I finally decided to try out laser hair removal, and I simply couldn't pass up their Black Friday deals. Everyone here is so sweet, knowledgeable and professional. I initially booked with Nikelle, and unfortunately she ended up being out sick. However, she took time out of her day to give me a call which I appreciate. I ended up seeing Jasmine for the initial visit. Jasmine was very personable and efficient. I'm excited for my end results, and given their platform and expertise, I think I'll be very happy with it. I'll report back once I finish my treatments. So far, they've been very thorough in walking me through everything every step of the way which I appreciate. I love that they take Cherry and CareCredit for financing, that they also have online booking, and almost every month they have some sort of special going on for both new and existing patients. Lastly, parking can be a bit tricky, as it's first come first serve right outside. Though I did find the parking deck around the corner on Adelaide, where you get 4 hours of free parking. read more

I normally don't leave negative reviews, but I feel like I need to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. I spent nearly $4,000 at this medspa on several facials and laser hair removal sessions, and unfortunately I have little to no results to show for it. The treatments were incredibly expensive, and I expected to see at least some improvement, but that simply wasn't the case. One of the biggest reasons I purchased a package was because I was told it would be a customized treatment plan tailored to my skin concerns. However, when I later asked Nikelle for the treatment plan I had paid for, I was told there wasn't actually a treatment plan. Instead, she explained that she just looks at my skin when I come in and decides what I need at that appointment. That was not what I thought I was signing up for, and it left me feeling confused and disappointed. The entire experience felt very unorganized and lacking in communication. For the amount of money I invested, I expected more transparency, more guidance, and most importantly, results. When I expressed my concerns, I didn't feel like they were taken seriously or addressed in a meaningful way. I did not come back to Accelerated Aesthetics after being so upset and reaching out the owner about my concerns. I left feeling extremely disappointed, overcharged, and frustrated. I am filing a complaint regarding undisclosed pricing during my visit. I came in based on an Instagram promotion advertising an AquaJet facial for $75. The owner recommended I upgrade to the full facial, describing it as more relaxing, but never mentioned a price difference. After payment, I discovered the charge was $350 -- over four times the advertised rate. At no point was I informed of this cost before the service was rendered. I recently had an appointment for an aqua jet facial. It was truly amazing experience - The check in process is absolutely seamless and the receptionist were absolutely fantastic. Gabby was my Esthetician and she is super knowledgeable. She went over all my skin care concerns and made recommendations and customize serum for my facial. This was truly an amazing experience and highly recommend. They have an amazing product line and I purchased a couple items after my facial. Nikelle said she would give a 20% discount for good review. I am so unhappy with my results of 4 out of 5 treatments. My skin is now very dry, the pigmentation is worse, and now I have ice pick scars. These chemimcal peels also made the skin under my eye very thin, making me look tired and gaunt. I told nikelle about my skin concern and she gaslit me into thinking i was just seeing things. I won't be returning for my 5th treatment. I did message mya the general manager and she didn't even give a single apology even for how my skin turned out. I asked for more before pictures but they refused to email it to me. READ THIS REVIEW. Truly the worst customer service experience I have ever had. At the initial consult, my mom and I purchased "tailored treatment plans" from Nikelle (owner). They are more expensive with Nikelle vs. another provider. She stated this was due to "her extensive experience." At the next appointment, we were reassigned with a less experienced provider without notice due to an "emergency meeting." I encourage you to read other low star reviews, it appears this happens. They up-charged us for Nikelle, then change the provider without telling us until that day. At another visit, we received a text the day before with a cancellation. The first week of January, my mom confirmed my appointment via phone the day before with Nikelle. After driving over an hour, staff said my appointment was never made, despite confirmation. I've only seen Nikelle twice. In addition, I've had one appointment cancelled without notice/"never made." I've had one cancelled the day before. I've had one where the provider was changed. The day that my confirmed appointment was "never made," the manager assured me that Nikelle would call and address this incident. This never happened. She did not return multiple phone calls/voicemails or respond to multiple e-mails from myself and my mom. After almost 2 weeks, the manager e-mailed back saying that I did not qualify for any refund and the best we could do was rebook. There were phone conversations in between receiving the e-mail reply from the manager, but not one call was initiated by Accelerated until after that e-mail weeks later. My mom and I had to be the ones to reach out. Multiple employees gave us timelines of when Nikelle would call to address this, none of which came to fruition. My mom's experience was worse. She has a tailored treatment plan for 5 combined services (photo attached) w/ Nikelle's signature. At her 4th visit, she was told it was her last. She asked to speak to Nikelle, who was in the building. She was told Nikelle was with patients all day. The manager said "Sometimes things change. I wasn't present for your conversations with your provider." According to this deeply flawed logic, you can pay for a treatment plan and then they can revoke it. My mom said she would kindly wait for when Nikelle had a minute. Once it was obvious that there were no patients, the manager said Nikelle had a meeting. The manager told her that there was nothing she could do, as Nikelle authorizes everything. Taking 2 minutes to speak to a patient who has paid Nikelle thousands isn't on her priority list. She refuses to communicate, via phone, e-mail, or in person. The manager told my mom that she "didn't have any more time for this" and that "she asked Nikelle to come out but she can't make her." The manager also told her that one of her treatments was in October. They cancelled that appointment the day before. She wasn't in the building that day. They tried to cheat her out of a treatment and take advantage of my mom, causing a ton of distress. I was present via phone for this entire incident. I've worked in healthcare for years. I've never seen a provider refuse to talk to a patient, especially when it's about the provider's own inadequacy. The only appropriate response would've been to be apologize and face the mistake with the appropriate refund (not the one on their joke refund policy, but that's another story) of the services not rendered after such inconvenience. According to the website, Nikelle is a "fearless leader who has put her heart and soul into this company." Well, that claim doesn't involve having a simple conversation with a patient. Long story short, once they have your money, they do not care what happens. I feel sorry for the girls that work there, and I feel that their medical director should be embarrassed to endorse it. Nikelle puts the other employees in uncomfortable conversations due to her own unprofessionalism, and she does not give them the resources or authority to help. Go ANYWHERE else. It will be easy to find an aesthetics place that has integrity. read more

(Skip to the bottom for review of the location) I got the 24k gold micro Botox facial about a week and a half ago. So I waited 7-10 days before reviewing. For reference I am 38 (closer to 39), I have gotten Botox 4 times in the last 2 years, and only average 2-3 regular facials a year. I use good skincare and in general my skin is pretty good for my age (as a fair Irish girl I have a lot of redness in my skin tone and more from sun damage), but there are a few things I was hoping to address with this high end very pricey facial- large pores between my eyebrows and apples of my cheeks, loss of elasticity under my eyes, etc. I figured after a week-10 days and $600 I would notice some improvement. None. My forehead pores actually seem worse (only because I've been looking at them, not noticeably worse). I've seen no improvement in texture, elasticity, plumpness, etc. For it being such a high end facial I expected something. If I were 22 and skin like glass then no I'd understand, what's there to improve. But, someone my age, after $600, there should be improvement of some sort. Please note I paid a bit less as it was on sale in January. I definitely do not recommend this procedure, I see more of a glow, better complexion with a regular facial for 1/4 of the price. The girl who did the procedure. I apologize, I don't recall her name. She was super sweet and nice, but not the best for the price of the treatment. It's 30 minutes and she asked me the same question 3 times. She asked if I had questions and I said just to explain what you're doing or why etc as you do it. All she said was these needles are 24k gold and there is all this good stuff in it and I'll just put it in your face. Yea. Got that. Thanks. She asked what areas I wanted her to focus on instead of talking about what she was seeing, as she is the expert. Also the procedure takes zero skill whatsoever. You literally fill the stuff with the preportioned liquor and poke someone's face over and over as if it's a small coin size microneedler. I could have done it just as easily. I mention this as there is an option to tip. I'm a pretty regular 20% tipper but when all you do is spread numbing cream on someone's face and poke them over and over which they can do themselves and the treatment is over $600... no way am I tipping $120+ for 30 minutes that requires no skill. So treatment 1/5 stars. The location itself is much better than the procedure. It's conveniently located on York just south of the train station street parking and lot:garage nearby. It's small with very little waiting area but it's very clean, with nice decor. The receptionist was very sweet and attentive. The appointment making situation is made very easy with online booking. They have monthly deals that are actually very good. Follow them on IG to see all the monthly deals. I'd have zero apprehensions about getting another service here with another provider. And I will as I bought a hair removal package before this experience. Prices are typical for the area. So to sum it up, nice cute place, but don't throw down $600 for absolutely nothing. read more

I booked my appointment for laser hair removal waited in the room for 25 minutes naked before somebody actually came in at one point I thought they actually forgot about me. I've booked an appointment prior for a Hydro facial after coming into the office. Nikelle tried to convince me to purchase a package that was more money and she said it would be more beneficial to me. I told her I would think about it after thinking about it I decided I did not want to do it the whole time I was there she gave me nothing but attitude, and was very cold towards me, I would find someplace that actually cares and makes you feel like you're at home and it's actually benefiting your skin. Unlike these losers who lie to you and give you no results and make you think you're there having a good spa day for an hour, when they really only see you for 15 to 20 minutes and let you sit the rest of the time in the room like we don't have lives and things to do besides coming to Elmhurst. FYI on a facial that should be taking over an hour which I discovered after talking to actually highly educated people on the field not frauds. I highly do not recommend this place. read more

I wish I could give this zero stars, as this was the worst experience I've ever had with a business. After my daughter and I paid Nikelle thousands of dollars, Accelerated Aesthetics is refusing to honor the tailored treatment plan I purchased. After 4 services, I was told that my package was complete. Attached is my treatment plan as signed by Nikelle, which clearly shows 5 combined treatments. This was discussed at the initial consult as well. When I questioned this, Nikelle refused to speak to me, and I was told that she was "booked back to back." I offered to wait until she had a moment or the end of the day. Once it was evident that no other patients were in the building, I was told she was "meeting with another provider." The manager was unable to help, as she stated that Nikelle "authorizes everything." I was told that the manager had "no more time for this conversation" and that "she let Nikelle know I'm here, but she can't make her come out." So essentially, Nikelle has just ignored this. Prior to this, my daughter and I have dealt with a mess of Accelerated Aesthetics cancelling the day before and our provider being changed to a less experienced provider without notice. I also confirmed an appointment for my daughter with Nikelle herself the day before the appointment. Upon arrival, we were told it was never scheduled. Although staff assured us multiple times that Nikelle would reach out to address this incident, this never happened. Nikelle has essentially ignored us. I am baffled by the lack of professionalism and just the way that my daughter and I have been treated. This has been an unbelievably disappointing experience. If I could give this place negative stars I would. I have had laser hair treatment as well as botox at my original dermatologist and always had a wonderful experience. The problem was that I had moved in June and needed to try somewhere local. I do not know if it is because I was seeing a doctor and it seems this woman was not very knowledgeable as if she had gotten her background off of a cereal box and I had a horrible reaction which had never happened before. Nikelle kept trying to get me to buy a package that I never wanted nor needed and when I nicely refused she was incredibly rude, uneducated, illiterate, inexperienced, and uncultivated. At this place even though after spending $1000 dollars you will not even get close what you want to achieve with your skin. I don't even have that bad skin. I don't have any acne scar or active acnes. I only wanted more moisture and even tone with my skin. First I have done VI peel as they suggested which cost me over $300. I had 10 days post peel skin which was afwul it brought all of my acnes even worse. Had proper skin maybe for week and that was it. Also i had Aquajet done just yesterday for $330 including ($75 led light on your face only for 5 min), as of today I still have very dry and rough skin, don't see any change after putting my makeup. I was at least hoping for visible l hydration but nope nothing changed. I have also purchased $300 worth products for my skin as they almost forced. They sell this cannabis infused whatever serum for $200 which has no effect on my skin at all. I have been constantly using every single day on my skin information still no help. The funniest thing is when you say that you don't see any result after spending that amount of money almost for nothing they will say its because you have to get it done every 4-6 week at least multiple times then you will get to see difference on your skin. I mean I get that you need more than one visit to healthy better looking skin but come on the amount of money that spent only for 2 service has no visible result is unbelievable. Maybe its not right place for people who cannot afford thousands of dollars. They will awkwardly force you to buy plans or additional services or products.
