Mike, the owner, went out of his way to to help me resolve a problem with my generator. I called him to setup a visit for him to come to my house and repair it. Instead, he started asking me a series of questions that culminated in him having me go out to the unit while he explained very clearly how I should push the buttons on the control board to not only see what the message was and when it stopped working, which turned out to be 4 months ago, which he explained was likely caused by the very cold weather last winter, but how to clear the message and had me actually start the generator. Amazingly it started right up and ran perfectly. He had me shut it off and basically told me that I didn't really need him to repair anything. I asked if I could send him some money for helping me fix my own generator and he graciously declined, telling me that if something ever goes wrong in the future to just call him. I had previously called another company and they quoted me 400.00 to come out to fix my generator when a friend suggested that I call Mike. He didn't know me and had no reason to do what he did, as I told him I wanted pay for a service call. I have never had a company do anything like this and am so grateful to him for helping me in this way. If I ever need service again I will definitely be calling him. read more

I have literally never left a yelp review. Mike Kurz, the owner of this business, returned a call from my 78-year-old mother, and to say that he spoke to her poorly is an understatement. She called him to inquire about a repair after having difficulty with another company. When the other company returned to make the situation right, my mom allowed them to give it a try. While they were at her house house, Mike called, and when she informed him that this other company was there, Mike lost it. He verbally berated her, didn't allow her to explain what was going on, and eventually hung up on her. I don't care if he's the best generator repairman in the state, I wouldn't do business with him. It's only at the request of my sweet mother that this jerkstore didn't get a personal call from me. read more
