As soon as I showed up, I was immediately greeted by a worker rolling their eyes at me walking inside then once I walked inside the reception was rude passive aggressive and was trying to get a call my car to just get it painted they refuse to give me a quote just for the paint job and tried up selling me on a bunch of stuff I did not need as if they think I'm a dumb woman I work as an automotive tech. I just needed my car painted I'm not fucking stupid but clearly they are trying to take advantage of me being a female but after trying to subtract all of their up selling my paint job for just two panels would've been almost $1000. I went somewhere else and I got a paint job for 500 that was absolutely mint and perfect go to Maaco They also do collision repair they have Different level levels of quality price points they don't care about up selling. I was about to give them 5 stars for repair work they did to my work vehicle that started in November 2024, and I picked up completed January 7th, 2025. Paid my $500.00 deductible and office lady gave me the final invoice paid in full and told me everything was complete and satisfied and gave me the keys. Geico paid them 3 different amounts from what I can see on this invoice. Office ladies and the estimator fellow I met earlier were extremely professional. Was happy with everything until now... Now a week later I received a phone call and subsequent voicemails from a "Robert" from private googlemail number threatening & intimidating me with Grand Larceny, Fraud, Lawsuit from his lawyer and demanding $3,000.00 within 48 hours or he was going to put a mechanic lien on my property! As a small businessman myself for 40 years, who in the hell goes into a conversation like this with a 1st time customer? I am awaiting my own demands met right now to see how this all, and my ratings of this collision repair company, will end. I am beyond livid with all of this, this man's "attitude" and assault of my character and person, and I even do forensic electrical inspection claim work in the insurance industry and credentialed in many ways. read more

REVIEW of Accellerated Collision Repair, Waynesville. My truck was hit-and-runned into in Waynesville. It needed replacement of a rear quarter panel, rear bumper, and rear taillight assembly. THAT'S IT. ACR told me that it would have to keep my truck for 2-3 weeks. That was hard to think about, but its a small town so okay. But ACR had my only vehicle in its shop for FIVE WEEKS. Rob at ACR started out blaming Progressive Ins, alleging that the adjuster was not communicating or making decisions quickly. After I spoke with the Progressive adjuster, however, it because obvious that ACR was not being completely honest, ACR was not working my claim as diligently as it was supposed to, to meet the 3 week deadline. I confronted Rob about this and his excuse was that ACR is committed to safety (BS excuse) AND that he "is short staffed". Ah-huh! Herein lies the problem: ACR took my vehicle, made smiley promises, but didn't tell me it doesn't actually have the staff to do the work within 2-3 weeks. If Rob were honest I would have gone elsewhere, and he knew that. BOTTOM LINE: I dont recommend ACR. It strung me along for FIVE WEEKS while I was stuck at home on a mountain top, no way to dispose of garbage for wildlife protection, no way to grocery shop, no way to go see my family, no way to do anything farther than a mile away, for FIVE WEEKS. I ended up spending $100's on delivery fees and ride share. Finally ACR said my truck was ready, I asked them what I owed and paid without argument, and left. Now, a couple weeks later, im getting demands for more money. ACR undercharged me--messed up again--and now I have to pay it around $120 more. Fine, but it just goes to show how poorly run this shop is. Never again. read more

It is a shame we were unable to do business. As you can see in the picture the damage to the bumper was minimal. This place came recommended by a few friends so I got off of work early on Thursday the 15th and drove the car from Asheville, where I live, to Waynesville. The gentleman there told me it would take a week to fix the car and that he would be emailing me the estimate shortly. I waited the whole day but got nothing. The next day around 12pm I called to see if I could get the estimate. They said they would send it shortly. Nothing for the rest of the day. Finally Monday someone called me and told me it would be $1200. A week passed and no phone call or anything. I gave them another week. When I didn't hear anything from them I called to ask how the car was coming. The woman that answered told me they hadn't even started working on it yet, after two weeks, and wouldn't start it until Tuesday the 3rd of September and that it wouldn't be done until that Friday the 6th. Now for context we are a family of four with two little kids under 3 and this is the family car. We have managed so far but a whole week more was not what we were expecting. I told them I would confirm with my wife and I'd call back. Me and my wife agreed to it. I called them and told the receptionist that I would like to speak to Adam so we can confirm the car would be done by that Friday. She told me he'd call me back. He never did. A few hours went by and I called again but he was still too busy. Around 4pm I gave up and told the receptionist I had no choice but to get the car. This morning I went to get the car and Adam still wouldn't come out and even explain to me what happened. The receptionist was the only one that spoke to me and gave me my keys. I was treated as if I didn't matter at all. I will say that the receptionists were nice the entire time and I appreciate their professionalism. I'm sure this company does good work for insurance claims, where they can make big money, but it is obvious they don't care about regular people. It is a shame that people like Adam could damage an otherwise nice seeming company. I will never bring my car here again and I will never recommend this place. If Adam would like to finally give me a call and apologize I would consider giving them another chance but that would require a level of humility this place is clearly lacking. Christin and Johnita are always a pleasure to do business with, and to have a conversation with! They make me feel more like family than just a customer. Jason is an excellent and knowledgeable mechanic, he does a thorough job and will courteously explain what is going on with your car if you have any questions. Adam and Rob do an efficient job managing the body shop side of things, which can be very stressful, but they stay positive. Tim is one of the best painters out there, I've had him do paint work on my Chevy Sonic several times and I'm always happy with the color match. I worked as a detailer for several years and then as a painters helper/ apprentice for several more at a body shop, so I know what to look for, and I can be pretty picky. Their prices are fair and the service is top notch. The shop is clean, well maintained, and modernized. The whole team is friendly and professional, and most importantly, they stand behind their work and warranty! My wife and I were so relieved when we found this shop, after having nightmarish experiences elsewhere in town. They returned calls promptly and dealt with the insurance company on my behalf. It was difficult to re-install my bike rack after the bumper repair, so they had me bring the car back. They installed my bike rack with no questions asked. They go above and beyond to make your experience a positive one. I recently purchased a used camper shell and wanted to color match it to my pickup. We contacted Tim at Accelerated Collision Repair and received a fair quote for the work. I needed to wait a couple months before I could take the truck in, but Tim still honored the original quote. When picking up my truck, they instruced me on how to take care of the fresh paint until it fully cured. At home, while reinstalling the roof rack on the shell, I droped an allen wrench, watched it ricochet off the lip under the side window, and leave two chips in the paint. I reached out to Tim to see if there's anything he could do. Without hesitation he suggested I bring it back in. Tim was generous to fix my accident without cost, in addition to an area under the rear glass that I was not 100% satisfied with. Through out this process, I interacted with three separate people. The work performed was good, but the courtesy and professionalism from everyone I spoke with was top notch. For all these reasons, I would gladly choose Accelerated Collision Repair for future needs. read more
