I will never go back here again. While I was actually pretty pleased with how smooth my forehead looked after the Jeuveau, I'm still completely traumatized by the look of my eyes now. I specifically mentioned before the injections that I was super concerned about eyelid droop and would honestly rather have a few wrinkles than deal with that. Well, sure enough, after just a few days, my eyelids started feeling incredibly heavy, and there was just no way of lifting them up (since the muscles are paralyzed). One eye ended up being worse than the other, which just made me look so lopsided and weird. Worse than that, I just felt like I looked like an idiot. I should also mention that I had 2 bruises near my eyes where I got the injections. This has never happened to me before with Dysport, etc. So, at my 2-week follow-up appointment, I expressed how unhappy I was. She told me it's a 'give and take,' like you have to give up one thing for another. She injected me with some more, but honestly, nothing changed. I still have these droopy, hooded eyes, and it's been a month. And I paid $450 for this. I'm definitely going back to the good people at Metamorphosis in DG. Do yourselves a favor and do not go here. read more

The worst experience and results! - NEGATIVE ZERO RATING I specifically told the nurse what my issue was and what I wanted to accomplish. She did not listen and proceeded to give me a 'lip flip' and kept insisting that would be the same as filling in the vertical line above my lip. Now, after two days of the botox lip flip, I can barely drink or eat. I made it very clear to the nurse that I am sensitive and in my case, less is more. Again, she did not listen and proceeded to inject me the same as any other person going for a lip flip, not what I wanted! I will NEVER go to Skin Med Spa again and would never recommend skin med spa in Downers Grove to anyone. You simply didn't listen to me at all and now I am physically unable to eat or drink without struggling. read more

So i decided to gift botox and lip filler to my girl. I researched high ly reviewed spas and Skin med spa definitely has the stars. It truly is a 5 star place .. we got there on time and was given some papers to fill out. I thought , like most offices there would be a long wait but not at all! Apparently they have a no wait policy. How refreshing. So we had a lengthy consult with 2 nurse practitioners Mike and Barb. Kinda like a cable show where they both educated us and bantered different ideas about. Was very informative and my g.f Kelly decided on lip filler and a new form of botox on her upper face. The results are amazing. She got very natural looking lips and now her fine lines are gone . We will go back for hair removal and tattoo removal for myself . I was really interested in the Oygeneo super facial that was featured on The Bachelor. I thought I would treat myself before my birthday party and go to the spa to get it done. And this spa was the only one in the area that did it and they did not disappoint! Barb was so professional and kind it was like getting a facial with a good friend! Visited this location for the first time and was extremely pleased with the service. I was nervous because I never received fillers before. Since my smile lines were making me feel so insecure, I became interested in fillers. Barbara and Michael have the best personalities. They have a way of making one feel at ease. I've been going to Barb for years, she's the best! She has been doint my fillers, Botox and recently jeuveau. My favorite is the lip flip with and/or without filler. Recently had a small amount of filler injected into my cheeks and am in love with the results! My main concern has always been looking like I've had too much done so I like that she listens to what you want.
