When looking for a photobooth vendor for our wedding, we researched many different companies, but Magbooth was the obvious choice. My husband and I are very picky when it comes to photography. We've been to several weddings, and usually, the quality of the photo and photo paper for most photobooths is mediocre. We loved Magbooth because they actually use a decent DSLR (my husband noticed that it was a Nikon D3100), and the photo paper isn't flimsy like most other companies. They customize a logo for you and send you a coffee table book with all of your guests' photobooth pictures (with the option of omitting inappropriate pictures if you'd like), which we preferred over other vendors who create a scrapbook for the Bride and Groom. The attendant was great and let us know when he was shutting down the booth to check if we wanted to get some final pictures in. Victor is very responsive via email, and we received our CD of images and coffee table book very quickly. The only downfall is that you only get one photo per sitting so our friends who went into the booth as a group had to decide on who keeps the picture. Interesting my review was taken down?! I'm going to leave another review because I feel STRONGLY that my nephew was mistreated by a employee of Magnolia photo booth at a wedding we were at. The employee was rude the ENTIRE night (clearly at didn't want to be there) but lost her cool when she grabbed my 6 year old nephew and yelled at him when he tried to photo bomb his aunts. MULTIPLE (very sober) witnesses to this. Zero excuse for that and really unprofessional. If you want to be rude and crabby, a fun wedding probably isn't the place for you. read more

I was at a wedding this past weekend and was disappointed by the booth attendant. She refused to let more than 2 people in the booth at a time. She yelled at myself and multiple other guest. The photo booth itself states that there will be 4 pictures but only 3 pictures are taken and provided. A photo booth is not a wedding essential, but by golly, was this money well spent! So very glad we splurged a little and found room in the budget to have Magbooth be part of our wedding day. First of all, the quality of the photos is outstanding. The photos looked super clear but have a classic vintage look as well. Second, our guests went bananas for the photobooth. The kids, not surprisingly, had a field day, but the adults also went all out and people really let loose. Third, as a complete bonus, our Magbooth attendant could not have been more professional! He was friendly but kept control of the booth (and the props) without being overly strict. He was careful to be extra accommodating to the bride and groom and, for example, offered to print out extra copies of our pics when we had multiple people in the booth. He was also so patient with our rowdy guests. We will always treasure the fun photobooth pics from the wedding. The Company is also great about working with you on a custom design for the printouts. I can't believe that I haven't reviewed this place yet! I dreamed of having a photo booth at our wedding and it didn't seem like it just wasn't going to fit into our budget. Thank goodness I saw a groupon for this company! Working with them was a dream, everyone was very friendly. If I could give Victor and the crew at MagBooth eleventy billion stars, I would do it. I purchased the groupon for a Magbooth about six weeks ago to use at my wedding. The Magbooth crew was kinda overwhelmed by the response via groupon, but they did a great job of keeping me in the loop regarding everything with my photobooth. In the days leading up to the wedding, I discovered that there had been a miscommunication between myself and the fine folks at Magbooth regarding the inclusion of a guest book in my package. (Huge note: the miscommunication was totally and completely MY FAULT as I am a dummy sometimes and apparently read at a 2nd grade level.) Victor bent over backwards to go out and get me a guestbook because he knew I was really looking forward to it, despite me telling him to not worry about it as it was my screwup and hence, should be my job to fix it. Like went out the morning of the wedding to get it at the last minute backwards. Seriously. I think the man lives, breathes, and sleeps Magbooth. He's the best and a dream to work with. And the Magbooth itself? Biggest hit at the wedding, hands down. People were in it up until the very end of the night, and our guestbook is just awesome. I teared up a little when I saw the pictures and how much fun folks were having. Our attendant, Brandon, was the nicest guy in the world, and was sure to encourage our guests to cause even more trouble than they already were ;) The box of props was hysterical - mustaches? Viking hats? Swords? All there, and all fabulous. Not that I'm planning on getting hitched again - but if I was? I would not hesitate to hire these guys again to bring a fun extra touch to my evening. I first heard (saw?) of MagBooth when friends posted a few of their photos online. Based on the quality of the images, the custom design, and the fun props, I knew that if we were going to have a photobooth at our wedding, it was going to have to be a MagBooth photobooth! We unfortunately weren't able to see the booth in action at our local bridal show, but no sweat for MagBooth -- they helpfully set up an appointment for us to stop by their warehouse in Chicago. As the only customers there, we received the full rundown and a few sample shots -- 3-photo strip vs 4-photo 4x6, black and white, vintage color. Sold! Is the price a little steep, taking into account all your other wedding expenses? Sure. But we felt that if we couldn't afford MagBooth, we weren't going to have a photobooth at our wedding at all. You will receive excellent service and quality product from start to finish. Every staffer we met or spoke with (at least 5 different people) was attentive, friendly, and helpful. The images were available online the Monday after our wedding (and after we did a quick check for any 'bombs'), and downloads are free. We received our disc of photos within a week, and since then we have ALWAYS gotten a good laugh looking through them all. Our only regret is not spending more time in the booth getting group shots with friends and family -- but then there's never enough time for anything on the night of your wedding, right?! They answered any questions we had and were very prompt on getting us our invoices. I appreciated their organization, it helped keep me organized throughout our wedding planning process. They have great props and the gratification of getting the photos right away and then later getting a photo book of all the slides is awesome. OK this review is waaaay late. We hired Magnolia for our wedding celebration reception thingy in June. But it's good that I procrastinated because I have attended weddings with other photo booth companies since then. And let me just tell you, Magnolia blew them all away when it comes to quality and the overall experience. The price is steep but you really do get what you pay for. The quality of the photos is really superior to the other booths I've encountered. Even the look of the booth itself is more appealing. And the props are not as cheap looking as some others are. The coffee table book with all of the prints is for reals the best thing ever. Tip: don't tell your guests that you will get a copy of all the prints. If boobs make an appearance, you will have the option to remove them from your book. But it's still hilarious. I first learned of Magnolia Photo Booth when I attended a wedding expo. I always knew I wanted a photo booth ONLY because of Magnolia. I went to other wedding expos and events that also had photo booths, but I kept comparing them to Magnolia. I truly feel that the quality of their pictures are unmatched; seriously , it's like each guest got their own professional photo shoot. I also liked working with Victor and Michael. I love the staff's fun, quirky, friendly personalities. You get a 4-hour package and Victor allowed us to give our guest the photo strips the first 2 hours photo strips and the the awesome 4x6 prints during the last 2 hours. Hiring Magnolia was one of the best wedding decisions my husband and I made. We actually used them in San Francisco for our Save the Dates and then decided to hire them for our reception. I can't tell you how amazing it was to see all the photos from the booth of our friends and family having a blast at our wedding. It makes me so happy to see everyone having fun and getting silly. When we were planning our wedding, that just happened last weekend, we had three things that were priority with our budget; great food and drink, the best music=dance party and amazing pictures. my fiance's sister sent him the Groupon for this photo booth which was the best forward ever since our budget otherwise would not allow us to have both a photographer and a photo booth. Turns out Magnolia is one of the more reasonable priced ones and they have great package levels. I had been to a wedding the summer before with a photo booth and it's one of the only things i remember from that wedding... that's how good that wedding AND having a booth was. I knew we had to have one and am so glad we got this one! Everyone was really excited for it. Our guests kept grabbing each other and going back for more and more pictures and showing them off to eeryone, it was a hit!!! They brought a ridiculous selection of props to make our pictures even more silly and Brandon, the guy who worked it, was so nice! Magnolia was an unexpected hero at our wedding. We expected high quality photos, great looking booth, approachable booth operator, fun props ... and Magnolia delivered all of this as if it was a matter of simple routine. We had chosen Magnolia because we loved their aesthetic, their attitude, the positive reviews, and the price. We justified the cost as the photos they give the guest could be considered part of our gift. And they were a spectacular addition to the festivities. What truly makes Magnolia a joy to work with is their responsiveness and attentiveness. They were eager and accommodating during the planning of the logistics (they had to load the booth into the venue hours before the booth would "open"). They also went through several iterations during the design phases. During the celebration, as if by magic, they got a wide range of guests into the booth and the booth was constantly in action. Based on the time stamps on the pictures it was truly every couple of minutes for about 3 straight hours! And the big surprise was the speed of delivery after the wedding. We were able to send out the online gallery link before brunch the day after. And the book, oh what a joy the book!, was ready equally fast. We found Magbooth a few years ago when we attended a wedding and I don't think there is a better endorsement then that. We are at that age where we go to 7-8 weddings a year and this is by far the best photo booth around. The quality is great, the guests loved it, and we got a copy of every picture. They were easy to work with, responsive, and helpful when we had questions. They were a little out of our budget but we decided to go for it and I am so glad that we did. First of all, don't do what we did: we booked Mag Booth literally 24 hours before our wedding. arghh... But boy oh boy, were we so happy and relieved they were able to accommodate us! :D Victor was amazing right from the start. I called him frantic after plans with our current photo booth co fell through (wasn't their fault- and they actually referred me to Magbooth). He kindly and immediately made me feel at ease and called around to see if they had the staff to work our event. Within a couple hours...we had a photo booth!! And not just any photo booth, but a super cute one with GREAT vintage quality 4x6" unlimited photos that our guests could take home with them. I loved their style, and so many people were raving about the vintage tones and high quality photos. We also exchanged a few emails within those few hours with our logos and what we wanted on the bottom of the photo strips, which at other photo booths usually cost a lot more, but Magnolia includes that (i think), as well as the props AND the awesome coffee table digital photo book that we also get free of charge! How cool is that??! Thanks SO MUCH again, Victor and Dan, for helping me out so last-minute and accommodating us in every single way. Our photo booth attendant Melissa was also very sweet! You guys helped make our wedding so memorable and super fun!!!! Oh- one thing I would recommend- just make sure your guests are ready for the first (of 4) shots in the booth- after you press the START button, it shoots the first shot after like 5 seconds, but it doesn't give a countdown or warning, so most people were caught off-guard. I let them know of this small complaint and they said they would look into helping fix this, so hopefully you won't have this issue! They were extremely professional and easy to work with throughout the wedding planning process, and everything went smoothly that night. Our operator was fun and nice to all our guests, and she even stayed 15 minutes over the contracted time so we (bride/groom) could get one last picture to close out the night. They can actually be framed, which isn't as easy with the traditional photo booth strips. The process was very easy and our attendant was pleasant.
