Ken Woodson founded Access & Mobility in 2002 in Middle Tennessee to address a large, unmet need for mobility and accessibility products at home such as: residential elevators, small commercial elevators, stair lifts, and platform lifts working alongside the finest homebuilders and architects. Access & Mobility is a family owned and locally operated business serving Middle TN and surrounding areas like Brentwood, Franklin and Nashville. It has grown from a team of one (Ken, the owner) to a team of over twenty that includes Ken’s wife and two sons, daughters-in-law, and grandsons. The company’s growth has come from word-of-mouth referrals from delighted customers. The Access & Mobility installation team has over 85 years of collective experience. Meet the Business Owner: Ken W.

Ken Woodson, Access & Mobility founder, began his career in the Medical Equipment field in Virginia in 1992. While working with customers, Ken recognized a large, unmet need for accessibility in the home like home elevators. So, Ken moved his family to Middle TN and began Access & Mobility installing stair lifts and residential elevators based in Nashville in 2002. The company’s mission has always been to help those with disabilities and mobility issues, the elderly, and our veterans. Under Ken’s leadership, Access & Mobility has used its 20 plus years of experience and “can do” attitude to earn a reputation for tailored solutions that enable seamless installation of accessibility products in existing homes and small commercial environments.
