At the end of the lesson, he even asked if he could call me, which felt inappropriate and left me with nothing learned. I contacted the receptionist, explained the situation, and asked to be reassigned, which is when I was paired with Frank. While I was grateful for the switch, I do feel the school should have provided me with a makeup lesson since my first one was a complete waste of time. That said, I'm very glad that with only 4 lessons, I was able to absorb enough from Frank to pass my test. Several other commenters said that they had failed the road test with instructors at other schools & when they came to Leadway, they passed. I had taken lessons from another driving school over 26 (yes) years ago & I failed twice. The second time, it was over not getting parallel parking right. To be honest, I don't blame the instructor. Indeed, Mr. S. was patient with me. From my challenges with parallel parking to me needing to take a long pause & postponing lessons & the road test due to my mother's 2020 passing, he & I dealt with a lot. I even paid for perhaps more lessons than the average person. Leadway's 15-lesson package with the 5-hour class helped solidified my choice for a driving school. The pandemic, where achieving the goal of earning my driver's license has been one of the few positive things to come out of 2020, going into 2021. I recently got into an accident that shook me up and so I signed up for lessons again to build my confidence back up and he made me feel better after just one lesson and didn't try to scam me into taking more. He's also really professional and diligent. He's always on time or slightly early for lessons, he never loses his cool, he prompt to respond to scheduling requests, and he makes sure you're comfortable on the road. Five lessons with 5hr class , road test appointment and use of their car for road test. An hour before the first lesson , Moses called my son and told him he was running behind and my son should meet him at the driving school. My son has a learners permit and cannot drive unless he is with a license driver. How was he supposed to get to the driving school? The bus? pay a Uber to come to the driving school for a lesson ! Secondly , he taught my son basic driving skills , no pointers on parallel parking or any useful tips for passing. Lastly, he is bad at returning calls, to this day, we are waiting for him to call is back to schedule the road test. The receptionist is nice , she tries to help. Her instructor, Steve, was absolutely wonderful, patient, kind, and supportive throughout the entire process. We had a small hiccup along the way, but the receptionist (I wish I remembered her name!) handled it quickly and resolved everything in no time. Yesterday, my daughter took her driving test and passed on her very first try! I can't recommend Success Driving School enough.
