We are happy with the final product but it took 6+ months of dealing with faulty trim work and poor installation. Installers left a 5 foot section of pipe on our two story roof. Luckily we noticed it when an electrician came to do some work. That could have hurt someone or damaged our solar panels. First installer put broken decorative logs in the fireplace. He set them in there in a way to hide the broken ends. Noticed when I opened to rearrange. First installer scratched the trim piece. Second person attempted a quick fix with spray paint that didn't match. Ordered second trim kit that came scratched. Ordered third trim kit that came bent. 4th trim kit wasn't scratched and we installed ourselves. Customer service never called us back. We had to call to check to see if trim kit had arrived every time. The good news is the final product works well and we love how it looks. read more

We have two gas fireplaces that had not been turned on since we purchased the house and it was suggested we have them serviced. One just needed cleaning and the other needed a part to get running. Ron was our service repair guy who really knows what he is doing. Although it took a return trip to complete the one fireplace, we were not charged anything until the job was completed. Very respectful of our home, and keeping floors covered during work. Rob was very enjoyable to be around, and a great asset to the company. read more

I called for help with a blown mother board. They gave me the service managers number to call. I called him and he asked me to send info which I did. I waited 4 days with no call back. I had to go into the store to find out why he wasn't returning calls. Anyway, 4 text over 3 days then two more calls, he finally came out More than a week from the first call. He came out, replaced the board in about 30 minutes.then he wrote the bill $750.00 for a board that cost $450 directly from Sundance. Then charged $175.00 service call. Don't use ACCENT unless you don't mind non-returned calls, and getting overcharged by about $500.00. read more

I called accent around 3:30 PM the Monday after Christmas. I was in a real problem in that my hot tub would not come on and we were about to go into -0 weather. I believed I would lose my hot tub which my wife needs for medical reasons. The lady at Accent called her one available tech named Sammy. He called me we spoke about 530 and he said he was finishing a job in Sandpoint it was dark and cold but he said he would come to my place and could be there by 8 PM. I was amazed at his service and attitude. He heard in my voice the predicament I was in. He showed up and did a few things and said he would be back the next day. He showed up about 10:15 in the morning the next day and works for four hours or more heating the frozen pipes and fixtures in my hot tub melting the ice that's what he did so much of the time. He saved my hot tub! Sammy honestly was an answer to prayer. He was so talented and did such a great job, five stars is not enough for Sammy! I highly recommend him and Accent pool and spa! We stopped in looking for start up chemicals for a new to us spa knowing nothing about what we needed . They were very helpful gave us just the minimum needed to start the tub up and did not try to oversell. Not really knowing what we were doing they could have easily loaded us up with a ton of stuff and we would have bought it . We will continue to use them for all our spa needs read more

My husband and I purchased both a wood burning fireplace and a spa from Accent. The sales people were very pleasant and helpful. We purchased the fireplace with full installation. We made arrangements to have the fireplace installed during the framing of our home. When the installer came out he was rude and condescending making comments about the location of the fireplace ( he apparently doesn't like corner fireplaces ) and " why is there a gas line for a wood burning fireplace? " ( its a log lighter? ).When our home was complete and we were able to use the fireplace, it smoked into the house. They said it wasn't unusual for a new fireplace to " smoke a little" at first. When it continued to smoke after 2 months they had a " technician" call us on the phone. Spending thousands of dollars at their business was not worth a house call. After we verified that the flue was open and the outside air was functioning properly they stated that the fireplace was performing correctly. We would just have to open a window 3 or 4 inches when we had a fire. Are you kidding? Our house is apparently too air tight. Yes. We live in northern Idaho. I thought it was supposed to be airtight? They did have a vent that we could purchase and have installed with no guarantee that it would correct the smoking issue. No thanks! Update: After posting this review, we were contacted by Eric, the owner of Accent Stove and Spa. He was very angry about the review but agreed to look into a few possible solutions. After almost a year, the only option given to us was to purchase one of a few different ventilation systems at a cost of from one to many thousands of dollars, again with no guarantee that it would work. In the end, we were told that they will no longer sell the fireplace we purchased, but we will just have to leave a window open when we use ours. This fireplace was a splurge when building this house. We now have a beautiful stone fireplace that will always smoke. I would not do business here. They do not stand behind the products they sell. read more

I've been to Accent Stove & Spa on a few different occasions now and every time it's been such a pleasant experience. I needed a new cover for my hot tub and they looked up all of the information about my hot tub that I was unable to find and was able to find the correct cover. I have also needed supplies on separate occasions and they have been very helpful in getting the right stuff. Bought a hut tub a few days before Christmas from Cori and she was very quick on email response and answered all of our questions and then some. The owner Eric provided the best customer service I have ever had! We had a few questions on setting up the hot tub and he was always available and even spent a whole day researching to help! I will always go back to them for my hot tub needs. I would give a higher star rating if I could. This is a great company with great customer service.
