Had the owner Curt out to diagnose a dryer issue. I went over the issues we were having:…read more1. Clothes taking a long time to dry 2. Making noise with heavier loads 3. Drum doesn't appear to be turning as fast. Curt poo-pooed each item, and said it's probably a issue with the coil. He stared at the dryer flame for 10 minutes and said he could see nothing wrong. After paying $60 he said to keep checking and if the issue occurs again he would come out again, the fee is good for 30 days. So in the mean time I identified the issue, which was the idler pulley was seized up and no longer turning, causing the issue with the drum speed. Curt had agreed to come back out this morning, and had told me to have a load of wash ready for the dryer. When he arrived he noticed that the dryer was not running and started shaking his head. Curt had showed some attitude in the original visit, as he explained away each item we had experienced with the dyer (the noise we "thought" we heard was just because we were now listening for an issue, etc.) So I asked why he was shaking his head again and had an attitude, and he said "have the internet fix your dryer"....huh? So I asked for my $60 check back, but he didn't have it with him...so he just drove off. I think he was upset that I diagnosed an issue that he missed, or was too focused on what he thought the issue was. Anyway, he seemed like a nice guy, but turned out to be very condescending and temperamental. There are better choices out there for appliance repair.

They even swept up after themselves when they were done. I mentioned to Shawn about not leaving the doors open to keep the cat from running out and he incorporated my concerns into his kick off huddle with his team before they started. It's worth noting that I previously had a Lowes contractor give me a price for a generator install. Not only did the local Lowes contractor tell some fibs about what was required because of the Michigan Building Code (which I rebutted because I know the code and I offered a copy for him to show me the section right on the spot ) I was offered a lesser quality Generac generator (even after I told him I wanted Kohler) and a small limited circuit manual transfer switch. Nevertheless I sent him on his way and called Shawn. I have never looked back. Not only was Shawn's price reasonable he was lower than the other contractor and I got what I wanted to which was a Koehler generator and whole house automatic transfer switch so I didn't have to pick and choose what I wanted on the panel I am a contractor so I know the system. My tiny kitchen and narrow doorways made for a difficult delivery, but they were very careful and respectful of my home. My old waterline to frig had a bad spot, they came back and repaired/replaced as needed so it is 100%. Dishwasher, stove, micro and frig all delivered in excellent condition, arrived and installed when they said they would, cleaned up packaging and put my old appliances in the garage for me. All that and it was very reasonably priced- maybe even better than all the big stores.

We were referred to them from seeing their trucks and mowers flying around other properties in the subdivision and saw the quality in other yards mowed. Thankfully we were able to get added to the route and they have done an excellent job. I waited 4 mows to make sure this review was vetted. So happy to have switched as they do quality work and the now team is so friendly. Only honest feedback downside was it took 2 weeks to get the initial mow, with multiple emails checking in. Office staff is not the most responsive or not totally coordinated with the field team.

I am a new customer and i didn't know what to expect. They will not get another year from me for sure. If you need someone to clean your driveway before you take kids out to school or before you head out early to work, do yourself a huge favor and go with another company like A&R, you pay more money but at least they provide quality customer service.
