Then she told me it was a Consultation Fee which contradicted what I was told when making the appointment (Office Visit). This was never disclosed nor stated when I inquired about the costs when making the appointment nor during the exam. It is unusual and improper for a doctor's office to charge a separate $100 prescription fee on top of an office visit charge, especially if it was not disclosed upfront. A prescription is generally considered part of the treatment included in the cost of the office visit. I have asked for this charge to be reversed and to have Dr. Kovak return my call.

It would've been great if she could've got the bath started so I didn't have to wait 15 minutes for it to fill up. You have 25 minutes to relax in the room and take a bath or a shower or use the sauna. This would be an excellent experience or well worth it if they allowed more time. The bath took 10 minutes to fill up/figure out and I only had 15 minutes left. 15 minutes is not enough for a bath and to get ready. I would've really enjoyed the amenities if I was allowed more time. I would say 45 minutes would be ideal. I think they should price higher if needed and give people this time. Without time to enjoy the amenities the spa is really just average. I like the brand of soap that they had available and that it is in a private room. Overall, everything just felt very rushed and not relaxing like a spa should be.

Apparently the person we saw at the bar on the way in to our 10:00AM left because when I came downstairs the bar was Closed. So now I must wait 45 minutes for my husband, hungry and thirsty. Would not recommend this Spa to anyone. Definitely didn't start our Wedding Anniversary activities well. Prayerfully it will get better.

I was referred here by a happy customer from their Skokie location. i was impressed at the value of their VIP memberships and signed up for one of those. Upon arriving at their space, I was promptly greeted by a friendly face and told to help myself to a coffee or water while I waited for my lady (Sandi) . I was around 10 minutes early and appreciated the cute and comfortable waiting space. Sandra was ready for me right on time for my first IPL appointment. i immediately felt comfortable with her. She is very nice, down to earth and knowledgeable in her craft. She had some great advice for me on products that could help with my skin type as well as little tips on things I can do day to day for my skincare. I felt very at ease in her capable hands and my skin looked and felt so glowy and smooth afterwards. I recently visited pure med spa for the first time, and I was quite disappointed with the experience. Upon arrival, I wasn't greeted, which felt quite unwelcoming. Surprisingly, I wasn't asked to fill out any paperwork, which is unusual for a first-time visit. When I met with the provider, she quickly injected my forehead with 100 units of Dysport. From my past experiences, this amount is typically enough to cover more than one area. However, she claimed that 100 units would only be enough for my forehead and nowhere else. I had the pleasure of working with Julia today for my Diamond Glow facial. She was informative, personable, and so wonderful explaining the entire process and benefits. I was provided a towel wrap and a warmed bed for my facial. This facial left my skin feeling so light, clear, and glass like. I felt like months of gunk was removed from my face! Anna used a diagram of a face and explained to me her work, how she would inject and prevent that from happening again and what potentially went wrong when the surgeon injected me. Taking the time to make sure I understood is what built a trust that has me following Anna anywhere she goes. From Botox to Juvederm, Anna takes her time and makes sure it is perfect. I tell her what's bothering me about my face, and I trust her completely to do exactly as needed, nothing more or less. My forehead lines disappear but I can still make expressions when Anna does my Botox or Dysport (I like either). She reminds me to stay natural when I ask for drastically bigger lips. When she is almost done with the syringe I put in my lips, she has me check in a mirror to see if I think the results look even and if want Juvederm added to any area in particular. I have never tried to get a deal on Groupon or been lured by a title of doctor since I met her. I trust her completely and exclusively with my face. When Anna started at this spa, I made the 45 minute drive to see her and get the works. They had a great deal on Botox that day. I also had a syringe and a half of Juvederm to fill lines and boost my lips. The receptionist wanted to make sure I got points for all of my injections and helped me sign up for Aspire rewards. I was so worried about how busy she was and didn't want to be a bother. She assured me that the points for all the money I was spending was important and patiently assisted me in setting up an account before she checked me out and charged me. I've always tried to be patient with the fact that she typically runs behind schedule, but my experience two weeks ago was beyond a reasonable delay. I arrived at 12:30 PM for a 12:40 PM appointment. After being placed in a room and told it would be "just a moment," I sat alone until 1:00 PM. When I finally stepped into the hall to check on the status, as I had other commitments to get to, I was told at 1:05 PM that it would be at least another 15-20 minutes. Expecting a client to wait 40+ minutes past their scheduled time without any proactive communication is disrespectful of their time. What is most disappointing is the double standard in their policies. SkinPerfected enforces a $100 cancellation fee if a client reschedules within 48 hours, yet there was no offer of a credit or even a simple apology for wasting nearly an hour of my day. My time is just as valuable as Shannon's. I waited two weeks before posting this, giving the office every benefit of the doubt that they would reach out via text or email to make it right. Instead, the only communication I received was an automated "robo-text" prompting me to schedule my next session. The silver lining is that this forced me to find a new provider who is not only more affordable but also respects my schedule and doesn't push products with a high-pressure sales pitch. After years of loyalty and multiple referrals, I expected much better.
