We walked in at 6pm, was told to fill out an application online. Completed the form at 6:05pm and got an email confirmation saying our appointment is at 7:31pm. There was no people and empty in the lobby. We left to have dinner, came back at 7:25pm waited for another 10 minutes for vital check. After that we were put in a waiting room for the doctor for another 50 minutes!! If your are urgent to see a doctor and actually want your medication, don't come to this urgent care. It's at least 3 hours wait before you get seen and they did not even bother to send our medication to the 24 hours pharmacy we choose. We waited in the line at the pharmacy for half an hour to find out the clinic didn't send over our medication and of course by the time the urgent care was closed. We had to wait until the next morning to get our medication. Very bad experience with this urgent care. I have been to 3 different ones in the area and this one is the worse by far. I called the clinic next morning, they blamed it on the pharmacy's system when the clinic actually sent the prescription to the wrong location. They don't just offer bad service but also very dishonest. I will not come back here again and will tell my friends and family to avoid this place. read more

Avoid at all cost! Primary care physician sent us to urgent care for stitches for a cut over the pinky knuckle. We ended up here - This is little more than a CVS quick med center with a much higher price tag. $300 to walk in the door. The check in was a procedural mess; patient confidentiality was non-existent as names and reason for treatment/ symptoms were called out among staff. With only a few patients on premises, one would assume prompt service. Instead we waited in a room for an hour while various staff came in and out trying to assemble supplies. Once they finally decided who would do what we got a few steri strips and a finger splint. Where were the stitches we were told he needed ? Are they even real doctors ? Maybe they don't know how ? Finally we were done but we were told to check out at front. Then made to wait another 10 minutes to hear we owe another $156 for treatment supplies (steri strips, cling wrap & finger splint). read more

I can't say enough good things about this urgent care, this place has been consistent every time. Absolutely love Dr. Park he is very caring and honest, knows his stuff! It's been over a month since my last visit to UC and he remembered me and my daughters and the reasons we were last there, as many patients that they see a day I was surprised that he remembered us, that definitely made me feel like he truly does care for his patients! Dr. Cruz is an amazing professional that knows how to treat a patient. I was sick for over three weeks and came in for help. I was seen by her and immediately she went to work. She was able to diagnose me right away, and get me meds that actually helped. I hardly ever leave reviews on yelp but felt that Dr Cruz deserved some recognition for her efficiency and extreme professionalism. I feel like your response is just an automated reply and that you have it set up that way for any 1star reviews so I'm gonna go ahead and share this personal information with you about myself I am a 50 yr old Caucasian woman I have severe mental heath issues I'm special needs and disabled I gave my first review with 1 star because after reading as many of the comments I could the positive ones instantly made me feel like your office and staff and even you yourself upon meeting me everyone would instantly profile me and I wouldn't get treated the corre and that would cause me extra problems along with extra pain idk what's going on with me but I suffer from chronic pain what's bothering me the most now is my left upper leg from my buttocks all the way past down my knee I can't even lay on my left side for more than a minute sometimes I feel like I'm literally going to die I got so scared and discouraged to go to your office after I finished reading the reviews but your office is the closest to I'm hoping after you read this that you could respond giving me some kind of assurance that you would treat my issues and me with kindness and the utmost care that you would treat a baby that can not speak for themselves I have to start somewhere so I'll be giving your office a call very soon to find out if you even take my insurance have a great day read more

The worst experience! I have never even written a yelp review positive or negative... but this woman should not be practicing medicine anywhere! NP Janet Cruz is the most unprofessional, rude, ignorant, & down right combative person I have experienced in a "medical-setting " I came here a year ago for the exact same thing and had a very good experience with the doctor and staff. I slammed my finger in the door and after a couple of days of icing it and dealing with the pain decided to see what could be done. The prior doctor used a little heated device to make a tiny hole in my nail so that the blood and pressure could be drained and relieved. Very simple but effective. When I came today, I told them that's exactly what I wanted to do and they said fine & made an appointment for me to come back in an hour to See the "Doctor". After checking in, I waited about 40 minutes to be seen by the doctor. She walked in, looked at my hand from 5 feet away asked me what happened and then said we can do a Xray. I explained I didn't think I needed a x-ray because in the past I had one and the doctor said even with a small fracture we just let it heal on its own and there's nothing to be done. I definitely knew I didn't break anything. So I told her I made the appointment to get it drained to relieve the pain and pressure and blood and she said I don't do that! I asked what do you mean you "don't do that"? She said I don't do that procedure and even if I did, I wouldn't do it ..you don't need it and started to walk out. Excuse me?! She never even got close enough to my finger to look at it. She didn't explain why she couldn't or wouldn't do the procedure. She abruptly walked out & left me in shock. Then another girl comes in 10 minutes later with paperwork for suggestions what I can do. Listed on there is the exact procedure that I wanted her to do! drain the subungual hematoma! I asked one of the other girls to write down the information where I could talk to somebody about what had happened. I was not going to pay or have my insurance billed when the "doctor" didn't even examine my finger or do what I originally came there for. If she wasn't able to perform a simple task I should've been told that originally before I waited...paid my co-pay and gave all my information and insurance. The information the girl came back with says Janet Cruz NP. I'm still not sure if this is why she couldn't do the procedure or just didn't want to. However, I was told I was seeing a doctor. Although there are many wonderful NP's out there, this is not one of them. IT IS ALSO AGAINST THE LAW to mislead somebody to believe they are seeing an actual doctor when they're seeing anything less than a MD. You can't legally be referred to as a doctor if you are a NP. Why doesn't the staff or anyone else working there know this or tell you there is no actual Doctor on site?! Maybe this is why at the front desk they ask you if you want to sign a paper to waive your right to Sue??!!! Please avoid. Maybe this is new ownership in the last year. Tonight my wife and I decided to head over urgent care since we are having a hard time getting rid of this cough we had for 3 weeks. It was controllable until we both stared to lose sleep. She been getting 4-6 hours of sleep and getting about 3-4 at times. This cough seems know when it is bed time since it acts up just when about to sleep. Everyone at the clinic seemed very helpful in the beginning but they dropped the ball on sending the meds to a 24/7 pharmacy . The asian dr that we saw was helpful but unprofessional since he had about an hour to send the prescription to the 24 hour pharmacy. On top of that we did go back into the clinic to talk to the girls there to see when they will send the order for the meds so we can start the meds to get closer to feeling better. My wife was told by one of them they will send it right away. Guess what that was full of hot air. Also when we were with the dr. My wife ask dr if it ok if he can get codeine to him me sleep since she concerned on the lack of sleep I been getting. He told my wife he does not do that type of medication's( he seemed off since we asked him) I understand that codeine is an addictive drug I know for a fact that he can check the database on narcotics to see the last time I was personally prescribed. My wife wanted it for my body to get some rest for this congestion that we both have. She did not ask anything for herself since she's better off. My wife understands the rules and regulations since she's a physician assistant herself but since the doctor told us, he does not prescribe that type of medication. We both felt that he did not want to do it at all and I don't know if that's the reason why our prescriptions did not get to the pharmacy as they told us so now we have to deal with the lack of sleep headache congestion, achy body sore throat coughing throughout the night to the point where I almost feel like I throw up. They need to ask themselves (the people that work there) if they were in my shoes and had a loved one that needed medication that night and didn't do it. How would they feel.? Yes anyone can see if you feel that bad you can go to the emergency room but we didn't but if I don't feel well enough tonight, I might just do that just because of the lack of professionalism on sending medications in a timely manner. I really don't know if the doctor would appreciate if any of his loved ones would've been treated the way he treated us on promising that he will send the prescription it just sucks running around driving when you're sick in the feeling of being denied of what you need to feel better is rejected. Now we have to call them in the morning and try to get the medication's during business hours since we both work, we wanted the medication to kick into our bodies as soon as possible. read more

If I had written my review based on the care and service I received my first time here, I would've given 5 stars. I visited this office for a second time earlier this week, however, as a kind of follow-up/change of symptoms from my first visit, and the second male PA I saw did not give me the same level of care or bedside manner that the first female PA did. Actually, during my second visit, I felt that I was just about completely written off by the male PA. He was a bit cold and callous with his care--not the kind of bedside manner that made me feel comfortable discussing my concerns. read more

I brought my son here May 8 @5pm For obvious reason he had mucus coming out of his eye he was coughing erratically, and I had told the front desk lady I think my son might have an infection I need him to get seen. She goes on to tell me we don't do head injuries. I told her I did not say head injury I said he might have an infection. She keeps on talking over me telling me oh we don't do anything with the head eyes mouth and I told her OK then what do you do? She proceeds on telling me not head injuries. I asked her where did you hear me say head injury if I'm telling I think it's a infection I need to get antibiotic drops prescribed to him. She clearly doesn't know what she's talking about. She's the front desk service. She turns me away telling me that I need to go to the ER for head injuries regardless of the fact, if it was a head injury, my son wasn't bleeding out. He wasn't having a heart attack. Any heart conditions for them to go ahead and tell me go to the ER, on top of that she did not go and ask the doctor to see if they can see me or not. She decided to tell me we don't do head injuries over and over while I'm over here worried about my son and his condition because he's never had this before and now I had to go wait eight hours at an emergency room for them to tell me that it could've been treated at the urgent care. It was just an infection. I waited all together from the moment I was there at urgent care, asking her for them to see my son. Nine hours nine hours just for them to prescribe my son antibiotic eyedrops. I ended up calling them while I was going to the ER because I went on their page and I saw that they do treat any flu like symptoms. Any infections and I asked them why they turned away my son telling me to go to the ER because it's a Head injury she was not the doctor she was the front desk service. She continue to speak over me telling me the same thing we don't do head injuries I said why the hell do you keep saying head injuries when I'm telling you it's an infection while I'm talking she continues to put me on hold somebody else answers and I tell her what's going on and she has the same audacity to put me on hold while I'm telling them that my son needs to be taken care of why they turned him away and then another person answers and tells me what's going on. I tell her what's going on but at the same time I tell her why are they putting me on hold while I'm still talking? I'm not playing a game here they think it's OK to gamble on somebody's health and you can clearly hear in the background the other nurses laughing because they're very unprofessional. How are you gonna turn away a four-year-old boy play around on the phone putting me on hold while I'm a mother worried about my son and then still have the audacity to be like oh well you can bring him back you guys turn me away you guys put me on hold three times while I'm worried about my son crying, just for them to tell me at the ER his eye blood vessel pop because of the coughing and the crying in the screaming. The mucus coming out of his eye was caused by a bacterial infection and they prescribe me antibiotic eyedrops. What at urgent care could have prescribe me as well, I'm not bashing on the doctor and nurses I just want you guys to know that the front desk did not care for anything she was not a doctor she was the check in girl so where in her right mind is it OK to turn away a four year old boy that needs to be seen ??? Update: Yeah don't go here this place cant handle any real servicing for customers im still trying to pay $10 i owe after i made calls to get it paid and gave my information to their automatic payment system through phone. I just feel this place is sketch, i hope they close down cause theres no place for a health care office like this in chino hills. They literally have no control of their facility, good luck getting actual care and services here. More like going to screw you over on bills then when its too late its in collections affecting our economic responsibilities. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS URGENT CARE!! I got there exactly at 4:08 and was not out until exactly 7:17 when they said there was only 2 people in front of me! They got the reason why I was there and said they where going to do bloodwork and took over an hour for them to actually get to work on taking my blood after I left my room 3 times to ask on an update and why they are taking long there response was "we are waiting on a code from lab corp". When they started drawing blood they poked me over 5 times and only got 3 out of 5 tubes of my blood. They could not get anymore so the lady went to ask a coworker for help because she was new and not even the other lady could do it even tried poking me in my hands above my knuckles so they said "let me just ask doctor if we can work with 3. Once they left took them 45 minutes until I got really frustrated and left my room and doctor asked where I was leaving to and I said I need to leave this is ridiculous it's been 3 hours , then he replied "well we already got your bloodwork so you will get results in the next 3-4 business days" reminding you that was January 31st and it's not February 8th n still no results!! Doctor was also very rude and unprofessional!! Yes I know I should have walked out wayyy before 7:17. Very happy I went to Crossroads urgent care in chino hills with doctor Ashly! I am an RN of 35 years, paramedic for 5 prior. I now own a Revenue Cycle Management Company so I know medical billing and coding regulations like the back of my hand. My 19 year old son was thrown from a horse and had scrapes with ground in dirt and low back/shoulder/arm pain. When we arrived here - sent by our insurance carrier - we were rudely told that they did not accept our medical group. I told them you don't have to worry about the medical group, we are not capitated, and I will have Blue Shield send a Letter of Agreement to pay for the treatment my son would receive. This is better than gold, as it is guaranteed payment to the provider for care given that day. The allowed me to struggle with calling insurance and having them first try to fax the LOA to the front desk - FAX did not work. I then had the LOA emailed to me and then to the front desk. They finally gave me the clipboard to fill out my son's information. I found a page that said I had to leave an "open credit card or $200 cash" or they would not treat us. The front desk woman was rude and just kept saying "that's our policy - you can leave if you don't like it. That's your choice". I pointed out that they are contracted with Blue Shield which makes it unethical and in violation of their contract with Blue Shield, where the provider accepts a contracted rate to treat Blue Shield patients after any copay. My son's copay is $45, not $200. I asked what the $200 would be used for - they said "if your insurance doesn't cover the charges". I explained that "balance billing" is not allowed if you accept insurance assignment. Fraudulant billing practices. I asked for their manager. She was the most unprofessional and overtly rude person I have EVER encountered, even cussing at me when I asked who owned the facility (she told me "you can look it up online" and mumbled a cuss word). She told me that it's not unethical to charge $200 over the insurance payment amount, that it's "their policy" and if I "don't like it, (I) can leave". Why would you not take the guaranteed approx $400 insurance payment and $45 copay rather than chase away a customer when you had ZERO patients waiting? I anticipate this facility will shut down within a year either by force of governing agencies or by lack of revenue. I called Blue Shield and they confirmed for me that no, they cannot charge more than my son's $45 copay, as this is a breech of contract. I tried to have the manager speak to Blue Shield and she refused, saying "I don't have to talk to anyone, it's our policy and I told you, if you don't like it, you can leave". I hope the "Business Owner" reads this - I will be sending associates in to capture this behavior when they are similarly treated (i.e. "professional witnesses") so that I can file a formal complaint with the California Department of Insurance to go along with the one I have already filed with Blue Shield. My son deserved to be treated and had your insurance payment in hand, yet you still refused. You've messed with one mad, well-connected Mama. read more

Here's the truth... yes the front desk was nice, and so were all the staff. And yes the place is very clean. But at check in I was told the visit was $205 after 5pm normally it is a $180 fee. I am self pay so I asked for the self-pay discount which all medical offices provide for cash patients. I was told there is no discount and I was okay with that I paid the fee. Then I was asked to sign a paper for self pay patients. The paper stated that self-pay patients get a discount etc... so I asked the receptionist (who at first told me there was no discount ) why the paper states there IS discounts and she said " no, that's just the wording, there is no discount" lol she wasn't very knowledgeable and that's okay. So I get called in to see the nurse who takes the vitals and she takes my son's temperature and says to me it is 102. I was shocked because he didn't feel hot or acted like he had a high temp so I asked her to take it again and she shows it to me 100.2 and says "see 102" and I told her that 102 and 100.2 is a huge difference and she says "no, it's the same 100 range", again she also was not knowledgeable. So, although they were all very nice, and place was very clean, not a place of knowledge in my opinion. read more

I walked in before noon in severe pain, and a suspected case of covid. I was referred by my insurance. The woman at the front desk said that the PA was finishing up and then she HAD to go on her MANDATORY 1 hour lunch break before she could see me. There were no patients waiting in the waiting area. I didn't know where else to go so I sat in the waiting room until the PA came back from her lunch at 2:00pm. I work as a nurse in a hospital and do not believe that her 1 hour lunch was mandatory but maybe it is with this company. That being said there should have been more than one person there to cover her break. She was nice though. But my major issue/complaint was with her nurse who took my vitals and information before being taken to an exam room. The woman didn't tell me who she was...I asked if she was the doctor...and got an abrupt "no.."...She did not look at me once, or tell me her name, and she interrupted me in the middle of my sentences while trying to answer standard questions. I could really tell she must hate her job...that or people in general. Hopefully I will never have to go back! I only gave two stars because the PA was okay and the place was clean read more

For starters, I am familiar with the urgent care setting as I also work in urgent care at a different facility. Also, I have never been one to make a bad review, even if i am unsatisfied i never bring myself to post one. However the "patient care" I received today had me so shocked! NP Janet Cruz was not compassionate whatsoever, and far from professional. She walked in, didn't even introduce herself (which is why I had to ask staff who was I even seen by) then I began to tell her my chief complaint where she then cut me off and told me my results were good there was no reason of my symptoms. She didn't let me get into detail. (To remind you I know how precious any provider's time is yet she was not addressing any of my concerns) I had to keep bringing it up so that way she can actually listen to what I am saying. I told her more symptoms and she was rudely passive aggressive stating she's not there with me all day to know how my daily habits are. She was extremely dismissive of my reasoning of being there , as well as my symptoms. She also asked if I needed days off work (in a rude way) as if I was seeking time off and lying about my visit. I explained no I don't need time off I came to be sure of my symptoms. I couldn't believe a nurse practitioner or any provider can walk into a patient room without addressing who they are or being kind. Even if not kind then to at least make yourself seem professional! Even at my job the doctors, NP's and PA's have never treated our patients this way. The only good thing about this place was the staff. They seemed professional and nice from the front desk to the woman taking my vitals. Definitely not nurse practitioner Janet Cruz though. Never coming back here again and would advise if you come here make sure NP Janet Cruz is not going to be the one to "treat" you. read more

This review is in reference to two different visits. Visit one: The Doctor informed me there's is nothing to worry about with me having COVID because I'm only 25. They completely ignored everything else making me high risk/immune compromised. Basically just told me to go home and sleep it off. After I told them that's not going to work with me they sent me home with a prescription for High blood pressure & an inhaler that cost me $40. When they sent in my prescription they listed my birthdate wrong so I had to go back and have them correct it. Visit two: I came back 8 days later to get a return to work note. They told me they would only right a note for 3 days after my visit. Which doesn't make sense because I was still sick 3 days later. I took the note they offered anyway. But by the time I got home I realized they put my birthdate wrong AND misspelled my name. How does that happen when my DL is sitting right in front of you. Overall they 3 stars because even thought the office was clean & there wasn't a long wait they need to be more attentive. The office wasn't busy so there was no need to rush either situation. I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you want to have to correct every little thing they do. How can I trust you with my health if you can't even get my name and birthday correct? I am never one to leave reviews but felt this needed it's own moment. Before taking my son in to be seen i called to confirm they accepted our insurance and the young lady in the front (I wish I got her name) but she was so helpful and patient with giving me all the info i needed. We arrived about 30 min later, checked in, and were seen all within the hour.everyone from the check-in desk, medical assistant, to the doctor that treated us were nothing short than amazing. Taking in a sick toddler is never fun and they all made us feel so welcomed, heard, and most importantly not rushed. We were seen by Dr Jonathan Park who again had so much helpful information for us to take home and made sure we did not leave with any unanswered questions. Went home with antibiotics and had no problem with picking them up at our pharmacy. Everyone here truly made this anxious situation not so bad for this first time mom. Definitely will be using their services again if needed. 10/10 !! read more

Best experience I ever had at an urgent care! All the other urgent cares I have gone to in the past I have dreaded because I will be waiting for hours in the waiting room and then another hour just to see the doctor. I was in and out in less than an hour. The front desk staff was very nice and welcoming and answer my questions when I was filling out some paperwork they were even nice when I was leaving saying have a nice day. The nurses and doctors were amazing. They did not rush me at all and took the time to answer all my questions. The facility was super clean! Hopefully i won't need to go to an urgent care for a very long time but if I do I will be going to accelerated urgent care. I even told my friends and family about this place and that they should go if they need urgent care. I love how you can make an appointment online and fill out most of the paperwork online as well so it makes the process faster when you arrive. read more

My experience was really odd. I wouldn't recommend coming here due to my doubts of the legitimacy of this place. We needed to get our daughter seen and this place said they could but it would be $205 since they didn't take our insurance. When I walked in, the staff was really nice, I filled out some paperwork, I did not get copies of what I signed, JUST the receipt for my payment of $205. When my daughter was seen everything seemed ok until we started talking about dosages for infant Tylenol and Motrin. They suggested I give the same dose of 3ml for both but that's only true with Childrens Tylenol and Motrin not Infants. Infants is more potent so the dosages are different. Then when the "Dr" or I don't know if she's a dr but her name is Crystal, when she checked my daughters ears, she went in kinda deep. My kid was crying in pain. I didn't say anything because she pulled out but still... don't you know not to do that? She diagnosed my daughter with Hand Foot & Mouth. They wrote the dosage instructions on a post it note and did not give us any discharge paperwork or info on how to care for HFM. None... nothing... Thanks for your $205, now go home. When I got home I called our family Dr and he said they suggested the wrong dosage and diagnosed her improperly. She has Herpangina not HFM. It's the same virus but expressed differently. This is a new urgent care clinic in Chino. The office staff was friendly and checked me in quickly. Dr. Park was thorough and attentive. He did not rush like other providers I've seen in the past and took the time to listen and attend to my concerns. He even called me the next day for an update. Don't waste your time coming here! I called in advance to see if they administer IV bags being I'm feeling weak/dehydrated and they said yes they do. I get there and check in process took a while, I again mentioned that I was here due to dehydration and was hoping to get a saline IV. I finally saw the doctor and the doctor says yes he would give me an IV bag, however he was not comfortable with any of the nurses there to administer the IV bag or draw blood. Why open an urgent care if there is no one the doctor feels comfortable with to draw blood or administer the IV. He then said the front desk knows that they're not able to administer IV's at this time and they should of told me. I go to the front and they say they do have a radiology tech who can administer the IV, however the Dr told me he was not comfortable with anyone there administering it. They shouldn't have opened until they had proper staffing who could draw blood and administer an IV. read more
