clearly very ill son. The man on the phone was short with me, more concerned that my child would have a wait (which I assured him I knew I was well aware of and that was ok, I just needed to know that when his turn came up he would be seen) than anything else, but assured me that it would be fine he had all of my documentation. To say that he was rude to my caretaker and my child is a gross understatement. He continued to tell my caretaker that the documentation was not good enough, after he assured me it was fine, was extremely rude to her and my son and even after my sons pediatrician called continued to be short and rude. The documentation I had was fine, he was eventually seen once he finally got up and spoke to a dr. Someone who is clearly uncaring and hateful of people should not be working with them, especially sick people. I give this Urgent Care a 1 star because I have never been so rude to, I will never return and I will make sure everyone I know knows about my experience. read more

My dad and I just left this urgent care and we were not pleased at all with the experience we just had. I understand that it can be quite hectic therefore we all are subjected to longer waiting time periods. However, that can be compensated for the care we receive. That was not the case for us today. I'm currently extremely irritated and angered. I won't divulge details, but I will say this: Kathleen Sagola demonstrated the worst bedside manners I have ever witness. Steals Patients Money! Bills in advance then refuses to provide treatment! Do not see Dr. Difrancesco unless you want him to steal your money! Already filed a fraud complaint with NY State Medical Board. Both Dr. Difrancesco, MD and Chrysa Charno, PA charge you for the office visit before they see you. Then they refused to provide treatment unless you pay for "more" lab work. When you refuse to pay for more labs and ask for a refund they dismiss you and ignore you and proceed to write notes on the chart so they can say they actually did an exam. I left the exam room without being treated because Ms. Charno was clearly ignoring me and saying she would not provide treatment unless I paid for more lab work. When I asked for a refund both Dr. Difrancesco and Ms. Charno refused to provide a refund. They are charging in advance for services that were never rendered. FRAUD. URGENT CARE SCAM. Stay away from this place. It is a total fraud. I went there in May this year for an indigestion problem. But the doctor insisted I had a heart problem and wanted to send me to the Strong hospital's emergency room in an ambulance, with nurses standing by, ready to put me on a stretch with IV drip and the whole 9 yards. I knew what he was doing, He wanted to make this visit as expensive as possible so he coulld double or triple his bill. The good thing was I knew I didn't have any heart problem or I would have fallen for his scare tactic. He said if I didn't go right now I may die in the next few minutes. His greed is almost equal to his shameless. I walked out of that place in disgust, without getting any help. Yet he still charged my insurance for more than $600, all for doing nothing. The receptionist was extremely rude. She answered a personal phone call while I was attempting to check in. She was very unpleasant. Then, the doctor asked if I googled my symptoms. First off, I'm an RN. Secondly, even if I wasn't-that's extremely rude and if I did google my symptoms/diagnosis-you're not supposed to judge. This is supposed to be a healing environment.
