I purchased a sauna from Pool World central (Chelsea) in the middle of June and had delivery scheduled for the 1st week of July. An incomplete delivery was made and the prepurchased accessories not delivered or installed. I spoke with her and she promised she would look into it and have it sent out and installed. A week later I am still waiting for a return call or delivery of missing items. I had misgivings from purchasing from her from the beginning but the product (Tylo) was exactly what I had searched for and ended up making the purchase in full without financing. My parents have been using this company since their pool was built 42 years ago. My parents are now in their 80s. They use them to open and close the pool in the spring and fall. Last year and this year they have charged an exorbitant cost to open and close the pool. Not only that but the cover was left in a heap by their picnic table! They charged for 2.33 hours, 2 men with a final cost of 739.00!! Definitely looking elsewhere. read more

I had used this company's service for more than 15 years, but I was more than disappointed this year (2022). We have an indoor pool that is covered and requires little maintenance. We have Pool World come in every summer to vacuum, scrub, balance chemicals, and so forth so we can use it. Two weeks after that service this year, the silt was so heavy on the pool floor, both in the shallow and the deep end, that we were reluctant to swim and stir up the stuff. I called Pool World and asked for a complimentary service visit to make it right. No way, the manager Brenda told me. She would not budge. So I bought a house in aug 2016 which had a pool. It was a scary exciting moment. This pool has had many years of use so I've had a few fixes and Samantha and team have done everything possible to assist me. I've rebuilt the pump. The old pump finally gave up and Samantha found me a better pump for my pool which has no issues now. Much more cost effective to run. I'm so happy with it. A little while ago decided to catch pool worlds specials on a new caldera spa. This spa came with a smart top and step. The top had an issue and Samantha did everything in her power to fix it. That being said my pool and tub run seamlessly and look and smell great. Always available for free water testing. I now just bring in water to chat with the staff that have become friend due to the hard work in customers service for me. I want to thank them for making having a pool and tub very little effort and cost. I strongly suggest this company. They have top parts and staff. When it comes to water at your house you shouldn't cut corners. read more

Scheduled service 2 weeks ago. Called this morning to verify an approximate time since they dont make appts. Was told between 10 and 1. It was 145 when I called and spoke w mark. He was rude and didnt even care. Said i was third on the list. I've been waiting since 9am with no response. He ended hanging up on me. I was upset on the phone. Didnt yell but was on the verge of crying from frustration. He told me not to cry it's not the end of the world and HE hung up on me... If that isnt bad enough his manager didnt care either when I called back. I asked for a next day appt. Hoping to be before noon and he then suggested he would be there by 4. I asked if he was sure because if not we would have problems I've been waiting for two weeks. He couldnt guarentee it. Said he had an emergency commercial customer paying emergency rates so might not even make it. I then asked if the guy was even gonna make it today and he said well sometimes things have to get rescheduled. Please stay away from Pool World in Spokane Valley!!!!! At the end of the season last fall our automatic pool cover rope broke. We called them to repair it. They estimated the cost to be $1100.00. The repair was almost $1800! We thought the problem was fixed. This season we opened our pool and used it FIVE times opening and closing the automatic cover when the rope on both sides sheared off! We contacted Pool World and were told there was NO WARRANTY and again would have to pay full parts and labor. We talked to the repair manager and asked the owner/manager to contact us. Three weeks later we are still waiting. In the meantime we called a different pool repair company. We were told POOL WORLD Took the original plates operating the pool cover off and Jerry rigged new plates that were meant to shear off the ropes!!! To order the original parts and pay for labor it looks like we are going to be out another $1,000.00 plus to repair and use our pool cover at all!. We are reporting their unprofessional workmanship and lack of making it right to the Better Business Bureau. We had to give them one star to be able to post this review. Service after the sale is one of the most important things I believe a business can give to its customers. The folks at Pool World in Coeur D Alene, Idaho and Spokane, Washington have failed us miserably in this area. Please check with others first. Hot Spring Spas may be good, but... Please don't just take my word for it, check the other review here and on other sites for reviews on them. STAY AWAY FROM POOL WORLD!!! We purchased our $10,000 Envoy tub about 3 1/2 years ago. For the first 2 1/2 years it worked great. Since then it has been a nightmare. The nightmare hasn't been getting the warranty work approved through Hot Springs, the nightmare has been trying to get the tub repaired properly and especially repaired in a timely manner. This last repair fiasco is the final straw. Late last summer we noticed a crack had formed in the tub just to the left of the heater control panel. Fiberglass cracks are not uncommon, but very unwanted. After getting the repair authorized by Hot Springs, we had the tub transported to Pool World for the repair. (Pool Worlds mileage fee is just under $400 per trip if they send Techs out to our home, even to fix warranty repairs. Under warranty, mileage is only included in the first year). The Tech at Pool World said the crack repair could not be done at our home because it requires a constant temperature for the materials to cure properly, (indoor only). They did inform us that it could take up to two months for the tubs return. Not having any other choice, we sent the tub down to them. Well two months went by and still no news on the tub. We began calling. Now we were getting into the cold/snowy season here in NW Montana. Two months now, and was I ever surprised when I was told that they hadn't even looked at the tub yet. It's been just sitting. The excuses flew, and we were told they would get on it. Several weeks went by and then we were informed that the tub also needed both motors replaced. Yet more delays and repairs needed on a fairly new tub. Now we were well into winter. With snow falling, freezing temperatures, ground swells and frost heaves forming. In simpler terms even if the tub were returned it could no longer be set up because of the weather. We were now forced to wait until spring. AN ENTIRE WINTER WITHOUT OUR TUB. Well spring's here. A shoulder surgery a few months ago and the now very busy schedule of our transport guy slowed the expected set-up until this past week. Well, SURPRISE! The tub is inoperative. The cracks fixed, the new motors work, but with the venting hose on the left motor being crushed the way it is, if the tub were operational, I don't expect that one will last long. The hose looks like it's crushed so much that there is no way air can pass through it to cool the motor, and best of all the temp gauge on the panel reads 115-degrees and the "NEW" heater does not work at all. The heater and all the parts around it had to be removed and replaced when they installed the new motors and now the heat doesn't work. Oh, I forgot to mention, the heater was replaced "literally" just prior to the crack forming, again under warranty. We ended up paying the mileage fee when the heater was replaced. So, now we have a $10,000 hot, or I should say cold tub and we're expected to either transport the tub over 100-miles to them, again, at our cost or pay them almost $400 for them to come out to our place. They just had it in their shop for months and the heat worked when it was sent to them. Last night, while looking things over, I noticed that the ground cable coming out of the bottom of the heater wasn't even connected. They simply left it hanging loose. I reconnected it, hoping it would solve the problem, but it didn't. If you wish to purchase a tub through "ANYONE" please do more research and questioning on the individual store's repair policies and practices than on the tubs themselves. If you live any distance away from the store, find another dealer closer to your home. The manufacturer of Hot Spring Spas will be of little to no help on "ANY" problems or complaints on the store. They agreed to contact Pool World and have done it on several occasions, but they emphasize that they have "Absolutely No Control" on how the individual store owners run their stores. They cannot order them to do "ANYTHING." I give a 1-star rating to Pool World, and only a 2-star rating to Hot Springs Spas. Now we're stuck with having to try and figure out how to get this 450-gallon waste product to the dump. Yet more and more costs. Another update: We just got off the phone with the manufacture again. They state again, we are on our own. They cannot help us. So we have two choices, the trash or a lawyer. read more

All in all I have been very happy with Pool world. Anytime I've needed help testing my pool water or had questions about how to take care of it, they are knowledgeable and quick to help. Samantha is the lady that usually helps me and every time she's been amazing! My fiancé and I purchased a hot tub from here after being so impressed and pleased with the level of customer service we received with the pool and we are happy we did. One of the speakers was out in the hot tub and after we called, they sent someone out within days to fix it. You can buy a hot tub anywhere but, if you want quality and outstanding customer service to go along with your pool or hot tub purchase, Pool World is the best place to go! read more

We had a horrendous experience with Poolworld on a few fronts. First, they sent a representative to our home for the wrong problem. We were able to get someone out for a second visit finally. This was mildly frustrating but not the worst part of our experience. Poolworld then decided to send us to collections within a couple weeks of their visit, even though they had our credit card on file to cover the charges. They also failed to tell us about their minimum visit charge of $200. Utterly ridiculous. Now they are refusing to be of any help in the collections situation or reduce their charges for the visit. I didn't even buy a tub from these guys, but every Saturday I check on my water chemistry because I have a 500 gallon Hot Springs spa. Dealing with this company was one of the worst experiences of my life. I have never been given more false information or cheated more. I hired them to open my pool and do weekly maintenance. The price I was charged was 5 times more than I was quoted. They are an absolute "Rip-Off". Poolworld should be ashamed of their business practices and customer service. Unbelievable! They charge $115./hr for the glorified sprinkler blower and $60./hr for the stoner helper bee that does really nothing. Doctors wages for maintenance jobs that are really not that difficult. We are new pool owners and I just spent over $500. to close my pool. I actually spent $500. to learn how to do it myself. This shiz aint rocket science folks. Way, way over rated and expensive for the work that is done. This business model will eventually fail. read more
