Poor job and no concern after they get paid. Small note - the driver sat in our driveway for 15 minutes with his shirt off - not that big of a big deal but amateurish and unprofessional and a bit gross.

Drum doesn't appear to be turning as fast. Curt poo-pooed each item, and said it's probably a issue with the coil. He stared at the dryer flame for 10 minutes and said he could see nothing wrong. After paying $60 he said to keep checking and if the issue occurs again he would come out again, the fee is good for 30 days. So in the mean time I identified the issue, which was the idler pulley was seized up and no longer turning, causing the issue with the drum speed. Curt had agreed to come back out this morning, and had told me to have a load of wash ready for the dryer. When he arrived he noticed that the dryer was not running and started shaking his head. Curt had showed some attitude in the original visit, as he explained away each item we had experienced with the dyer (the noise we "thought" we heard was just because we were now listening for an issue, etc.) So I asked why he was shaking his head again and had an attitude, and he said "have the internet fix your dryer"....huh? So I asked for my $60 check back, but he didn't have it with him...so he just drove off. I think he was upset that I diagnosed an issue that he missed, or was too focused on what he thought the issue was. Anyway, he seemed like a nice guy, but turned out to be very condescending and temperamental. There are better choices out there for appliance repair.

Woke up in the morning the other day where we had no water in our home. After reviewing both…read moreGoogle and Yelp reviews for well contractors in the area we settled on Wyckoff Well Drilling based on all the positive reviews where Google is a 5 star average! I called the business at 7:30 am, a time that most businesses of this nature were closed and was surprised to reach a human voice on the other end end. Seeing that we were literally out of water and in a lurch the owner, Robert, was able to juggle his full schedule and was get to our house less than an hour after contacting him. Upon arrival Robert was able to quickly diagnose our issue as a failed pressure switch and had parts on hand to effect the repair all within an hours timeframe. The service call with labor and parts came to $140 which was very very reasonable in my mind. I truly expected it to be much more due to all the price gouging I have seen in this area in the past and definately did not expect to be up and running again within 2 hours of my original call. Nice! Throughout the process Robert and his grandson Trevor were super friendly and explained what was going on throughout the process showing great patience with my questions as he went about the business of the repair. During the repair process he identified that the pressure switch had failed as a result of my 35 year old pressure tank being near end of useful life where the bladder was clearly starting to fail. He explained to me that we could get a few more years out of my old tank but the tradeoff was that my well pump which is also 35 years old was getting cycled way more than it should which could lead to a an earlier failure of that key component which would be a much more expensive repair on the order of $3500. At no point did he pressure me to replace the pressure tank but instead provided key data/information I needed to make an informed decision all the while stating I could push this tank replacement off maybe a couple more years. Being a retired engineer I appreciated both his honesty and candor where he presented the facts/data which is the way all contractors should act and most dont and let me make up my own mind where I decided to proceed with the replacement of the pressure tank in order to extend the life of my old more expensive well pump which he did two days later. No over the top pressure tactics here and the usual scare tactics that contractors like use. Again nice! Overall I was completely satisfied with the work he did on my well system and how he handled his business. Reasonable cost, first class work and a friendly demeanor are hard to beat in my book and I will definately contacting him for any well issues I have in the future. Five stars in my book.

This resulted in a large quantity of the toilet water going into my storage room and causing significant damage to photo albums, paper records, etc. Your man returned to reinstall the toilet. This time the drain pipe the toilet attaches to got cracked. As a result, when he left, the nuts that secure the toilet to the drain pipe could not be tightened and the caps that cover the nuts were missing. In addition, the toilet was not caulked. It cost me over $500 to hire a different plumber to repair the damages
