I just wanted to take a moment and thank Lance and his staff for making my girls night out a memorable one. I have been calling around to a few locations around the northwest suburbs and I swear I never thought that renting a party bus would be so hard. I had other companies tell me that it was one price and when I asked to send over a quote they would add Fuel Charge, Toll Fee, Mileage, Tax - Restocking fee (I'm kidding on the last one but I wouldn't be surprised with the garbage quotes that I have been getting) So going back to my experience I called the office and spoke to Lance he knew I was frustrated and I explained my situation with the bait and switch, additional fees and not being stuck with a big bill at the end of the night. He took his time and explained the packages to me and sent me over a through quote. I called back to confirm that was it and placed my deposit. ( I was told by other companies that I didn't require a deposit in the past to only have a no show limo - I was not taking any chances.) I received a confirmation email and everything was set. The day of my event the office called to confirm and provided me with a thorough confirmation to assure me that my Party Bus will be there at my pick up time of 8pm The driver arrived at 7:45pm professionally dressed and courteous. We were allowed to bring aboard our own liquor, music - you name it we had it. It was a great night my sister in law requested the Hookah service which I added to our night out and it was awesome she loved it! We arrived to our dinner on time, but we did go a little over during dinner and Marcus was courteous enough to wait for us and even was outside holding an umbrella for us ladies because it was raining. Each time we left the Party Bus we had everything spread out all over and when we got back on the bus Marcus had everything cleaned and organized. Something that someone who has OCD like me appreciates! We all had an amazing time and I HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone. Access Granted Chicago made my 21st birthday unforgettable. They picked up my party right on time. The party bus was very clean and had ice and waters. The A/C was working great and that mattered because it was 90 degrees last night. The sound system was great and I got to play my music through Bluetooth. The lights were really nice! Overall the party bus was perfect! Now, let me tell you about the driver, Jon. Jon is a great funny guy and I'm glad he was my driver last night. I wouldn't want anyone else to drive my party around the city. That's how great he was! He followed my schedule and everything was right on time. Once he arrived he helped us connect my phone to the Bluetooth and explained how everything worked. I gave him my phone to take pictures of my party. He took great pictures of us. He made sure everything was okay through out the night. Jon really took care of us. My 21st birthday was great because of Jon. I would definitely book Access Granted again. Sent us a bus with no AC in the middle of summer. They claimed as the bus got moving the AC would kick on. Made it a few miles from our house and we asked when it would start working and driver said she didn't know. We asked her to pull over, it was stifling hot on the bus. She spent 30 minutes in FaceTime with someone trying to fix the bus to no avail. We asked her to bring us back to our house and call for another bus. She took us home and had no answer to another bus. Company had no solutions for alternatives either. We were SOL to get to our concert in the city. When we went with this company I saw all refs negative reviews and AC issues. Lance PROMISED me that those were all old reviews and old issues. I'm here to say it's the same old shit, don't go with this company if you want to take 21 people to a concert! read more

Horrible! We were set to get on a party bus after a bridal party photoshoot. After an hour and half and multiple attempts to contact the bus driver, they claimed their bus broke down. Worst part is, we got multiple different stories about what happened to to the bus and our bridal party of 20 PEOPLE had to find other means of transportation to make it back in time for the reception. I thought I was too old for a "party bus" but I had the best time ever!! My small group of friends (some from out of town) totally enjoyed the evening. The bus was clean, groovy lights, music was on point, spacious, VIP area for my special guests, hookah (of which I never liked before it was available on my party bus last weekend) and a free bottle of LIQUOR!! Access Granted did an amazing job this weekend taking our wedding party to our photo ops on their 24 person party bus. Our driver Derrick was very friendly, professional, and accommodating. He arrived early and gave us plenty of time to get situated before setting off (which we did late anyway because obviously). The bus was immaculate. All the seats were in perfect condition, the handlebars on the ceiling were amazingly all still there, and the floor looked spotless. The decor I felt was also perfect. Far from sparse, but not over the top like some other party buses I've been on. Some of the reviews on this page had me worried, but I'd like to think they took them to heart and worked on it because the experience I had this weekend was great, very professional. Angela would call me regularly to confirm everything and make sure I didn't miss any details when filling out the contract to ensure that we didn't charged extra or lose our reservation! I recently rented a party bus for my daughters Sweet Sixteen. I called and left a message (THEY NEVER ANSWER THE MAIN NUMBER) to see if they date I needed was available before purchasing the Groupon. I received a call back from Lance within 24 hours and went over the dates, times and location of what I needed and was told he needed to run everything past his manager and would call me "RIGHT BACK." A WEEK later after receiving no phone call I called back and proceeded to leave a message on their voicemail EVERY DAY for almost an entire week before I was able to speak to someone by the name of Jessica. I was told that they had been very overwhelmed because of the Groupon offer and that they were behind on returning calls. Jessica gave me her "direct number" to call so that I would have better success at reaching someone. I was told that someone would write up a contract and they would be in touch with me. An entire week passed and I hadn't heard anything so again I reached out to them and was told oh ok we will get that over to you right away. Once I received the contract I filled it out and faxed and emailed it back just to be safe. I specifically wrote on the cover sheet to please confirm with me that they had received it. I then received an email back FIVE days later saying, "Hello, We have received your contract." I then emailed back asking what the next step would be considering my daughters party wasn't for another 10 days and was told someone would be calling me prior to the day to confirm everything and make sure there wasn't any changes that needed to be made. I had been so busy with the party planning that it wasn't until a cpl hours before that I realized no on had called me. I tried calling Jessica's "direct line" as well as the main number and kept getting voicemail's. I then sent a text and an hour later received a text back that they had been trying to call me, but it was busy. I immediately called the number and spoke with Jessica and asked what number she had been calling. She had been calling a back line at my work that I had apparently called from one of the times. I told her I didn't know why she would be calling that number considering I had never given them that number and God knows I had left numerous voicemail's with my cell number, not to mention it wasn't the number I listed on my contract. So then she proceeded to tell me the bus driver was on his way to the pick up location which I pointed out he wasn't to be there til a half hour later than what she thought. She said that Bobby (the bus driver) would have my number from her and would be calling me. Almost immediately after hanging up from me I received a call from Bobby. I explained that he was going to be early and he assured me it wasn't a problem and then asked if we could go over the details so we could make sure we were on the right page. He had the pick up time as 10pm when it was supposed to be 11pm and said for me to not worry that he would work things out. He is was literally the ONLY person that had been reassuring and actually acted like they cared. So now fast forward to the end of the party. Bobby was suppose to be there at 10:45pm so that I could get the kids loaded and on their way by 11pm. I sent him a text to see if he was on time and he called me to say he was sorry but that he was running 30 mins late. Although I was irritated since I had parents planning on picking their kids up at that time from the drop off location, I understood things happen and was fine. However, 10-15 mins later I get a call again from Bobby telling me we were on a 3 way call with Lance. Lance then proceeds to tell me that the bus broke down and that they are trying to get another bus to come, but that he will have to call and update me in 10 minutes. After 10 mins passed I called Lance for an update. He told me it would be a minimum of 1 hour before he could get another bus out there. I told him that wasn't going to work that I needed to get these kids home (at this point its after 11:30pm) and that he needed to just call and get 4 or 5 taxi vans. Again I was told he would call be back in 10 mins with an update and again I was the one that had to call back. So long story short we FINALLY left the venue at 2:30am! This was only because the parents were so tired of waiting that they all got together and carpooled and drove to pick the kids up themselves. Lance was able to provide ONE car for the 3 remaining kids who didn't have rides. For a company that provides transportation, there is absolutely no reason and no excuse for it to have taken almost 4 hours to get these kids home, 90% of which I figured out on my own! The only reason I am giving them 1 star is because I was given a full refund, however, that doesn't take away the fact that my daughters Sweet Sixteen ended with her in tears. I want to qualify this post by stating that I have been relying on Yelp for many years and have never written a review until now -- that's how disappointed I am with Access Granted Chicago. I had booked this bus many months before my event. The days leading up to my event, I spoke regularly with the company to finalize the special day -- a wedding. On the day of the event, they were supposed to show up at Noon. Noon passes, 12:15pm passes, and no call. We called the bus driver and their headquarters, nearly 5 times over a span of 30 minutes and no one picked up. Nearly an hour later, someone at the headquarters picked up and stated that the bus has broken down. I'm sorry -- if the bus was broken down, wouldn't it make sense to let the client know? To add salt to the wound, we received conflicting comments from the HQ and the bus driver as to what had happened to the bus. My wife was absolutely devastated as we missed out on taking once in a life pictures of our bridal party! Our entire bridal party had to rent nearly 8 ubers to drive us around -- less than ideal to be doing this in a wedding dress and a tuxedo. Fast forward a few days, I called the headquarters again and tried to get a hold of the manager -- they promised to call me the same day, and guess what? No call. A few days later, they emailed me stating that will refund my payment and would not be willing to get on a phone call. Looking through the reviews, they have used this excuse before. Accidents happen, but there is absolutely no excuse for lack of courtesy and lies. I would give them a negative review if I could. I rented the Access Granted Chicago Party bus for a bachelorette party and ALL OF THE LADIES HAD A GREAT TIME !!! The bus was spacious, Bluetooth capability for listening to music, and the overall look was great. The staff was VERY helpful and courteous : Jessica was a LIFE SAVER... she helped me out when I was in a time crunch trying to plan this bachelorette party in a short period of time. The party bus was affordably priced ---and Jessica walked me through everything I needed to do & know in order to book the party bus. After I booked the time and date, she connected me with the coordinator Ibrahim. Ibrahim was an AWESOME coordinator who helped me to figure out the events of the night that would work best for my group. He responded to my questions/concerns timely, and he made me feel like I was a priority when I had questions/concerns leading up to the event night. He also kept in touch with me throughout the night of the party bus rental which made me feel like he was there and available every step of the way just in case there would have been any issues (which there were not any issues thanks to the great preplanning we had already done :-) Bobby was a VERY courteous driver. He arrived a little early which was GREAT because it gave us time to learn about the bus before the guests arrived (ie: how to work the music etc) Very informative, helped us to connect to the Bluetooth capability that the party bus has , and he made it VERY CLEAR that he was there to make sure that EVERYTHING WENT WELL FOR US!!! This is by far the worst company that I have ever worked with. I used Access for a party bus for my wedding. Upon arriving 20 minutes late to our pick up location the air on the bus did not work and it was a 92 degree day. Besides not knowing where any of our locations were including making numerous wrong turns our bus driver was extremely rude to my mother and refused to give her a receipt when I paid the remainder of our balance. While in church I was told that the air would be fixed and a technical would visit the bus to assess the problem. That did not happen and the tech told the bus driver to turn the bus off and on. This is by far the worst business transaction I have made and will not and encourage others to not use their services as the people involved and the business took part in ruining one of the best days of my life. read more

Access Granted really delivered. Rented the AG4 for my wedding and we had such an awesome time. Inside the bus was completely decked out and even had a selfie station that we all loved. Access Granted was a little difficult to get a hold of in the beginning. Liz then helped us through everything and told us to text or email her. And then every response was super quick. Felicia the driver called the morning of to confirm everything. They were on time with pick ups. Marcus was so helpful and had such high energy. When he arrived at the pick ups he helped carry the boxes of bouquets, coolers and helped all the girls get onto the bus safely. When we arrived at the banquet hall he went in a made sure everyone was inside so they wouldn't see the bride. After the ceremony they kept the energy high. This bus is really spacious, clean and convenient. It is really easy to play your own music (Which has always been an issue on the previous busses I've been on). If I could give zero stars I would. Confirmed a date for a bachelorette party for this weekend over a MONTH ago. Two days ago I received a phone call from a woman to confirm my times of pick up/drop offs..I was told the completely wrong times and informed the woman this was not correct and I needed the pick up earlier as I had reservations to the destination. She told me they needed proof of the times I had scheduled, I proceeded to forward them the contract I received saying the time I needed and also forwarded several confirmation emails in which the times were stated. After a day of waiting I called back to see if this issue was resolved..got a TEXT back stating they would check their email..another day goes by and I call again to see if the issue is resolved and the woman stated they were working on it but asked if I would consider moving our pick up time to 11pm (original time was 7:30) I said no I have an entire party timing around this bus and I was assured this would be the pick up time. The woman stated she would try to figure something out but they had already booked another party during my pick up time and there were no other busses available and someone who worked there before her took my reservation and messed something up. Finally got a call back from the lady stating that it was entirely their fault and that they wouldn't be able to give me the service I already paid for, she even asked if I would move my party to Sunday instead. I stated again, no this was a pre planned bachelorette party and now it was basically ruined since I have 3 days to figure out a new bus company that will be way more expensive due to the time..she said in a very blahzay way that all they could do is give me a refund. This company is SO unprofessional and completely disregarded the fact that my weekend was now entirely messed up because of them. Bad, bad,bad is the only way I can rate the experience with this company. My daughter got married on July 10th at 2:30 p.m., well 3 because the bus company was 45 minutes late arriving to the church. We had arranged for the bus company to be at our house at 2 p.m. We called the driver at 1:55 and he told us he was 5 minutes away. We called again at 2:15, and he said he was just down the street. He arrived at 2:30 to pick them up, when the wedding was suppose to be starting, He arrived at the church at 2:45 after making numerous wrong turns, so my daughter was late for her own wedding. I was standing outside waiting for them, and I explained to him my concern that this was happening all because he was not honest with us. If he had told us how far away he was from the beginning we would have gotten the girls and my daughter to the church by ourselves. I also asked for a receipt as I saw my daughter gave him the remainder of the balance, in cash, to the driver as she was getting off the bus. The bus driver told me we had to go to the website for that. I asked him to write something down showing the payment was paid in full and I was told they don't do that. That is a very poor business practice!!!! He was making all of these excuses so I started to walk away from him as we we already very late. He very rudely yelled to me, "DON'T WALK AWAY FROM ME WHEN I AM TALKING TO YOU." The 45 minutes we lost because of the drivers tardiness and his lies are minutes we will never be able to get back. Lastly the air was broken on the bus their entire ride. It was the hottest day of the year thus far at 92 degrees. We were told while the ceremony was happening an engineer would be out to fix the air, but we were lied to again as that never happened. We were offered a free ride at another time, however we would never do business with them again.
