I had been putting off getting my real estate license for a couple of years, because I dreaded sitting in 40 hours of class over two weekends. This was my leisure and family time, and I didn't want to sacrifice it being bored to death. I finally bit the bullet and signed up for Accelerated Real Estate School for their February class. Michael was great at communicating from the moment I signed up, letting me know what I'd need to bring, sending a reminder a few days before, etc. The day finally came for me to start and guess what? It wasn't bad! The day actually flew by, and so did the next day, and the second weekend. We had a chance to interact with the others in class, so it was really nice to meet new people in the same boat. Michael told stories about his experiences that had to do with what he was teaching us at the moment, so they really stuck out in my head. I studied hard after the classes were done and took my exam this past Saturday, and it was actually easy! While I did pass the practice test without using the book, I'd like a better buffer closer to 100. So, I'm planning on taking a second round of this class next week, before the exam. The real life stories and experiences made the material more comprehensive and more memorable, however there is so much material that is covered in such a short amount of time, hence, Accelerated Real Estate School. It's very convenient that students can take the course multiple times without having to pay additional costs, I really appreciate that. Thanks for keeping the classes on time, covering all the material multiple times, for always allowing plenty of room for questions, and for keeping the conversations relevant and professional. If you are preparing for the real estate exam, look no further. Mike the instructor is great. He shares his real-life real estate experiences as teaching tools that I found extremely helpful. He is always patient and answered all of the questions that the class had. The class is conducted remotely over Zoom and is done in four 10 hour days which go by quickly. The textbook and workbook are emailed to you. All of this done at a cost much, much lower compared to the other real estate schools I was considering. This is the place to go. I was hesitant to take this course because I was worried that 20 hours over the weekend would be too much class at a time. I found myself really surprised at how fast the class went by, not to mention how nice it felt that I was actually learning the material. Mike does a great job going over the material and will always stop to answer your questions, no matter how silly you might think they are. I got the impression that he really wants you to understand what he's teaching you. Overall it was an excellent class with plenty of opportunities to review material, and having Mike as a resource was very helpful when it came to understanding the little nuances. 1st: Mike is awesome! The Accelerated RE school program is (as in its description) accelerated however, thorough and insightful. Mike takes the time to explain concepts often using real-life examples, he makes sure to carry the class along and does a great job keeping folks engaged throughout each class. He's very responsive via email & text, and always willing to help in areas you may be behind in. I'll tell you that if you follow Mike's study plan and USE THE MATERIALS he provides.. its a guarantee pass!! I attended Mr.Sheehan online class for 2 weekends in June 2021. It was a fast paced class, but It didn't feel rushed at all. During the lecture Mr. Sheehan would enlighten us with real estate cases and examples so we could remember the topics and memorized the lessons. The class format is excellent with tons of exercises and practice tests. When I took the test I was super comfortable because it was very similar to the format we had in class and homework. I passed the test on my first try! I'm extremely satisfied with Accelerated Real Estate School, and Mr. Sheehan as the instructor. Thanks to The Accelerated Real Estate School in Westwood and instructor Mike Sheehan, I successfully passed both the national and state portions of the MA real estate licensing exam and I am now a licensed real estate agent! Completing the 40 mandatory hours of class time necessary to take the exam seemed like it would be a monumental task for someone with my limited attention span. He knows his real estate and, most importantly, knows how to test prep you: pounds essential information and how-to approaches into the accelerated class, plays with crosswords and many sample tests.. Highly recommend! Passed the test on the first try. Michael is a person of high moral character and fun so you learn the right way, the fun way. The stories, advice and teaching really sticks. During the exam, there were many questions that I felt were easy because I remembered the answers from class conversation. Michael has a great way about him and with all people so you not only get a great teacher, it is a great class as a whole. Classmates which I would be more than happy to work with! Mike went above and beyond for my class by providing rational explanations for the various vocabulary terms, and math problems that are likely to be on the exam. I just completed the real estate salespersons prep course in 2 weekends (40 hours). It was amazing !! I learned so much and the time just flew by. I took the exam and passed National and State both on the first try thanks to Mike's class! I took the Accelerated one week class and while it was a lot of material to retain, Mike did such a good job of keeping it informative, interactive and enjoyable.
